STOP!! Don't order from this company. Again, do NOT order from this company. Placed an order for several items, one was the wrong size (the right size was listed on my invoice) and another item was defective upon arrival. The only way they would replace either item was for me to pay the shipping to return the wrong & defective item. They make their customers pay the shipping to return items they send in error and for defective parts.
In addition to having to pay the return shipping cost, you have to wait until they receive and process the returned items before they ship the replacements to you. If you need the item(s) right away you are out of luck. I thought about ordering my defective/incorrect items from another company and just get a refund from Performance PC. This way I could cut down the amount of time I had to wait by avoiding having to wait the time for my return shipping and their processing time. However, if they issue a refund, even on items they shipped incorrectly and on defective parts, they charge you a 15% restocking fee.
That’s right, when they make a mistake – they still charge you a 15% restocking fee. Make you pay return shipping and make you wait an extra long time or pay a 15% restocking fee.
This isn’t a company you should do business with – avoid them. They have absolutely no concern for their customers and absolutely don’t treat their customers fairly. Do NOT do business with them at any cost. I’ll bet they will soon be out of business given their very poor customer policies.

Excelent online store. My order was shipped in the same day.
Price is not that low, but they do ship overseas, which is great for me, since I can't find some itens here.
The postage service is way too overpriced. Paid like US$16 and it only did cost US$5.40. Even with handling and some other costs (fees), its 3 times higher than the stamp price.
[Edit]
After sending a message regarding this shipping price, they promptly offered me a refund.
Really nice. This review was modified by its author, skip-br, on

Just received a computer fan from this website. One of the three wire connectors was cut off. Trying to get an RMA or refund on it. Will never buy from this company again. Here is a picture of it:

5-19-08: Received the RMA'd part today. I still think it's unacceptable for a company that hand sleeve's their fans, and has two signatures of quality control on my order receipt to ship me a defective part. This review was modified by its author, j3ff86, on

Having finally committed myself to buying a Deck Legend Keyboard, I decided to look for resellers that shipped to Canada, since Deck does not ship outside of the United States. I came upon Performance-PC's, and decided that I would order the keyboard from them.
I placed the order on Sunday April 26th, and it shipped out on April 27th! I was very impressed with the speed of their shipping, and even more impressed with their customer service. I had two questions about the order, which they cordially replied to within the hour.
I had chosen to ship with USPS because of my positive experiences with them, but I chose USPS Priority International (6-10 day shipping) as it was the most economical choice for me.
Fully expecting it to take more than one week, I patiently awaited its arrival and checked the tracking number that was given to me by Performance-PC's. I received a pleasant surprise when I found out it had cleared customs by thursday of the same week!
In turn, I received the package on Friday, and then I discovered why it arrived so quickly. It was shipped USPS EMS Express (5 day shipping)! Talk about exceptional customer service. The packaging was also top notch, with the keyboard box snugly tucked within the shipping box, surrounded by a generous amount of loosefill peanuts.
In short, these guys were great, the keyboard is fantastic, and they are the ones that made it possible for me to attain it. I'm glad I chose Performance-PC's, and whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, courteous reseller. This review was modified by its author, RenegadeCSR, on

I placed an order with this compnay and when I recieved my package there was 10 female fan molex fitting's missing I sent them an email telling them of the shortage they promptly answered saying that if there were two signatures on the invoice I recieved the parts. I told them that I diden't recieve them. After this I could see this was going nowhere so I told them to not worry about it. I hate writing reviews especially when they are negative. The more I thought about it I decided to post this the total of the missing items is $2.90 not a big deal. When I told them to forget it I thought they would at least offer to ship the missing part's but they diden't. It makes me think they think I am lying If I was going to try and scam them out of something it'snot gonig to be for $2.90. I could contest the charge on my credit card but for this amount it isn't worth the hassel. I'll have to think twice before I order from them again.

In the spirit of free & constructive speech.
Sales communication can be on the quirky side; PcP's tech-no-gal seems fine n' dandy when allowed to contact her.
She doesn't mind, don't get Me wrong.
The deal with this incident was:
Custom
Order wasn't completely fullfilled; order included 3 sets or 12 pins, received only 3; requested a 9 pin supplement; the reply, take what we give U, U get no more; we -will not- offer more pins than connectors; if Pcp can break 3 pins from a 4 set, why not?
however, sales did take out the time to type up Ur wrong, we are right messages; I personally prefer tips for mod crimping myself, sales claimed they didn't have time for this; go figure. Something is missing when a shop can offer a virtual hideout reporter, sleeving lessons, snapshots, a personal escort, & sushi, but doesn't want to mail & complains about 9 missing pins that were paid for. It's fine that they seem to do customers right most of the time... but why not all the time?

