DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY
I placed an order with this company for a large amount of items that I was told were in stock. About 2 weeks after my order, I was asked to send payment and at the time all of the items were in stock. A week later when I called to check the status of my order I was informed that half of the merchandise was NOT in stock and this was 2 weeks before Christmas. I ended up stopping payment on the checks I sent because I did not want to pay for merchandise that I was not going to receive.
I had read bad reviews of this company and decided to go ahead and place an order anyway. Please listen to these comments, they are true and have been for everyone I know that has worked with this company.

It is Oct. 31, and I am still waiting for my merchandise. I have called and spoken to the on several occasions and it simply appers the right hand does not know what the left hand does. One person tells you one thing, while someone else tells you something else. Still no merchandise. The company has terrible Customer service and very poor follow thru. Still I wait for my merchandise...................

I let my mother use my account to purchase from these people and what a mess it turned out to be. She paid for the order in full to them and told the customer rep if it could not be sent by exact date then cancel entire order. Well guess what? They sent 1-2 pieces at a time and charged her for shipping/handling on each order even though she already paid for the entire order. Thats what this company does, they never have your entire order in stock so they bill you for each piece then bang you more for s/h. She called so many times and complained since she didnt want my account screwed up and they basically told her nobody had permission to promise her a delivery date and nothing they can do about the s/h charges. Not to mention they tried sending her wrong items and charging her for them. I wrote to them and told them to shove the account up their as* and I will not pay them another cent. I will never purchase from these people again. Also check out ripoffreport.com check out their rating over there. All these customers cant be wrong. They are lucky it was my mother not me because i would be documenting everything and filing charges with BBB and Consumer Affairs and even Atty General in their state for their business practices. I'm sure theyre already on their list so i wont bother at this point.

This company has always shipped what we have odered although the average time from order placement to items received is about 2 months, never less than 6 weeks, and as long as 4 months. I recommend not prepaying (use C.O.D) and pay for only the items received as an order never comes complete in 1 shipment. Refer all problems to the BBB as anything else will not yield results.

We ordered 21 items 12/4/05. After several rude customer service people, and a week and a half with no shipping, we spoke to a male who CLAIMED he was a supervisor and said we would receive our shipment by Christmas. This was on 12/19/05. He said we would have to pay an extra $13 for shipping, and we agreed because these items were Christmas gifts for our 2 young children. Only 3 things arrived by Christmas, so we had to lie to our children about where the rest of Santa's gifts were. The last item did not arrive until 52 days after the original order, which we PAID FOR on 12/4/05. We spent $205, and were charged $150 for shipping. When we called to complain and inform them that we would not be paying for shipping, as they did not follow through on their word, the manager was actually yelling at us and telling us we were liars - they don't even HAVE any male supervisors, and what's more, there is no record of our numerous phone calls. What I recommend to ALL of you, is to go the Better Business Bureau website and report them; I did it last week and already our ABC account online has been credited $100 of the shipping. I thought it was just me having all these issues with this company. I'm so glad I found this site. WHEW! I just closed my account after starting to receive collection notices for items I ordered in November for Christmas and STILL hadn't received until January. ARGH! Is Lakeside better, even though it's a sister company?

This is my third purchase from ABC, I have been pleased with everything I've purchased. I do say that sometimes shipping time is a little lengthy, however I have taken this into account for new purchases. I allow at least a week for delivery, overnight or any speedier method of shipping is not offered.

did christmas items till dec 29 when they tell you must oder by dec 15 to get them by xmas when you look to see if they shiped you get a fedex # it go ca to fl and than you a new fedex# they change the items that is to ship week after they tell it is ship and they did not 20 out 30 things that they mark as ship you call they put you on hole for a min of 35 min max of 1 hr and if you get to the 1 hr point they hang up on you when ask where your items are they tell you they where ship and they do not what is shiped that is up to shiping dep. but you can talk to them the worst place to ever

I have never ordered an item from this company, nor received an invoice; however, I just received a collection notice from Pinnacle Financial Group on their behalf for $39.02.

im so disappointed with this company.i could go on and on why i would never order from them again, but it would take a while. if you are smart, try some other company before you order from abc.i never received my order. i finally gave up. you cant get thru to them to find out what was going on either. good luck if you order.

THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!!!! I ordered last year from ABC and I didn't receive my package at all. Nothing but a card saying it had been cancelled because the item was no longer available, 2 days after the delivery date. I decided to give them one more try. NO LUCK!!! I ordered on the 4th of DEC. and have been told each time I call that the order is being shipped that day, each call lasting over 45 minutes on hold!! Rude customer service personel that are of no help until today when I finally got someone on the phone and I cancelled the order. Thank God that I didn't pay for this up front....I would never get my money back at this rate.

Terrible customer service! No toll free # so when you are calling to complain about your order not arriving you have to pay a heafty phone bill if you don't live in the area. No e-mail contact. Website is not working more than its working. Orders always late, backordered, or lost. If you order a product and they run out you don't get a call or e-mail, they send you a post card letting you know about a day before you need it or after. Order status is always saying its in the shipping process, yet it will soon change to backordered. Orders always came FedEx until right before Christmas they decided to ship all of mine parcel post. Order shipped on 12/6/05 still hasn't arrived yet order shipped on 12/12/05 same way arrived 2 days ago. Can't track because its parcel post. Tracking # given on site isn't a valid one for USPS.

OK 1st off I am so angry that if I could get to the corporate office they would be paying me money. I placed my order 11/29/05. It is now 12/21/05 4 days before Christmas and STILL no delivery. I have called ABC Distirubting numerous times and each time I call I find that thier delays put me in a position to have to cancel items due to running out of stock, not to mention the lies about the items being shipped when Fed Ex clearly hasnt even picked up to make a dleivery yet. They show that they sent data to Fed ex 12/06/05 yet the items are out of stock some of them and the others have not yet been picked up. Im sorry I have dealt with Fed ex for numerous years and I fail to believe this is thier error. I already told 3 supervisors if my items are not received before Christmas I am not signing for them and they can stick them up thier butts. Not to mention the ornaments for a tree that wont be up but 1 more week. Who needs them now......BOY I AM PISSED and will have not a good thing to say about them to anyone. Now on the other hand LTD is much better in this area. Hard to believe they are sister companies..HA HA HA

I placed an order in the beginging of Dec. Still have not recieved anything, Called them at 305-944-6900 was on hold 25 min and they said all items were shipped. Called fed ex they said they didnt have any of my packages. Called ABC back at 305-944-6900 and they told me they were waiting for fed ex to pickup. Called fed ex back and they said "it looks like we dont have toses packages in our posession". I don't know who is messing up but according to ABC, everything was shipped as of today and should receive them this week. Fed ex dosnt have them! Havnt had payment problems as I wait until I receive my bill, theres no way I'll pay them until I get my s***.
Havn't had web page problems except that it says my packages have been transmitted to fed ex forever. So is it ABC or Fed ex? Miami sucks!

Ordered December 7, still waiting on package to be picked up by FedEx. I have been charged for the 2 cookbooks, but the website is worthless for anything except pissing you off. DO NOT buy from this company. Also, their phones do not work. I have (305) 944-6971 and (305) 944-6200. Does anyone have any numbers for them that WORK?
