The worst online purchase yet. When I ordered the brake pads on 3/21/04 it was stated that it would ship in a week or so, which is still fairly long compared to other online retailers. I waited almost a month (today is 4/20/04) until I called. The Customer Service rep told me that they were not going to get the product until 5/19/04. TWO MONTHS for a pair of brake pads?

Very dissatisfied. A week passed and my CC was still "payment pending". Called for 4 days straight with nothing done. Transferred everywhere and talked to more than 10 people. Finally talked to a manager that got my order out overnight at no extra cost. Upset that the "Customer Service" number is not customer service, but is the ordering department. Very mad that overnighting was the only thing they could do for me after SO MUCH hassle. If i could go higher to the managers managers i would.

The order tracking has no meaning, the changes in getting wrong stuff is absolutely high.  
Their email address has no good reaction time, till you have an answer and then reply on that one. Then it is good in answers and in reactiontime.  
 
The prices are VERY good (low), and the choices are also VERY GOOD.  
 
It is a pitty that the overall score is not too good because of the after sales. I am a die hard, buying from them since 1984 - first in the shop and mail, since some years also by internet.  
As said, lots of mistakes inthe shipping, but did not find a better online store!  
 

Shipping was 9.95 for a 2-ounce package sent USPS. Item description did not match item on two counts. Return policy is to not refund shipping either way.

Ordered some weatherstripping  

Easy to navigate Web site, and lots of products for most vehicles, most at competitive prices. I ordered what they call side window ventvisor/deflectors for my Honda at a price better than anywhere else ($55 versus $80 elsewhere, although Wal-Mart is the place to get them if you can find them to fit). Product was apparently drop shipped by the manufacturer and arrived in three days, although $15 for shipping of this very lightweight box with no special packaging is excessive. But I knew the shipping cost when I ordered.  
 
I guess I'd recommend J.C. Whitney if you can't find an item elsewhere for less. They've been around forever -- I bought parts from their famous catalog 30 years ago for my first car, a 1960 Morris Minor.