Super FAST SHIPPING! This is my first time order from this store. Certain item i want was unable to find in other stores, but this store carry it. I placed the order about 11:50 am and guess what i received an email @ 1:39 pm confirming my order was ready to ship with UPS tracking #. And the Shipping cost by UPS ground was very reasonable considering order a few items in one order. I'd strongly recommend this store to anyone.

i just ordered something from performance-pcs.com hoping for a good experience since they had good reseller ratings. unfortunately my order did not go so well. I ordered a logitech g15 keyboard, funcpad archetype 1030, and mouse feet for my mx1000 mouse. I ordered on 12/26 and received the package on 01/03. As soon as i opened my front door and saw the package there i knew something wasn't quite right as the box was not shaped in a way where it could contain a keyboard.
I proceeded to open up the box and all that was in there was the funcpad, the mouse feet, and a lot of bubble wrap. I immediately called the number on the invoice and talked to someone there. They took my information and said they would look into. I had to run an errand and when i returned there was a message waiting for me.
It stated that the packaging guys had mis-read the invoice and thought the g15 was actually the g5 laser mouse and they had packed that instead of the keyboard. they would send me a return shipping label to send it back to them. The only problem with that was there was no g5 laser mouse in the box.
So i called them back to explain that i only received my mousepad and mouse feet and that there was nothing else in the box, no g5 mouse, no g15 keyboard. The person on the phone then proceeded to argue with me that the packing guys remembered putting it in there and he didn't know what to tell me. Well i of course didn't know what to tell them as there was no mouse in the box.
he then mentioned something about the weight of the package they had on record would match what the package would weigh with a mouse in it. so i volunteered to go weigh my package to try and prove to them that there was no mouse in there.
luckily we ship out DHL from my work so we had a shipping scale there, so i loaded everything i had received plus my digital camera and sent off to work to weigh the package for them. When i got to work i called them back and let them know the weight of everything was 3.75 lbs and the UPS label listed 4lbs, so that was all right. They then had me weigh everything separately giving them each weight. somehow they miscalculated the weight of the box+bubble wrap (1.6lbs) and the difference was the weight of the mouse....
finally after 1.5 hours of wasted time they "believed" me (i put that in quotes since i doubt they actually did believe me, and they declined to have me take a video of everything to send as more proof which i was prepared to do) and said they would ship out the missing keyboard to me. i asked them if they could at least ship it out overnight for me since not only did i not receive a product i had ordered but i was accused of being shipped something that i was not and trying to hide it and had to waste my gas to drive back to work to weigh everything to prove it to them. the best they could do for me was send it priority mail...
i received my g15 3 days later so all is well with the world now, and its a very sweet keyboard by the way.
all in all i will not be ordering from them again because of this, and here is my story for anyone else that might take it into consideration on whether to order from them or not.
UPDATE: I did get a call from a customer service person of this site and they apologized for the problems i had encountered and offered me a gift certificate to their store as compensation for the trouble i went though. So while i did have a bad experiences they at least tried to make up for it. This review was modified by its author, theblackangel, on

After dealing with many other online etailers, I read some reviews on cases with an eye for suppliers as well as the reviewed case. One name kept popping up regardless of the reviews and that was Performance PC's.
I sent them a couple of emails before purchase and they were responded to quickly and courteously. I placed an order for a Lian Li PC-V1000B Plus II with window on October 16th. It arrived a couple of hours ago on October 18th and after spending that time examining the packing and product, I can say without reservation that I have found a new home for my performance products!
Keep up the great work Hank! The superb reputation you and your business have has been well earned. I will not only order again but will recommend this company to anyone that is serious about their performance PC's!
UPDATE 10/26/2006: Made and received a second order of 10 small items (specialty fans, custom cables, etc.) and as usual, the packing and shipping was second to none.
Due to a supplier providing Hank with an incorrect/duplicate part number, an SATA I cable was sent instead of the desired SATA II. Contacted Hank and you guessed it - Imediate problem resolution.
People, it doesn't get better than this. If you need items that they carry or custom work done, you're wasting your time dealing with anyone else besides Hank and his crew!

