Poor customer service, sent 2 separate emails asking why my purchase has not shipped after 2 weeks, when it says it ships in 24 hrs. and both responses, were the same generic generated response to both emails that I sent to them, will not ever purchase from them again. All they needed to do, was take a minute to answer my question, and I guess that was asking too much from them.

Purchased from them before without any problems but this time I bought a game that was part of their 48-hour madness sale. Received order confirmation. The next morning, received email stating order has been automatically cancelled without any proper explaination. i tried to order it again and again it was cancelled.  
tried to order someone else 3 days later and it was cancelled as well. finally received a reply stating they had difficulties obtaining authorization even though i use this credit card almost every day.

PROS: I got a good deal on a TrackIR 5 & Rise of Flight combo.  
 
CONS: They don't update their order status as quickly as they should. They don't explain some of their statuses--for example, mine is showing a status of "sourced", but clicking on the status link doesn't show any such status. Their shipping department really needs some work. Three days ago my order changed to "shipped", yet there is no USPS tracking number. Moreover, it was "shipped" from a warehouse about 15 miles from me and still hasn't arrived. Which leaves me to believe that it really did not "ship". It makes me feel like they are not being completely honest about how fast their orders are going out. I'm saving 10% on the bundle, but for less hassle somewhere else I would have happily paid the extra 10%.  
 
Their customer service number is difficult to find--for the record it is 888-948-9661.  
 
I would probably not purchase anything else from this merchant until they improve their order and delivery system.

I purchased a pre-order for a game that came out on the 15th of September and paid a little extra for 3-day shipping. I got a shipment notification email on the 15th with a tracking number. Nothing came and the tracking still showed it hadn't left their facility yet. So on the 21st I sent an email asking what's going on with my package. I was told it would be arriving the next day and that it would ship that day.  
 
I don't understand how they didn't have the game to ship to me and yet sent me a shipping notification on the 15th.  
 
The next day came and went and still no update on the tracking so I sent another email on Wed saying that if it hadn't already shipped, then cancel the order and credit back the charge.  
 
I got a response saying that the game had conveniently just shipped on Wed (even though they told me it was supposed to ship on Tue). At this point they probably should have upgraded the shipping or waived the shipping charge after two separate missed shipping dates and no answers to my questions.  
 
This was not my first order to them but it will certainly be my last.

Im about finished dealing with gogamer.com  
 
They run specials from time to time advertising luring you in to get you to order through them but you will end up regretting it with their customer service if you run into any problems.  
 
After a long delay I was happy to get two different emails telling me my games shipped on Sept 8th and was given a tracking number, and my credit card charged.  
 
However, a week went by and no games were received and the tracking number just stated shipping info received any nothing more.  
 
Come to find out, they didnt actually ship it until over a week later and the tracking number finally updated to reflect this. After speaking to customer service several times they just ignore the issue and dont seem to care.  
 
My previous order I was supposed to recieve a tshirt as part of a promotion. No tshirt shipped with my package and all requests for service went unanswered.  
 
Gogamer doesnt care about customers, so they also must not care about never getting business from repeat customers.

Placed an order and then decided to cancel it. Received a confirmation email saying my request had been received and would be processed in 3-5 days. But instead, I get an email 4 hours later saying my order was shipped! So now if I refuse shipment, I will be slapped with a 10% (or minimum of $5) restocking fee.  
 
If the order process was too far along for me to cancel, their system should not have allowed me to modify my order. But it did let me submit my cancellation. GoGamer simply decided to ignore it. Will never buy from them again.

I ordered a product through Google checkout and after not receiving any communication about the order (besides that my credit card was charged), I inquired about the status about 2 weeks later. I was told that the product was not in stock and I would need to get refund. It looks like I will be getting a refund, so I hope at least that will go ok.

Don't do business with GOGAMER.COM. I ordered an "in stock" DS game, paid for overnight shipping, and finally got my order 9 days later (after three calls to "customer support.") The person on the phone was useless. All I asked was to refund my shipping charges and they haven't done that. Don't waste your time or money with this company.

Extremely upset! I placed an order on June 16, 2008, and it is currently June 28 and still no shipment! No shipping information because it was sent via USPS. No phone number to reach them and talk to a human being, just email. And when they get back to you, all they say is that it was shipped. I feel hopeless.  
 
