BUYER BEWARE! Worst transaction ever. I actually had to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and was successful. I found a camera through Bing. I was supposed to receive a 10% rebate from the seller. I purchased the camera. Days later I called them because I had received no e-mails. I was told they did not have the camera in stock. They said they would at the end of the week. I called on that day and was told they did not expect to receive any more. They sold me a camera they did not have and did not expect to receive. I asked to get a different color which was in stock. The different color would have cost less if I had ordered it, but I did not argue because I wanted the camera quickly. Then I received notification that my 2% rebate, yes, not 10% as advertised but 2%, was too small to be paid out. The seller said this was a problem with Bing, but Bing's FAQs clearly state that rebates are determined by the seller, so not only did I get something other than what I bought, I had to pay 10% more than advertised. Then they talked me into a package that was supposed to have a memory card, tripod and an extra battery for $69.99. When I received it, it was junk. The tripod was about three inches tall. I had been told it could be wrapped around a tree, which was not true. The battery had a much different voltage and amperage. The camera manual specifically warned against using different batteries. When I called the seller they said to ignore the manual and use the battery. Of course, this would void the warranty and if my camera fried I would be out of luck. When I said I wanted to return the junk, they finally agreed but told me they would charge me a hefty restocking fee and return shipping. That's when I disputed the charge with my credit card company and won the dispute. These people lie and are mean and rude. Don't purchase anything from then unless you want a major headache. Customer service is nonexistant. Buyer beware!

I found a camera I was interested in and it was listed at ibuydigital at a decent price with free shipping. I had checked the company reviews here and was concerned over having to call or worse yet getting calls about the order at an odd hour, so I did not list a phone number on my online order, just all 9's.

The order went through and the following day I got an email that said:
Due to verification problems with your order # ********, we are unable to process your order. In order to help us process your order, please contact our verification department at 1-866-243-4289 Extension 557.

I've first time ordered from many other places w/o having to provide a phone number, so this smacks of high pressure sales tactics to me- you call and they try to sell you more stuff. I would not recommend doing business with this company since they cannot deliver what they advertise.

Never buy anything from this company they will rip you off. I bought a brand new projector in May from them which had $200 rebate. So I applied for rebate to Mitsubishi and, Mitsubishi took couple of months to respond to the rebate. They came back and told me ibuydigital has ripped you off by cutting out the serial number from the projector and from the box and sold you as a new item, And they put a fake serial number tape on the projector. When I call the manager at ibuydigital and send them all the pictures with all the info, and asked him to replace the projector,he ended up blaming me for cutting out the serial number from the projector. He told me he can’t do anything about it. We sold you a new item. Nothing can be done. He also added they do cut out the serial numbers from the boxes and equipment before they sell to a customer because they are in wholesale business. I wish he knew that Serial number tempering is crime. Manager did not care if report this to BBB or the Manufacture.

My experience with this company was bad. I placed my order on August 5th and my order was shipped on August 22nd. I was assured my order was shipped on August 11th and it was not. The product I purchased was finally shipped August 22nd after countless telephone call and emails. Don't waste your time, money or patience as this company obviously is out to scam people. What a shame a business thinks they need to operate this way. I would caution anyone dealing with this company. Pay a couple extra bucks and go with a reputable company. This one won't be in business very long conducting business this was.

Short and simple: DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!

