Absolutely perfect experience!! I found this retailer through bing.com/cashback and ordered a Canon HF200. They had the best price ($60 less then everywhere else) but not the best rating. I took a chance and ordered from them anyways but was pretty nervous about it. I placed the order at 7:00PM on 9/21/09 and received an order confirmation right away. I called the next morning to check on the status and to make sure the item was in stock. The man that I spoke with was great and confirmed everything; even saying that he would be able to get the item shipped out that afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest. He did go through the buy an extended battery sales pitch but there was no pressure. I told him I did not need anything but the camcorder and he said no problem and advised that item would be shipped right away. I kept checking the status of the order on their website and found that it updated regularly and by the end of the day, the item was listed as shipped. The next morning, I received a e-mail with the UPS tracking number and received the item this afternoon, 9/24/09. Three days after placing the order and that was with their free shipping and ordering the item after they had already closed!!! The item was brand new, in perfect un-opened condition, in the factory box and came with the official Canon Warranty Card. I was able to register the product and for the warranty right on the Canon USA website. I would highly recommend the seller and would buy from again.
I ordered a Sony Blu-Ray player. It arrived about 1 week later. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and Central Digital's handling of the order. Delivery was delayed by 2 days while in transit. I don't know why, but it's certainly not Central Digitals issue.
I was hesitant, but Canon T1i was nearly $90 cheaper than other vendors. Ordered on a Sunday. Called them monday to confirm because I did not get an email confirmation. Was given moderate pitch for extra battery, declined twice and they let it go. Product shipped wednesday. Received on Friday. 100% as described. Would buy again.
I was a bit hesitant to buy from IBuyDigital after reading the latest reviews but their price for Panasonic Lumix ZS3 was $50 less than in other places and they picked up the phone quickly when I called to check if it was in stock, so I ordered.
I did get an e-mail asking to call back to verify the order and they did ask me to buy me some accessories when I called, but there were no sell pressure of any kind.
I got an e-mail with my UPS tracking number and got my camera on time, brand new and sealed.
The warranty card included did not look like Panasonic and required registration within 30 days, so they may be providing their own warranty, but the camera works great and those things rarely break, so no worries here.
I ordered a Canon SX10 from ibuydigital because it was $30 cheaper than Amazon and $65 cheaper than Best Buy, where I had tried out the camera in person.
I ordered the camera on Tuesday, July 28, got an email to call to "confirm" so I did. Got a "soft" sell to buy accessories and an extended warranty, which I declined. THEN later I read the reviews, got really scared and tried to call the next day to cancel my order but remarkably it had already shipped. The representative gave me a UPS tracking number and later the same day I got an email confirming with the tracking number.
I received the camera today, Friday, so 4 days after ordering, and that's with free shipping.
Now, the camera. I had read of "gray market" cameras being sold as having US warranties, had also read of cameras being sold as new and unopened but arriving clearly opened, etc.
I encountered none of that. The camera box itself could have been opened-it wasn't sealed with tape or anything, but the camera was wrapped in foam and all the instruction manuals were in sealed plastic, the accessories were all included and also sealed.
Most importantly right on top was the Canon USA/Canada warranty card with part number on it, which I compared to that on the body of the camera and they matched.
I was still skeptical due to the negative reviews, so I called Canon. The representative confirmed that I had all I needed to have if there should be a problem and the camera needs repaired (within 1 year-the length of the warranty).
I don't know what to say except that everything seems to be in order. I have tried out the camera and it seems perfect, works just like the demo at Best Buy but cost a lot less.
I know this merchant has been accused of some pretty shady practices. I believe the people that wrote those reviews and I was really scared. As for me all I can say is so far it seems that everything was exactly in order and it was a smooth transaction.

I ordered a Canon SD780IS point-and-shoot digital camera online. I was emailed to call a number to confirm my order. The operator was brief and courteous. He asked if I needed any accessories for the camera but no pressure. That was it. I got the camera by free UPS ground. I'm 100% satisfied - lowest price; great new, latest technology item; timely shipping.
I ordered a Canon EOS 5D Mark II from iBuyDigital.com on April 30th 2009. They processed my order that day. I had to call to get my payment to go through, but that was because my bank required me to be on the line when they verified my address. I called in and the payment went through. The next day 5/1/2009 my order shipped and arrived at my house yesterday 5/6/2009 one day ahead of the scheduled delivery (UPS rocks!). The box was a bit dinged up, but the camera seems to work fine and came with all of the proper items in the box. I paid $100.00 less than MSRP $2599.00 and paid no shipping and tax. At a store it would have cost me $2699.00 + $215.00(8% tax), a full $315.00 more. It was a good experience for me, and I would consider using them again for a lens or two when the time comes. You guys going to give me a discount for giving you a good review?
The reviews were definitely mixed for this store, but I decided to order anyway since there were several "very satisfied" customers and their price was MUCH better than everyone else's. (except Broadway Photo...LOSERS!) I was praying that I would be one of the very satisfied customers and I certainly was. Wow! I recd the standard email to call and confirm my order. I spoke to Steve who was pleasant and right to the point. I had my defenses up and expected him to try to sell me a bunch of unwanted crap. Well, much to my suprise. He didn't try to sell me anything else. He simply confirmed my name & address and asked me if I had any questions. That was it! I was so surprised. I didn't have to haggle whatsoever. The ground shipping was free and the item arrived in 7 days. The Sony DSC T-700 camera I purchased was recd in perfect condition. It was also very well packaged. Bottom line: I was very pleased Ibuydigital.com and would definitely order from them again.
After reading reviews, I decided to take a chance on ibuyplasma.com. Their price for the Canon camera I wanted was too good to be true. It turned out that the good price that was advertised was for a "gray" camera. However, they do sell the USA certified version of the same camera. You just have to ask for it. And it comes at a higher price. The higher price was still the best I could find on the internet, or anywere. There was some pressure to buy the gray version and a 3 year extended warranty, but simply stating "no, I want the USA warranty from Canon" was all it took.
I have had a great experience with Ibuydigital. This is my second purchase (camera) since I bought my 52" sony lcd last year. I was quite anxious last year purchasing an expensive large item, but it was delivered on time in great shape and I was more than pleased at the savings. No complaints about the camera purchase either. I will continue to do business with them.
Fred at Ext 522 was very helpful. After 3 bad experiences with misleading ads and VERY high pressure sales, I was a little skeptical. Fred recommended options to me but really made me feel like I made the proper choice. I will do business with this company again.
I had a great experience with this merchant. I bought a GPS system and it arrived a few days later as promised, I got a free delivery upgrade for this as well. Their customer service rep I spoke to, Fred, was very helpful!
Received my Denon 3808CI receiver with no problem. Sure, I was asked about an aftermarket warrantee and accessories before they confirmed the order. But, they were professional during the entire process and standard shipping was very fast. I figure that they are not authorized dealers and may deal in merchandise obtained by less than orthodox means. So, my warrantee may be worthless. Still, I saved several hundred dollars, the item was unopened and it performs flawlessly.
