I ordered the product in question (Dreamcast VGA Adapter) on March 9th and my problem is that I have not received my product yet. My credit card has been charged as of March 9th and even though I paid them for 2-day EXPRESS delivery of the product I am here almost 3 months from when ordered the product and have yet to receive it. What angers me even more is the fact that I have e-mailed them through the only way they allow which is through their website and have NOT received a response to either of the e-mails. I have not received a tracking number or any other type of documentation to tell me that my order is being serviced. I have also called the number listed on the Better Business Bureau website to only receive smug attitudes toward customer relations as well as a long-distance maze of nothing but dead-ends. When I called them and actually got an answer I asked if I could check on an order that I had placed almost 3 months ago. The man on the other end of the phone told me I would have to call another number in a very disgusted tone. I then had to ask him for that number. I got the number and called it to receive nothing but a busy tone (I called almost nine times to receive the same busy signal). I then called the first number AGAIN and received a second number to call for the information that I was requesting. I proceeded to call this number and received an automated information line that was only for answering obvious questions and when I pressed 2 for order information I received a message telling me that I would get speedier service if I e-mailed them through their website. Funny, I already did that TWICE and received NO replies after three months. I feel that enough people have been screwed by this horrible company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!I don't believe they are in the business of helping people as much as they are hurting people.

I never received my order. It is impossible to reach this operation by phone, and they do not respond to e-mail requests, which I have sent 3 of. They have my money, but I do not have my games. Stay away!

I placed an order with Buy Rite on 26th April. On May 1st received an auto response saying my order would be shipped shortly on. On the May 2nd they debitted my Credit Card. It is now May 16th I have emailed them several times between May 8th to the present asking for a tracking number and received no response in return. I have tried to call several occasions and have been met with either a busy line or been on endless hold. DO NOT BUY from this company!!!!!!

I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL ITEMS FROM BUY RITE VIDEO GAMES, AND THEY NEVER SHIP NOTHING TO YOU. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF FILING FRAUD WITH MY BANK AGAINST THESE PEOPLE...DO NOT BUY NOTHING FROM THIS COMPANY...THEY ARE COMPLETE LOSERS..NEVER BUY FROM THEM

Do not order anything from Buy-Rite video games, they take your money as fast as you place your order but don't send you anything, this company is crooked. If you're lucky you may get what you order but don't count on it. Save yourself the trouble, pay the extra money and buy else where, it's a hassle to get a refund from Buy Rite.
I placed an order from Buy-Rite video games because of their wide selection and some hard to find systems. I put an order in for a Sega Saturn Bundle & Marvel vs Capcom 2 for Dreamcast, with a total of $161.16. After 1 week had passed I had no Tracking numbers and no packages from them and I had recieved my credit card statment for the month and they charged me the day I placed the order.
So I tried to call up their company but the number they provided was no longer in service with them. I then attempted to Email them trying to find out the status of my order but no replies for 2 weeks. I finally got a reply saying that they were experiencing bad weather and they could not ship anything out and that they would be shipping out my order the next day. I waited 1 more week with no tracking numbers or confirmation emails about my package. I sent them another email and they replied that it had been shipped out ups the day before and would be there in 3 days, I waited and still nothing, I emailed them one last time and they replied that they were out of stock and were getting a new shipment within a week. I emailed them telling them that I wanted my money back but they never replied.
After a month had passed and no refund I contacted the better business bureau and after 2 months I finally got my refund.
Its companies like this who give internet shopping a bad name. At the time Buy Rite video games was not on Resellers rating but I submitted it in hopes to prevent anyone from buying from them again.

Placed order online but did not receive any email back confirming order placement. I emailed them multiple times and I finally heard back 3 days later. I had already ordered the items from a different reseller and wanted to cancel the order but could not reach any one. No contact # to call which is very suspicious. They just went ahead and charged my card the day I placed the order and sent it out charging me a ridiculously high shipping charge and it was only USPS and not even UPS or FedEx. This company is the worst. Don't even bother w/ them! I'm not the only one as you can tell from ALL the other reviews. Only negative reviews for this company and not a single good review. That should tell you something.

AARRRGGHHH!!!! What a painful process. This company is the pits. I placed a pre-order on March 20th in expectation that my order will ship on the release date (3/27/03). It is April 10th and I have not yet received my order. I call 3 times a day and get lied to constantly. Mike, Chris, Lyn, and the manager Steve were very rude and uncaring about my order. This company should be shut down. They have no idea of customer service!!!!!!

i work for a gaming company and several of our employees including myself have recently purchased games from buyrite.net and all of our orders had problems: my game arrived extremely late despite requesting 1-2 day shipping. basically i paid $20 extra and got the game a week after i ordered it. others have been charged for games that weren't actually in stock and others had the price of their order increased without their knowledge. we've all agreed never to do business with them again...

Ordered Brigandine from them over a month ago for the PS1. Paid via paypal. I've emailed them three times with no response and called. No luck. Don't buy from them.

I have ordered three times from this company.. I don't know why I keep ordering from them because they SUCK.
Each time they've screwed up my order. The last order I did, it was on Dec. 11th. I ordered 4 things (2 large things which made the shipping $40 for ground). Anyway, they shipped ONE of the FOUR things I ordered, canceled the others w/o telling me (all were supposedly in stock on their site). And they still charged me $40! On top of that, they said they would ship me one of the 2 games I ordered (it was just on back order) but it hasn't come yet and I've still been charged. I have waited long enough and I will be calling them back and complaining.

Fradulant company, charged my credit card even though product was never in stock. Still have not received product they say it has been sent. I paid for overnight that was 2 weeks ago!

I placed an order online for FFX. After working through all of their information screens several times, I finally got my shipping and billing addresses correct (seperate addresses). My order never arrived, yet I was still billed for it. I attempted to contact the company on the phone, but their automated answering system WILL NOT let you talk to a live person. I sent several emails explaining the situation. They were all replied to in a very rude manner, and I was informed that they only deliver to the billing address.
The address that was they got was a combination of both addresses (since the site doesn't work correctly), and therefore didn't exist. They told me that they would have to do a follow up with UPS and that is would "take some time". I sent them a screen shot showing how their order confirmation page told me that my billing/shipping addresses were seperate and correct, and I got an email back from them saying "we dont open attachments". Over a year has passed and I still have yet to get my merchandise or a credit on my credit card.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Purchased Eternal Darkness for $19.99 and when it arrived I found out it was used and does NOT even have the box!!! Nowhere on the site did it explain I was getting a used game. Only that is was their 50% off special. They also never answer the emails so I will be contacting the BBB and disputing the charges on my credit card. Ridiculous. This review was modified by its author, oghowie, on