I was forced to put in an invoice number even though I canceled my order. I placed on order online 7/23 after looking over the 4.5 star rating out of 5 thinking they must be a pretty good company to get that kind of rating. They also appeared to have the best price. I wish I would have read some reviews first. After I placed my order I got a call from them trying to sell me some extended warranty and some other stuff. I told them no thanks. I thought that was kind of odd so I decided to start doing some research and found out the company was not to be trusted. I called the very next day 7/24 and canceled my order. They couldn't give me a confirmation number of course nor an e-mail but, said everything was fine. I took their word for it and figured everything was good. On 8/6 they charged my card and sent me a very cryptic e-mail stating my order had shipped but, it had no information about a tracking number and besides I had canceled the order. I called my bank the next day and put in a complaint. I also put in complaints in NY and NJ with the attorney generals office as I think this is fraudulent activity. I did get in touch with them on the phone on 8/7 and they told me it was a mistake and that they would take care of it and reverse the charges. They also told me that they had already shipped the product out and that I would have to refuse the package. When I asked for a tracking number they gave me a number of one of the millions of generic UPS labels that you can pick up in any one of the public UPS locations. When I called UPS they said there was no billing or shipping information for that number. It is now 8/13 and they have not refunded my money and UPS still shows that tracking number as being invalid.

Bottom line is these guys have figured out how to game the system and make it look like they still have good ratings because for every one of these bad reviews they go out and create five more positive ones with IDs the company themselves made up. I would be willing to bet that if the truth were revealed about their rating they would be lucky to have a 1 out of 5.

I purchased a Nikon D90 dslr kit on Ebay for 1299.99. They called next day, offered "upgraded kit" and extended warranty for another $380.00. The Nikon D90 was advertised as "new/ never opened" in the Ebay listing. I paid $50 for two day shipping, this was a birthday present. I recevied an opened gray market Nikon D90 with a photocopied manual. I called their customer service line repeatedly nevery got through, endless hold. Finally called the billing department and demaned service. The woman I spoke with, Tammy, said it was a big mistake. They never meant to send me the gray market item. She promised to send me a "brand new, never opened, sealed in the box Nikon D90", with expedited free shipping. I paid for return shipping for the gray market item. Then they sent me another opened gray market Nikon D90. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe I fell for it twice either.

These people are bad mojo and I had to open a paypal claim to get my money back. My pennance for this moment of insanity is to write a review about this, everywhere. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I also reported them to the BBB, local internet fraud authorities and the I3C.

If you enjoy gambling then by all means order from these guys. From what I've read, as well as from my own experience with them, for every 10 orders that go well there are 3 or 4 that go horribly wrong. Just over a week ago I ordered a digital camera that was indicated to be in stock. Within the first 48 hours of ordering I recieved an e-mail saying my order had been processed in their system, so I was thinking great, it should ship very soon then. The reason I thought this is for one, I've never had an internet order that took longer than a day or two to ship, and for two it says on their site that "All orders are processed, billed, and shipped within 72 business hours from when the order is placed provided the merchandise ordered is available and in stock." A week passed with no notification so I gave them a call. I was on hold for about six minutes, which isn't too bad so I won't bash them for it, and then I spoke to a woman who told me she was sorry but my order hadn't shipped yet. She assured me they had upgraded the shipping and I should recieve it by the end of the week. Well, a few more days passed and I started scouring the internet for more reviews on ibuyDigital. I kept finding more and more dissatisfied customers. It was common for someone to place and order for an in stock item and not recieve it until a month later. After coming to the conclusion that I would not see the camera I had ordered for another 3 weeks, I promptly called them. After several minutes I spoke to someone and told them to cancel my order, but they informed me only an authorized employee could do this. I waited a few minutes then spoke to another guy, indicating I wanted to cancel my order, but was again told I would need to be transfered to someone authorized to do so. A few more minutes pass, and then I speak to yet another employee, who I could've sworn I had already talked to, and tell what I'm trying to do. He begins to tell me he has to find someone authorized to cancel an order, so I interject in a semi-annoyed tone and tell him I've been transfered twice already for the same reason. He quickly tells me he'll get the authorization to do it himself and less than a minute later, voila! I'm very happy I chose to cancel my order, because soon after I found the same camera on eBay for 5 bucks less and sold by a reputable store. Within the first 12 hours of ordering the camera on eBay, the package had been shipped and the tracking numbers sent to my e-mail. What a refreshing change of pace from ibuyDigital's run around BS-fest. If you're as foolish as me and decide to order from ibuyDigital, I would recommend canceling your order if you haven't recieved a shipping notification within the first week. After reading about the throngs of other people who waited around for these jokers to get their item(s) to them, you're taking a serious risk by paying a few bucks less and ordering from this place. Please shop around more and save yourself the headache and frustration.