First time buyer, bought the Watercooled LianLi G70B case...Could not be happier. They promptly responded to all my emails, and when I wanted a certain mod that was not listed in the page, Hank went in and added it for me!
Their sleeving job is one of the best out there, the modding is very clean and professional looking. A+++, will buy again. This review was modified by its author, dcassidy36, on

The following is an email I sent to thank Performance-PCs regarding my order. I had them modify a Lian-Li 6070B PlusII. There were some upgrades on this model that weren't apparent on the website.....
Man, I am impressed to say the least. I got a call at home this morning
from James regarding my order. He was very nice to point out the new
changes in the Lian-Li 6070 and just what I should expect to receive. He
asked very specific questions about what I had planned for the case and
where I had planned to place things I had ordered.
Talk about custom work.....We also had a conversation about an overage on my
payment; this was applied to shipping and James arranged for me to have
three day shipping on my order.
Look.....you cant buy this kind of personal attention to detail.....He even
called me back this afternoon to let me know the order was ready for
shipment.
You guys treated me like I ordered 3000 dollars worth of stuff instead of 300.
Needless to say.....from now on, I'm going to check your site first for
anything I need.......
I still cant get over the extra care I got with my order today.
James called my house twice to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They even installed items in the case that I had planned on just being sent to me separately. I had called the Friday before to ask questions and each was answered with courtesy and the advice was spot on.
Simply put, I was treated like someone who was a premium customer, not just a guy making an order. I cant say enough about the quality treatment I was given.

AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST.
The staff in Performance-PCs.com threatens me to blacklist me, sending my personal information to all major online resellers, only because I have left them a negative rating.
You are satisfied with their service? But when you have problems with your order, expect to have ridiculous response.
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THE BELOW BEFORE BUYING FROM PERFORMANCE-PCS.com. THERE ARE MANY BETTER SHOPS OUT THERE, WHY PAY MONEY AND GET RUDE UNHELPFUL REPLIES WHEN YOUR ORDER IS HAVING PROBLEMS?? AND THEY WILL EVEN EXPOSE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS TO THE PUBLIC!!
I don't really cared about money, I bought $43 items, 2.0 lbs in weight, paid $34 shipping just wanted to get it fast, and it took 6 days (GEM usually takes 3-4 days) to arrive. I wrote to complain and gets very rude replies, and their staff even tried to bribe me for a full shipping refund, to have their review changed. Delayed delivery time, high shipping cost, all no problem. It was their crappy attitude, rude replies, unhelpful staff whose ruining this company.
This company, if you post a negative review, they will first try to bribe you with fake refunds, USPS will not do refunds, and yet their staff sent me an email telling me they would be able to get me a shipping refund, I ignored it simply because the problem is no longer the money, it was their attitude on how to treat their customers. They never tried to be nice until I left a negative review. Their staff is changing their faces every other minute.
ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP, there are many many good shops out there, why pay money and get your name and address exposed? And this shop is obviouly running by a non-educated childish guy.
Their staff posted my name and residential address right here at the Resellerratings, but I have already filed several complaints and will definitely follow up with the authorities. Possible scam and spam, if you shop with this company. Luckily I paid with Paypal, otherwise unexpected things might happen.
Please, shop with other better shops. I bought Prometeia, Vapochill, watercooling, from all over the world, this is the worse kind of shop you can encounter in your lifetime, AVOID IT. This review was modified by its author, jimyen, on

This person is an obnoxious troublemaker, a liar, and as you can gather from this eval a stark raving lunatic. Ask yourself one question; how can all these other customers have such good experiences with Performance-PCs.com? And this person thinks they can get you to avoid our store because of his one silly and childish temper tandrum?
Here is the truth on the order with all evidence displayed so you can ignore all the lies above:
Order was shipped first day back from weekend and sent Global Express Mail (See tracking number that it is a Global Express tracking number, what was paid for):
http://www.endicia.com/status.cfm?pic=EV974070621US
Order arrived there in 5 business days which is very common for this service. Global Express Mail is not a guaranteed delivery service like UPS. See USPS facts here: http://tinyurl.com/h6d7o
*Not a guaranteed service. Global Express Mail™ (GEM) items are not insured against delay in delivery.
Person emailed numerous times each day claiming he should have got the package in 3 days, demanding a refund on shipping, and claiming we ripped him off. Person is trying to backmail our company for a refund by posting a Negative eval here at Resellerratings.
Reselleratings has been notified of this blackmail as Performance PC's did nothing wrong on this order.
To Resellers: Please email us to receive this persons name and address so you do not have to go through this idiocy. |

I was offered my money back. This review was modified by its author, markkleb, on
