Super fast shipping, great prices. I have been using RockAuto for a number of years now and have never had a problem with quality or damaged items.
They also email me a code for 5% off my next order. Whatever I need the slection is great. This last order was for an Oil Pan an I had many manufactures to choose from. I went with the cheapest pan I could find and was very pleased when it arrived.
Absolutely outstanding service. I ordered a hard-to-find carburetor and it arrived at my door 5 days later in Canada. It came complete with gaskets, including an unusual O-ring that sits between the carb and manifold. I installed the carb and didn't have to make any adjustments, even idle speed. Incredible!
Some of us have vehicles hat the dealers have difficulty obtaining parts for. And then usually they have overpriced the parts to the point when you can't afford to get your vehicle fixed.
It's nice to see a company that is not only able to obtain the parts, but is able to offer them at a price you can afford. Yes, there are several national companies that claim to offer competitive pricing, but Rock Auto has many of them beat.
I did excessive competitive pricing online for a few parts for my 1997 Ford Crown Victoria. And Rock Auto beat everyone's pricing, including the local recyclable yards. And the big PLUS is that the parts I purchased from Rock Auto have a warranty to boot. Thanks, Rock Auto, for being there when I needed you.
This is my third order with them, and just like the previous orders, shipping was reasonably priced and FAST. To top it off, their prices usually beat my local parts stores. I have nothing but good to say about them.
I attempted to place an order on the RockAuto.com website this past weekend that resulted in problems that the company was unwilling to admit to or reimburse me for. After selecting the part I wanted to buy, I came to the page requesting my address and billing information. I filled out all the info and clicked the "Place Order" button. I was immediately returned to the same screen with a message saying that something was incorrect, to fix it, and click on the "Place Order" button again. Unsure what was wrong, I tried about 4 times before I gave up. The order was never placed, but 4x the charges were reserved in my bank account, cleaning it out, making the money inaccessible, and causing another payment I had made elsewhere to bounce, resulting in $40 of fees. I had to get a fax from RockAuto sent to the bank telling them they could release the funds so that they were available again. Basically, they are authorizing the card too early in their checkout system, or not recognizing that the website is dealing with the same order after the fixes are made and the "Place Order" button is clicked again. In the end, I never did purchase the product and the company was unwilling to admit that there was a problem with their website or work to keep me as a customer. In fact, the manager pretty much stonewalled me. I'm very disappointed in their customer service and hope that they fix the issues with their website for future customers.

Credit/Debit card issuers require us to request bank approval before shipping an order. This customer's bank told us the information he submitted was not correct but withheld funds from his account anyway (and then, outrageously, charged him overdraft fees while they held his money).
There is not a problem with our website. When a customer clicks "Submit," we only ask his bank to authorize the transaction. We collect no money until an order ships. Since we didn't ship this customer anything his money never left his bank.
As his review acknowledges, we supported his effort to make his bank release his funds by sending a fax explaining that they should not be holding funds for unsuccessful order attempts. We understand why he is unhappy but his unhappiness should be directed toward his bank.
Got the radiator I needed very fast for my 93 4runner. Autozone wanted almost $350 and I bought it for $120. The only issue I have is with the customer service reps. It seems as if all of them arent on the same page I was told my item will ship from indiana one day than the next it was from new york.... and back to indiana. It did ship from indiana since I live in illinois I got it next day. I just wish they knew what was going on.

I looked everywhere for the left side door actuator for an '03 civic coupe and decided I would just use the key for the rest of the car's life since the replacement part apparantly demanded $60. That was the plan until i discovered RockAuto on ResellerRatings.com. Thank you, RockAuto, for not just having the part (more than I can say for so many other online autoparts stores), but also providing it at a super low price of 24.99. Thankyou for promp delivery and a free magnet. You guys rock. Autozone does not. Now if I can just figure out how to install it...
I needed oxygen sensors for my 1997 Toyota 4runner. I live in Canada and when my mechanic told me what they wanted for them I told him I wanted to shop around. I went to many Canadian online sites and they were asking almost as much as my mechanic had quoted me. I then found your site. It was very easy to use. I placed my order very late on a Monday evening and I had my parts at 9 am on Thursday. Your prices were excellent! In fact I got both sensors for less than one cost here. I will not hesitate to use your service again. Thanks very much!

Generally buying parts through Rock Auto is great. Their service is good, their prices are good and if they have wholesaler closeout on a part, the price is great. I will continue to use them in the future, probably often. A negative is that in some cases - not always, but too frequent it seems to me - shipping is charged twice when buying two of the same part. The parts can be lightweight, like brake hoses (< 2 lbs), so weight does not trigger it. I have ordered two heavy parts, like calipers (12 lbs) and the shipping is half of what it is for two of the same part number on brake hoses. I have not been satisfied with the explanations I have received for this. Someone in the chain is charging shipping on the second part when there isn't any.
Great service, great selection. Love that it shows how many different points the order was coming from and allowed me to change my choices to get everything from one location and save on the shipping. Great site!
Rockauto always has the best prices on the net for car parts. Their shipping is very quick too. I ordered a part on 9/19 hoping that I would have it before the weekend and I got it on 9/21 (Friday). Very happy with this company.
