Not answering the phone. Neither today or yesterday (3/12,3/13).
Was sent the right camera with the wrong lens. I returned it (via Katie), and they sent the wrong camera, with the right lens. They said (Jesse) they would return the original camera and I should swap out the lens with the package I have now. They have not sent back the original camera, have not sent a return label for the one I have, nor do they answer the phone any longer. I left 3 voice mails yesterday, and have allowed it to ring through to the operator today for almost an hour. Do you think they have caller blocking software? 1-866-880-1230 Perhaps I should try calling from a different phone. Will keep you posted.

They finally answered the phone. "I don't know" when asked about my unanswered voice mails. Again I am promised (Jeremy) that they will send back the original camera and lens so that I can swap out the correct lens from the second package. We'll see.
This is my second purchase from Techforless. The first went ok, the open box item was misssing one small part which I deemed unnecessary so I did not pursue the matter. This one is not going so good. I have been promised a tracking number by this evening. Will keep you posted.
Update 2:
Katie just CALLED ME. (12:55 EST). She says the correct camera with the correct lens is on the way (2nd day shipping)and I should receive the tracking number this evening. She also says I will receive a return label by email, but should keep the current camera until I receive the new one-"just to be sure". I told her "if that all happens I'll be happy as a clam". As I said above-"we'll see".
I followed up my conversation with Jeremy this morning with an email to Techforless customer service reviewing what was said and a link to my review here. I don't know of course if that prompted the return phone call, but I don't think it could have hurt any. I at least seem to have their attention.
More than anything, this is just so disappointing. They really seem like they want to be a good company. Will let you know.

Tracking number and return label emails received late Friday night. Package to arrive on Tuesday (3/17/09). Things seem in order. Will let you know Tuesday as to what they actually sent me.

Success! Third time's the charm. Today received exactly what I should have received the first time. Everything included in like new condition. Warranty cards with matching serial numbers and everything. Some items seem to be repackaged, and the manual cover has a crease in it, so it is clearly an open box item, but everything is there and functioning correctly.
A bit of a struggle, but I have to say TechForLess made good on the deal. The incorrect camera will be on the way back to them tomorrow and that will be the end of it. They are generally well reviewed here and elsewhere, so I guess we'll have to just chalk this one up as "just one of those things"-a momentary hick up as it were. Will certainly consider giving them another try at some point in the future.
