After searching 20 pages worth of great feedback. I was still concerned because I had a time constraint that had to be met. However I ordered our laptop anyway. To say I was surprised would be putting it way to lightly. I received the computer a day earlier than promised. I will definitely use discountlaptops.com again and I have and will tell anyone I can about them. Very impressed, Very satisfied. Customer Service Speaks Volumes. And this company shouts it at the top of their lungs, without opening their mouth!

My order shipped the day that DiscountLaptops recieved payment. I recieved a cash discount of 2.5% for using PayPal eCheck. DiscountLaptops was very helpful throughout the ordering process and kept me up-to-date through email. My questions were answered quickly and professionally.

I've been shopping for a laptop for almost a year now, researching on www.notebookforums.com  
 
Basically I wanted a destop replacement that didn't weigh a ton and that I could bring with me to classes at uni. I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore gamer but I do like to play games and didn't want to not be able to play anything recent. I was also looking for a decent widescreen laptop so I could easily have a web page and a word doc open side by side.  
 
I settled for the Sager 3880. Discountlaptops and PcTorque priced the same (cheapest reliable sources on the web. You "may" find cheaper elsewhere but I'd be very careful of scams) for my configuration except discountlaptops offered a cash discount of 2.5% payable by Paypal echeck.  
 
I called them up and, with no waiting or electronic menus to go through, they answered my questions right away, including questions about shipping to Canada. Their email response time is just as commendable, usually within a half hour, sometimes after a few hours, even on weekends or holidays (I had a question on Labour Day). All in all great service, couldn't be happier!  

I was planning to run new medical software on a laptop, so I needed a powerful one. But the exacting and somewhat obscure specs I needed in a laptop made it hard to find one through the usual channels. I received only indifferent customer service from other (big name) companies; and local stores didn't carry what I needed.  
 
Fortunately, Discount Laptops was able to help. Every rep I spoke to was patient and knowledgeable, and took a lot of time to answer my questions. One rep even called one of the companies whose software I was planning to install, so she could understand why they required certain specs and thus customize a laptop for me with the optimal components.  
 
In the end, I bought a Chembook. It wasn't the cheapest laptop, but it wasn't exhorbitantly priced either. It's a good machine. The warranty was relatively inexpensive and the second and third year cover home repair visits, which is very convenient. Plus, I upgraded to better software for a very reasonable price.  
 
After I received my computer, I had some problems (I'm not that computer literate), so I called Discount Laptops. The staff was always ready and willing to go the extra mile to help. If you want to buy a high quality laptop from honest people who give superlative customer service, I highly recommend this store. (They don't work on commissions, so they are not invested in persuading you to buy something inferior that you don't need.)  
 
I also owe a "thank you" to the people who wrote positive reviews of Discount Laptops on this site. If not for you, I may not have bought from a store I'd never heard of before. I was not disappointed.

The customer service was excellent as I made my choice of which laptop to purchase. Pros and cons were honestly explained and the representative was very friendly and thorough. The shipping was excellent and very timely. As far as the price goes, it was among the top deals. I would recommend this site to anyone intrested in purchasing a laptop.

I originally came onto the whole "reseller" scene with wary eyes, and I was very uncomfortable with it. Having lived my live by namebrand computers, looking at something named Asus made me very anxious. Fortunately, I emailed DiscountLaptops with some questions about their laptops, and their swift replies (usually within an hour) marked with an obvious knowledge and understanding about the laptops won me over.  
 
I originally purchased an Asus Z71V, but the "sparkle" effect of the screen killed my eyes. It should be noted that this defect was on the part of Asus, and appears in all their Z71V laptops. Fortunately, I was able to contact DiscountLaptops, and they wasted no time in giving me an RMA. Since I literally decided to return it on my LAST day, their speediness was much appreciated!  
 
Instead of taking a refund, I took store credit--and I'm still glad I did. The support you get from the team at DL is fantastic to the point where I was worried about what kind of service I would get anywhere else. Heck, even going with Dell or IBM would've felt like I had jumped off the top rung of "support" and onto the middle one. With the new laptop I've purchased, DL has literally bent over backwards--I actually feel really bad that they're doing so much on account of me, just _one_ customer.  
 
Either way... their laptops are great, their prices are even greater, and their tech support is just impossible to describe. I'm going off to college in just a few days, and if anybody asks about laptops, "DiscountLaptops" will be on the tip of my tongue.

I have to say that DL has by far exceded my expectations of customer service. Right from the start it was easy and Matthew was a very great person to deal with, and very professional. He took the time to answer every question I had, and I did not feel rushed in any way like with many vendors who just want you to make the purchase. Matthew returned my phone call in under 5 minutes and every email is answered promptly and in depth. The thing that shocked me most was how fast my laptop was shipped, I was told approx 3 days after the purchase, but to my suprise later that night on the same day of the purchase I received the email and tracking number of my notebook. I finalized the order at approx 8 or 9Am and received the tracking details at 7PM. I would highly recomend DL to anyone who wants a hassle free and enjoyable purchase. As a matter of fact the reason that made me go with DL is how fast I received a return call, I was shopping around for a nice notebook so I placed a few calls to 4 different vendors, and Matthew at DL responded very promptly, and still no return call from any of the other 3 vendors, so that says alot about how business is done.......Thanks Matthew.

Fast order was received in less than one week. They loaded Microsoft XP without charge. So far  
I have received excellent service and am very happy with my purchase.

Very professional people to deal with. I would recommend this company to all my friends, actually, I have already started doing that. Laptop came very prompty, do get the 2 day shipping option for a bit more. Very pleased with laptop so far, ordered the Pronote, Centrino 2.0 ghz, 1 gig ram, 80 gig hard drive. They respond promptly... I got a phone call within the hour due to a minor credit card problem. Get your laptop here, and you can't go wrong.

Throughout the whole process the staff at discountlaptops.com offered me great service with my whole purchase. So far i am enjoying my Sager NP3880 i wasnt sure about it at first because it was a new name to me but after reading these helpful reviews i think i made a good decision. The staff also were very quick about replying to an email that i sent about my purchase or the shipping. They usually replyed within the half-hour. I would recommend anyone who is lookin for an inexpensive to moderate priced laptop to go to this website to atleast look at their inventory.

I needed a laptop for a college/gaming and discountlaptops.com was the answer for me. There service is top notch and I found everything I needed on the site easily and quickly. I ordered my laptop, Asus Z71v, on Friday. The company built it and shipped it the SAME day! Thats something Dell, HP, and other big notebook companies could never do. Thanks to selecting next day shipping it only took 1 business day to arrive and I received my laptop on Monday.  
 
In terms of product quality I couldn't be happier. The laptop is very well put together, setup was a breeze and now I'm surfing and playing games online through my wireless network thanks to the built in wireless card. We ordered two laptops from discountlaptops.com. The service was excellent, our original order was changed over the phone and Matt adjusted it online as we spoke. Very friendly support, and the laptops came on time and well-packaged. We have experienced no problems to date, but feel confident in the people at discount laptops to accomodate any we run into with prompt, friendly service.

I placed the order on July 6th, and it was shipped and on its way July 7th. I can't expect any better service than that.

It was a pleasure to do business with DiscountLaptops. The Sager NP7620 I ordered works great and is everything I expected. It was a long, painful wait (At no fault of Discount Laptops, I'm in the Navy and my ship went out to sea for a week while I was waiting for my laptop to arive.) but I finally got my laptop, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The prices are great and so is the customer service. I'll definately be coming back to them for my next PC purchase. And I'll definately tell all my friends about them.