Cheap prices, but terrible service. It's not worth the trouble.

I recently attempted to order a copy of gears of war from GoGamer.com. It was listed as in stock and my credit card was immediately charged. A couple days later I got an email saying that it was now out of stock and that I could cancel my order if I wanted. I wasn't in a hurry so I waited. Today I get an email from them a month later saying my order has been successfully canceled. That's funny because I never canceled it. I'm quite frustrated and am now waiting to see if they credit my account with the money they took from me over a month ago.  
 
Before I came here to write their review I went to their site to leave feedback. Conveniently enough they have a forum link at the top which links to no where. It just doesn't work... shady.  
 
I recommend you stay away from GoGamer.com.

GoGamer took order then weeks later emailed me stating I cancelled the order. Which wasn't true. After emailing customer service, they emailed back apologizing for the cancellation but the item is no longer available on our site and your order has been canceled. Now GoGamer website is down.

I purchased a DVD of Auntie Mame from GoGamer for a family get-together. My Visa was charged for $16.07. I did not receive the merchandise. I wrote & received two auto-acknowledge statements 12/28 & 1/02, indicating I would hear from them in 24-48 hours. There was never a follow-up. When I checked my account number, there was a tracking number and the account status was CLOSED. We did not have the movie for the theme party. I will not use GoGamer again.

Up until now, Gogamer.com was doing a fantastic job. All of that changed when I placed an order for two copies of World in Conflict during one of their 48 hour madness promotions.  
 
I ordered on December 26th, well before a few of my friends who I notified of the deal. They ordered it too, but they only ordered one copy each.  
 
Fast forward to yesterday, Jan 3rd - my order has still not proceeded past the processing stage. One of my friends received his game three days ago. Same city, same game, except he ordered AFTER I did, and only one copy. Another friend, who was on BACKORDER status, received his shipping notification over a week ago. He's been out of town, but I can only assume he has his game already. Of course, we all chose the same shipping option.  
 
To say I've been penalized for ordering two copies would be ridiculous. Yet I can't see any reasonable reason as to why my order sat in processing for over a week. I even asked GoGamer why, and their response was "Hey, we shipped it! What are you talking about?"  
 
Well, actually..no...you didn't. I checked the tracking number with USPS and this is what it says:  
 
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 3, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date.  
 
This happens, of course, conveniently after I've lodged my question/complaint. What was it doing in processing hell for over a week? Your guess is as good as mine. According to GoGamer, there obviously isn't a problem here.  
 
They had one chance to save face in my eyes: ship my item TODAY Jan 4th with an expedited shipping option. Instead, it still sits in limbo. I'm on the verge of just canceling the whole order, but I've been looking forward to playing this game for a while.  
 
Needless to say, I am very disappointed because GoGamer previously provided great service with very competitive pricing. What a shame, as this will most likely be my last purchase there.

I pre ordered Rockband Special Edition for ps2 they sent me an email confirming my purchase etc... Then on 12/29/07 at 2:40am they issue a charge to my credit card then at 2:42am still on 12/29/07 they send me an email telling me that they have cancelled my order because they were unable to veryify any information on my order (ph #, address, etc) how can they charge my card then turn around and cancel the order saying that they couldn't verify anything??? I have tried a phone number that I found in google search and all I get is no one is available to take your call right now... No response to my email. Will wait and see what happens but have notified my bank of this so they are aware and willing to help me.

I bought the game Crysis from Gogamer.com for $39.99 in late June 2007. I had to wait about 5 months for it to ship (which was expected). On the day it was released, Gogamer.com sent me an email telling me my order was canceled. I couldn't call them (no phone number is listed on their website). Over several days I finally discovered that they canceled my order because the end date of my credit card had changed (I got new a new card since the old one was 3 years old). I had updated my account with Gogamer.com but they DIDN'T use my new information. They insisted on using my old info and canceling my order. I asked them to please use my new info. They said I hadn't updated it on their site (not true). I pointed out that I had. Then they said it was too late but I could reorder it for $10 more.  
 
I will NEVER do business with them again. This is a terrible way to treat consumers. They deserve to go out of business.
