I purchased a pre-order for a game that came out on the 15th of September and paid a little extra for 3-day shipping. I got a shipment notification email on the 15th with a tracking number. Nothing came and the tracking still showed it hadn't left their facility yet. So on the 21st I sent an email asking what's going on with my package. I was told it would be arriving the next day and that it would ship that day.  
 
I don't understand how they didn't have the game to ship to me and yet sent me a shipping notification on the 15th.  
 
The next day came and went and still no update on the tracking so I sent another email on Wed saying that if it hadn't already shipped, then cancel the order and credit back the charge.  
 
I got a response saying that the game had conveniently just shipped on Wed (even though they told me it was supposed to ship on Tue). At this point they probably should have upgraded the shipping or waived the shipping charge after two separate missed shipping dates and no answers to my questions.  
 
This was not my first order to them but it will certainly be my last.

Im about finished dealing with gogamer.com  
 
They run specials from time to time advertising luring you in to get you to order through them but you will end up regretting it with their customer service if you run into any problems.  
 
After a long delay I was happy to get two different emails telling me my games shipped on Sept 8th and was given a tracking number, and my credit card charged.  
 
However, a week went by and no games were received and the tracking number just stated shipping info received any nothing more.  
 
Come to find out, they didnt actually ship it until over a week later and the tracking number finally updated to reflect this. After speaking to customer service several times they just ignore the issue and dont seem to care.  
 
My previous order I was supposed to recieve a tshirt as part of a promotion. No tshirt shipped with my package and all requests for service went unanswered.  
 
Gogamer doesnt care about customers, so they also must not care about never getting business from repeat customers.

Placed an order and then decided to cancel it. Received a confirmation email saying my request had been received and would be processed in 3-5 days. But instead, I get an email 4 hours later saying my order was shipped! So now if I refuse shipment, I will be slapped with a 10% (or minimum of $5) restocking fee.  
 
If the order process was too far along for me to cancel, their system should not have allowed me to modify my order. But it did let me submit my cancellation. GoGamer simply decided to ignore it. Will never buy from them again.

I ordered a product through Google checkout and after not receiving any communication about the order (besides that my credit card was charged), I inquired about the status about 2 weeks later. I was told that the product was not in stock and I would need to get refund. It looks like I will be getting a refund, so I hope at least that will go ok.

Don't do business with GOGAMER.COM. I ordered an "in stock" DS game, paid for overnight shipping, and finally got my order 9 days later (after three calls to "customer support.") The person on the phone was useless. All I asked was to refund my shipping charges and they haven't done that. Don't waste your time or money with this company.

I just purchased "Shadowrun" for PC that was listed as New on their website. I chose to do so because it was the cheapest I could find. Sure enough I got sent Shadowrun for PC still in the plastic and brand new. I read the reviews below and had to debate whether or not to purchase but it seems that some people get it and some don't. I ordered mine on 02/12/2008 and I got it today 02/16/2008 using their "Dirt Cheap" shipping option. All in all...I'll definitly do business with them again.

I purchased a DVD of Auntie Mame from GoGamer for a family get-together. My Visa was charged for $16.07. I did not receive the merchandise. I wrote & received two auto-acknowledge statements 12/28 & 1/02, indicating I would hear from them in 24-48 hours. There was never a follow-up. When I checked my account number, there was a tracking number and the account status was CLOSED. We did not have the movie for the theme party. I will not use GoGamer again.

So-so experience.  
 
Pros:  
Good prices sometimes  
Always received what I ordered  
 
Cons:  
Poor shipping. Packaging was non-existent, the games were just loose in a box 4 times too big for them, had clearly sustained some damage in shipping due to bouncing around in their box.  
Poor shipping. Loong processing times, sometimes up to a week.  
About 15% of the games I've ordered from them have clearly been opened. When I'm lucky, the sealing stickers have just been cut open with a knife, when I'm unlucky, the ends of the game box are torn clean off.  
About half of the games I've ordered that use the old style jewel cases have had cracked cases  
 
Other:  
So far all the open games they've sent me have been for offline games. If I ever received an open box for an online/multiplayer game, I expect that the CD Key would already be in use.

Up until now, Gogamer.com was doing a fantastic job. All of that changed when I placed an order for two copies of World in Conflict during one of their 48 hour madness promotions.  
 
I ordered on December 26th, well before a few of my friends who I notified of the deal. They ordered it too, but they only ordered one copy each.  
 
Fast forward to yesterday, Jan 3rd - my order has still not proceeded past the processing stage. One of my friends received his game three days ago. Same city, same game, except he ordered AFTER I did, and only one copy. Another friend, who was on BACKORDER status, received his shipping notification over a week ago. He's been out of town, but I can only assume he has his game already. Of course, we all chose the same shipping option.  
 
To say I've been penalized for ordering two copies would be ridiculous. Yet I can't see any reasonable reason as to why my order sat in processing for over a week. I even asked GoGamer why, and their response was "Hey, we shipped it! What are you talking about?"  
 
Well, actually..no...you didn't. I checked the tracking number with USPS and this is what it says:  
 
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 3, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date.  
 
This happens, of course, conveniently after I've lodged my question/complaint. What was it doing in processing hell for over a week? Your guess is as good as mine. According to GoGamer, there obviously isn't a problem here.  
 
They had one chance to save face in my eyes: ship my item TODAY Jan 4th with an expedited shipping option. Instead, it still sits in limbo. I'm on the verge of just canceling the whole order, but I've been looking forward to playing this game for a while.  
 
Needless to say, I am very disappointed because GoGamer previously provided great service with very competitive pricing. What a shame, as this will most likely be my last purchase there.

I use to be satisfied with GoGamer, then this happened. I ordered two older games that I'd been wanting and used their cheapest shipping method. After seeing my card charged and waiting about a month, I emailed their customer support with the order number and explained that I hadn't recieved the order and asked what can be done... Two months later I'm still waiting for an answer. Unless they provide some kind of support, I won't order from them again and will advise all my associates to stay away. They have good prices, but it seems that if something doesn't work out right you're left high and dry. C'mon GoGamer, you're better that that...right?

Ordered on 11/26 paid for overnight shipping. Web site says usaully ships in 24 hours. Later 11/26 web site says shipping complete for my order. Yet no e-mail with tracking number, or explanation for delay. 11/27 credit card charged. 11/29 send e-mail for information on order. 11/30 no e-mail reply or tracking number or package. I consider this level of service unacceptable.  
 
Edit: 12/1 Call from gogamer. My order was mistakenly shipped to another customer, and my item (Flatout)is back ordered, so the misshipped item will take a couple of days to get to me. They said they would refund the full shipping costs.  
Mistakes happen and gogamer seems to have actually spent some effort to correct things.  
 
I received item and was refunded my shipping charges as promised.

I ordered the DVD Hard Case version of No One Lives Forever 2. Instead they sent me the game in paper sleeves, and when I inquired about it, said that they didn't think I'd mind. I asked for a refund or replacement, with no response over two weeks. Other items I have ordered from them have arrived broken or otherwise damaged.

Great prices, with very fast order processing and delivery. I've ordered a number of times from this company and have never had any problems. A couple times I've ordered in the morning and my order was shipped the same day. You can find a lot of great deals in their 48 Hour Madness sales. In addition they often throw in little trinkets into orders (pens, CD opener, candy, mouse pad), which is a nice touch. My only complaint is not being able to order pre-order items along with current items. Instead you need to create two separate orders. Not a large problem, but a bit of a hassle.
