I needed oxygen sensors for my 1997 Toyota 4runner. I live in Canada and when my mechanic told me what they wanted for them I told him I wanted to shop around. I went to many Canadian online sites and they were asking almost as much as my mechanic had quoted me. I then found your site. It was very easy to use. I placed my order very late on a Monday evening and I had my parts at 9 am on Thursday. Your prices were excellent! In fact I got both sensors for less than one cost here. Generally buying parts through Rock Auto is great. Their service is good, their prices are good and if they have wholesaler closeout on a part, the price is great. I will continue to use them in the future, probably often. A negative is that in some cases - not always, but too frequent it seems to me - shipping is charged twice when buying two of the same part. The parts can be lightweight, like brake hoses (< 2 lbs), so weight does not trigger it. I have ordered two heavy parts, like calipers (12 lbs) and the shipping is half of what it is for two of the same part number on brake hoses. I have not been satisfied with the explanations I have received for this. Someone in the chain is charging shipping on the second part when there isn't any.
Great service, great selection. Love that it shows how many different points the order was coming from and allowed me to change my choices to get everything from one location and save on the shipping. Great site!
Rockauto always has the best prices on the net for car parts. Their shipping is very quick too. I ordered a part on 9/19 hoping that I would have it before the weekend and I got it on 9/21 (Friday). Very happy with this company.
Rock Auto's web site is easy to navigate and I especially like being offered multiple choices with regard to brand and grade for each specific part. I don't like to buy from unknown parts manufacturers whose quality is unknown or poor so Rock Auto's selection of quality brand parts that I'm familiar with is awesome. Even with the shipping charges, their pricing beat my local sources by a substantial margin. All items in my order were exactly as expected and arrived in good condition. This was my first experience with Rock Auto and I will put them at the top of my list for all my future parts needs.

I now have to do a lot of comparison shopping, because they are good on some things and high on others. That, coupled with shipping costs makes it hard to justify ordering online sometimes, as my local AutoZone can nearly match the pricing, local sales tax and all...
Out of all of the orders I have ever placed with Rock Auto, they have only ever sent an incorrect part one time, on the current order which I am reviewing. I ordered several different bearings, races, and seals, and one of the bearings, while being marked correctly on the box, contained an incorrect bearing inside. Since it was just one, and the cost of returning it would have been as much as the part cost, I simply ate it and purchased another one locally. Since I'm routinely handed the wrong parts at my local auto parts store, I don't consider this one-time issue to be the norm for Rock Auto, and I will definitely use them again in the future.