I purchased Canon 50D from ibuydigital.com. According to their website, the unit is brand new and have factory warranty. The price was reasonable and shipping was fast. But what I received was a brand new unit with a store warranty card. The customer rep told me ibuydigital is not an authorized Canon dealer and Canon just wouldn't honor the factory warranty. It is a simple misrepresentation. I will have no problem with them if they simply put on the website that the unit does not come with factory warranty, but they will offer 1 year store warranty. But they just should not lie to customers.

WARNING. FRAUDE. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I just tried buying a digital camera, and after having to call to confirm (where I was on hold for about 30mins). They said it was all ready to go when I get a random email the next day saying that my order was cancelled. I called back again (on hold for another 30mins) and they said they needed a copy of the credit card and a copy of a photo idea. WARNING. FRAUD

Absolute crooks! You must be absolutely ignorant to have a good experience with these people. The only way they will sell to you is if you buy extra over priced items. I declined all extras then the problems started and long story short they eventually could not process my order. Now I have to wait 3 days for them to credit my card back and I can buy from somewhere else.

Come on people! They have to make a profit somehow. So they lure you in with cheap prices but will complete a sale only if they can make up for it with the extras.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM!!
I bought the canon 5d mark ii from them, called them about the order and they told me it's the non-us camera! there was nothing about that in their website. so i told him to charge me another 100 so i can get the us factory warranty camera. which ended up being 2699 which is not any cheaper than anywhere else.
I got the camera and it did not have any warranty with it. It was even in the kit box, which was obvious that they have opened it and took the lens and the warranty 0ut!
So i called them and they said they automatically fill in the warranty for me, and they can't send it to me!
i called again and said i want to return it, and the lady said she send me a warranty herself.. i googled and saw people had the same situation and got the warranty for some random NY repair shop. Finally I decided not to take that and return the whole thing.but they are refunding me 2300 instead of 2700!! they lied and stole my money!!

Horrible place to buy anything!
1) Took amost 2 weeks to get the camera I ordered, although I am located ~400miles from the warehouse.
2) False advertising. The website specifies taht the camera carries the factory warranty! The camera I got doesn't. I have a warranty card from some suspicious Brooklyn place.
3) Horrible customer service. They act like they are doing me a favor. I am on hold for the past 30 min now.

I will dispute with my CC company and make sure I have the last laugh!

I ordered a camcorder on 4/10 online from dbuys.com. They sent me an email 4/13 requesting me to call them. (wasted 3 days) So I called them on 4/14. It was the usual extended warranty, battery stuff. And the gentleman assured me the product will be sent out ASAP.

As of today, 4/22, 12 days after I placed the order, I still don't have the camcorder, no tracking number, my credit card is not charged.

So I call them up, after several transfers, finally a gentleman pick up my call, but not as patient as when I called them the first time. I asked when it took so long, he said because of free shipping. I asked when they will charge my credit card, they said they will charge it when UPS pick up the item. That implied they are lying.

It takes so long because they have no stock. So there is no UPS pick up, so the credit card was not charged.

They said they will send me a tracking number. I really want to cancell this order. This dbuys.com was very good before. But I guess the economic condition has deteriated so much that they are running the wrong way to do business.

I ordered two Panasonic Projectors that cost almost 5000.00 and was waiting back from DBuys to send us some info on shipping or at least when THEY WERE ARRIVING. I called after a week to find out that my projectors I ordered are OUT OF STOCK! They called their vendor and they were out of stock. Not to mention now the projector has jumped up in cost everywhere at least 300 DOLLARS!!!
I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!!
