THIS IS THE WORST WEBSITE TO ORDER FROM I WAS TOLD MY ORDER WOULD ARRIVE IN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS WITH STANDARD SHIPPING! IT NEVER EVEN SHIPPED OUT IN 5 DAYS!!THE MAN TOLD ME HE HAD CHEMO WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CUSTOMERS AND THEIR ORDERS!! ( BY THE WAY WHAT KIND Of BUSINESS TELLS THEIR CUSTOMERS THAT?) AND TOLD ME TO STOP ASKING QUESTIONS AFTER MY ORDER NEVER CAME THROUGH!!!! I BELIEVE THAT EVERY CUSTOMER HAS THE RIGHT TO KNOW ABOUT THEIR ORDERS AND CAN ASK As MANY QUESTONS AS THEY PLEASE. AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS AS TO WHERE MY ORDER WAS AND WHY IT HADN'T BEEN SHIPPED THE MAN (SUN KIM) TOLD ME TO STOP ASKING QUESTIONS I THEN TOLD HIM I JUST WANTED MY MONEY REFUNDED AND HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS REFUNDED ALREADY I REPEATedlY CHECKeD MY ACCOUNT! NO MONEY WAS EVER CREDITED BACK!! I EMAILED HIM AND MADE SURE HE KNEW HOW UNHAPPY I WAS AND HE WROTe ME BACK "LEARN SOME MANNERS!" I BELIEVE HE SHOULD LEARN SOME MANNERS! HE IS REPRESENTING A BUSINESS AND ObVIOUSLY TEKGEMS DOESNT KNOW THAT THE CUSTOMER IS aLWAYS RIGHT!!!!!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE IF YOU EVER HAVE A PROBLEM THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!!!!!!

The company has a policy of "no customer service". I received a defective product and called the company.I was told that they would rather have "lower prices and less customer service". The owner of the company refused to pay to have a defective product shipped back to him.He said that he doesn't have time to test all of the products that he sells, which is acceptable, but he also said that he can not stand behind the quality of any product and a consumer should expect a certain amount of defective products; it's not his problem

I ordered an ADS Tech DVDXpress. The device didn't work and I wasted many hours trying to get it to work on two different computers. I did some looking on the Web, and the consensus seems to be that this is a worthless product that has never worked as advertised.
When I reported the problem to TekGems.com, I was told that I needed to return the product to ADS Tech. ADS Tech has ignored me, so it looks like I will have to eat the cost of the product.

I ordered from TekGems an inexpensive la-pci20 raid controller. For a price of 13$ it seems to be a good deal. The card was dead on arrival but it took me three days of troubleshooting to figure it out. Since over 30 days elapsed since delivery Tekgems denied replacement. I do not recommend this seller and will not purchase from Tekgems again.

Your air kite broke when you tried to land it. That would indicate rough handling of the product not a defect in the product itself. We can not take returns on products you break. I think that is reasonable. |

I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere before buying anything from this company. I purchased three computer games, including one that was new in the box. That game has a defective CD, rendering the game useless. When I contact TekGems, I was told all sales are final. Essentially, I just handed over $6.50 and shipping to TekGems and got nothing in return. Shop somewhere else - where they sell items in working conditions and have a sense of business.

Ordered this power supply on Dec. 21, 2006 and with the holidays it took over a week to get. I did not get time to put the power supply in untile the end of the middle of January. I had problems and discovered a short in the power supply. I emailed Tek Gems on Feb 10, 2007 after discovering the short in the plugin section of the Power supply and they WOULD NOT replace because it was out of Warranty.
You decide, make sure you count the delivery time toward the warranty time from Tek Gems when ordering from them.

I normally don't complain but I never worked from the start. I tried several things thinking it was something that was not connected correctly. This is what you get for trying to be a good customer.
You said there is nothing you can do. That is not true, you can, is that you won't.

Hi, according to FedEx Ground you received your product Dec 29, 2006. Even if we started the warranty period at the time of receipt, your product would still be out of the 30 Day Warranty period. |

Hi, Im sorry but the warranty period for the product has expired.
so those product have 30 day only warrenty nothing to get replacement if you have not trie dthe product before,

Hi, we have replied to your e-mail asking you return the card for a replacement. I don't know how that translates to "canot get it replaced". We apologize if you mistook our e-mail as meaning you could not get it replaced. Your card can be replaced and we do encourage you to return it for a replacement.

