Well I got got again. I received the package with the enclosed USB cable and the accompaning driver disk. Lo and behold it is exactly like the one that I already have that I only paid $14 for. I guess the rest of the charge was for the little sticker on the box that directed me to a site on the web that offers FREE download software. You people got me good this time, but I will guarantee you it will not happen again. As you can see from the previous communication, I stated that I already had one cable, and was under the impression that your product was something special. Oh wrong was me. What a crummy way to do business. Another case of let the buyer beware, because the seller is out to get all he can fair or foul. I will be sure to pass this along to everyone that I can.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are a pathetic in customer service, product delivery, contact replies, etc. They only good thing is their low prices, but that is moot, because you either get merchandise that is faulty or you don't receive it at all.  
I placed an order for 3 cell phone cases, one home charger and 6 LED mini flashlights on Dec 13. The bank transaction cleared on Dec 15, and here it is Feb 2, and I have not received my order, nor any response to the various emails I've sent inquiring about my order.  
I'll be going to the bank in the morning to contest the charge.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!  
Just like everyone else, I didn't research FDC prior to ordering from them. I placed an order for an extended life battery on Jan 9 and the payment was deducted from my card on Jan 11. I emailed them Jan 22 inquiring about the order. They did respond and indicated the battery should arrive in a few days. I received it on Jan 28 (15 business days)only to find out it wasn't compatible with my phone. I emailed them today concerning the problem and hope to get a response within the next few days. Based on all the complaints I've read concerning FDC, I'm not anticipating much help or sympathy from them.  
Oh well, another one of life's lessons learned the hard way.

OH my God...am i kicking myself for not reading up on these people before ordering. i, too, placed an order on 1/4, the charge hit my card on 1/6, and after several emails and faxes, still do not have my order! they did, however, respond to an email that i wrote to: more-issues@factorydirectcellular.com...telling me my orders WAS shpd, via US postal service (so much for tracking!) but neglected to say what the "date" was that it shpd on! their website says it takes 2-9 business days...well today, 1/24, marks the 11th bus day (13 if you count when it was actually placed!) from the time they took my money!! i saw only a very few people who said they actuall REC'D their order...i'm just keeping my fingers crossed that i, too, can be in that category since it doesn't look real promising when it comes to getting one's money back! i was telling everyone i knew about this site & how cheap they are...but that was before all this! i will be sure to let them know now, the REAL DIRT on these people! ABSOLUTELY ridiculous there is no ph# to actually speak to a human being!! wow... :(

I cannot say it enough. Do NOT buy from this store. It must either be a scam or a joke. I place my order early Dec. After 3 weeks and several emails and finally reading the plight of numerous people, I decide this is not coming. I call my bank to contest the charge, they set it up the dispute and then give me a phone number for them on their records. The number is 7133949968.  
 
I call (of course they don't pick it up), I leave a message saying cancel my order and I am contesting the chaarge. I also write down the fax number given on the voicemail answer voice (7133949970). I send a fax. Within 1 hr, I get an email from "matt" saying, your order has just been sent, expect it in a couple of days. How incredible?! So it took 3 weeks to send my order? and after my running around? Meanwhile 5 weeks later I still haven't received my order.  
 
Any website that does not offer a number to call for enquries should be avoided. This is a lesson, before I buy in any online store, I will check if there is phone number and if I can talk to someone.  
 
Save your peace of mind, stay away from them.

I think it should be illegal for a catalog or Inernet retailer to charge the purchaser for an order WEEKS before it is shipped. I placed an order 11/29/04 and my credit card was charged IMMEDIATELY. The order was not shipped until 12/15/04 and not received until 12/20/04. The credit card bill arrived long before the items ordered did. Before I got the items, I sent an e-mail inquiring about the status (they won't give you a phone number to call), and never received a response. I won't use this company again.

I agree with all the other letter regarding this company. One item I ordered was backordered and the company indicated on the invoice that it would sent as soon as possible. That was a month ago and no message from them indicating when it would be shipped. I have emailed them thru their web site and followed their instructions and no response from them. BE CAREFUL when ordering from this company.

They sold me a piece of junk that never worked or even powered up. They have no phone, answer e-mails automatically, and don't call back when you fax them. I trusted them as they are listed as a Yahoo sponsor, but I guess this means nothing.

I should of read the reviews before buying cell phone batteries. I ordered 2 different batteries, one for a Motorola P280 and one for a Motorola V525. Plus a telephone case. What I received was the case and 2 batteries for the V525. It could be an honest shipping mistake but after reading all the complaints I don't think they will answer my 2 faxes so I'll let Mastercard handle the problem.

RRatings.com seems to be a great site, and I would have liked to have found it before I ordered from FDC.  
With that said, I ordered a replacement cell battery for my Samsung from them on 11/22.  
They have a very professional-looking site, great (true?) info, and easy shopping. I just recieved my battery from them today, and it seems to be everything they described...fits my phone and charger perfectly.  
We'll see if the new technology they herald is as good as claimed.  
Packaging was good, product looks fine...I just hope it's not a case of a 'counterfeit' battery as I've been hearing about lately.

I placed an order for 2 items which I recived in a reasonable amount of time. However, one item was incorrect. I followed their procedures for exchange and have not heard from them in nearly a week. They have a caveat saying don't send more than 1 e-mail or their spam filter may delete both e-mails. This in effect precludes you from following up. So I am stuck with a battery I cannot use, have a $24 charge on my credit card for something I don't want, and have no idea if they will ever solve the problem.. They have no phone number. I will never use them again. Their customer service is nonexistent!

I ordered before checking this site, which I regretted after reading some reviews. However, I have to say that my order was confirmed via email minutes after it was placed, and 5 business days later I received the items ordered. Prices and shipping fees were very fair. I'm a satisfied customer and would order again.

Items were recieved within 10 days as promised, and all items were as advertised. Did not recieve conformation e-mail....may have be deleted as spam by ISP, but they did what they said...dicounted cellphone products with 10 day delivery!!

I ordered two items on a Monday and they arrived on the following Saturday. Both arrived in good shape and were as advertised. Only one caveat: don't expect an e-mail confirmation of your order, and they also won't reply to an e-mail request for the order status. Bottom line: the service was actually good, but if you're a person who needs to be reassured that your order is being processed, this isn't the vendor for you.