We fully paid for return shipping and fully refunded including initial shipping to everyone who contacted us within 30 days. I hope you understand but we have to limit our loss at some point.
After reviewing your order, you purchased this item in November. By the time you contacted us, it had already been two months after your purchase date. We understand if it was a few days after the 30 day warranty period, but clearly two months is a very long time to wait before contacting us about an issue. For hacking XBOX 360 the VT6421A chipset is still very usable. As we explained to you previously, VT6421L chipset was switched by the VT6421A from the manufacturer without notice. |

Order processing was good, but the 11-in-1 card reader turned out to be junk. The contacts were misaligned, and the driver would not install from the CD because a file was missing.l I didn't realize at the time of purchase that all sales are final, otherwise I would have not purchased at this store.

Hi, we apologize for what seems to be a faulty CD and possibly damaged card reader. If you return the $4.50 multi card reader, we will be more than happy to send you a replacement. These are all shrink wrapped retail box items, so we did not anticipate the contacts could be misaligned. |

Bait & switch shipping tactics? I'm not sure what you're talking about. In the description for your item, we state very clearly the item only ships via UPS. When you select USPS Priority Mail and gave us a PO Box, we asked for a street address to deliver the product to. When you refused, we cancelled the order. I apologize you are upset, but the situation was handled appropriately. |

I ordered a USB handset online and got it on time, but the handset had problem and the voice quality was really bad. I tried to contact the store by phone and email few times to return or exchange the USB handset, but I got no replied. I forced me to contact my credit card company to cancel the transaction.

VOIP handset quality has nothing to do with the unit itself. It is just a USB sound card. The voice quality issue you encountered is because of your line and/or transmission route. |

Bad Merchant! VERY bad merchant! Beware!
Merchant has an address verification system which corrupted my address into a different address in a different zip code. The address constructed by their defective address verification system is unknown to me.
I did not notice the error created by their defective system until receipt of their emailed order confirmation. At this point, before they shipped my order, I immediately replied using the reply function of my email client. I advised merchant of its error. I asked merchant to correct its error.
Instead of correcting the error caused by their defective address verification system, merchant ignored my timely reply and corrective advice.
Later, when I advised merchant that I had not received the order, merchant politely told me that it had no record of my timely reply. It seems that the merchant disregards email replies to their email order confirmations.
Instead of taking responsibility for the error caused by their defective address verification system, the merchant politely suggested that I check at the unknown address created by their defective system. They politely said that I should check at the address to which I had the order sent, even when their defective address verification system had corrupted my address, creating the bogus address: all without clear notice to me.
That is, after merchant's defective address verification system created a bogus address, merchant politely took the position that I was responsible for their sending my order to the bogus address created by their defective address verification system.
Please note that several years ago I sustained traumatic brain damage. Because of this disabling injury, I cannot seek out unknwn addressees in different zip codes. This is why I purchased products via the web, rather then in a store.
If I had read reviews of this merchant before ordering from them, I would have noted that the merchant invariably blames all problems on the buyer. If I had read the reviews, I would not have purchased from this merchant whose practice is to shift all problems to the buyer.
Do not repeat my mistake!
Beware! This is a VERY bad merchant! Yes, they are polite, but VERY, VERY bad.
If your order encounters any problem--even a problem of the merchant's own creation--it seems that merchant will blame you the buyer, rather then fix the problem.

Received an OPEN BOX with damaged contents. Asked tekgems too replace the item. They refused too pay return shipping. Said "If I would like too return for an exchange it would be on MY DIME". This is a company that needs too lose customers and go out of business. I hope this review saves others the same headach and expence I went through. I will return and file a CHARGE BACK on them. They DO NOT deserve my business.
All the had too do is file a shipping claim and everything would have been taken care of. BUT they chose too make me pay too replace a damaged item that the packed POORLY!!!!

A secure box can become loose if the box surface is dirty causing the packing tape to come off or the contents are very heavy with uneven distribution thoroughout the box. A loose box can be an issue if parts are missing, but this was not the case. We do our best to pack box as securely as possible, but boxes do unravel on rare occassions.
After careful examination of the pictures (see links below), the customer's description of "damaged content" may be referring to some sort of anomaly on the underside of the computer stand. It either looks like knocky wood or a nick of some sort. Unfortunately, we do not characterize this as "damaged content".
We will send a replacement free of charge if the customer returns the original shipment.

Ordered 2 items they came via 2 seperate shipping method, one us postal service, two UPS, both items have problems, one need a serial code when none was supplied with product, second lack all approprate drivers needed to run the software.
both items useless as is, shipping cost already paid and any return shipping cost makes worthless

Complete rip off! I bought Bytecc Aluminum notebook cooler, the one that is suppose to support 17" notebook, from this loser! Guess what? It's smaller than my Hypersonic Aviator EX7 notebook so I requested a full refund. Then they said they can't give me a full refund because all of 17" notebooks come in different size so the cooler support some 17" notebook. On what part of the cooler's description stated this? NOWHERE! I hope they choke and go out of business! I'm going to file a complaint to BBB too!
