Don't waste your money dealing with this site.  
 
My wife and I decided to buy back-up batteries for our cell phones so we decided to buy from Factory derect cellular because they seemed to have good prices and claimed high quality. Well, one battery didn't hold a charge at all and the other marginally. The wife decided to send back the one that she got but was charged a 20% re-stocking fee for a defective battery! There's no way to talk to a service rep and only get back generic emails.  
Do youself a favor and spend a few dollars more and deal with a company that provides service and good communication.

Rec'd Motorola V710-1600L Lithium Ion Battery Monday even. Put it in my phone and when I plugged in the charger a "red" battery started flashing. I figured this was not good. I emailed Factory Direct and got a generic response. Oh well, $30 shot in the butt.  
They don't have a phone number listed, BEWARE!!!!!!!

My first time ordering from this company. Great price, items arrived 5 days after ordering. I'm happy!

Product order to receipt of product (via US mail) was 5 days. I thought this was great during the holiday season. I did find it disturbing that other than email confirmation of the order, there was no communication from the company, and no method to check the order status on-line. I think this is a serious deficiency. THe product I ordered was a horizontal case for an older Motorola cell phone. Being able to enter the model number and have all the workable options presented to me was ideal. I was especially glad that the website advised purchasing the "medium" case for use with an extended life battery. This has been a problem in the past. The case is attractive, very well made, and fits the phone perfectly!

Like many before me, I had already ordered from this vendor before reading the comments here. However, I had a very favorable experience. My order arrived in 3-business days of my order. Everything was exactly as described. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

I placed an order with this company through the internet, paying with my credit card as instructed. I did not receive any documentation to confirm the order was received, and assumed that since I was ordering from Canada the order was not acceptable to them. The charge on my credit card showed up in June, 2005, but the product never did. Attempts to enter into correspondence with the company have been unsuccessful. A bad experience for me, and I'm out $51.00. John Page.

Looks like I had the same experience as everyone else. I ordered a data cable with software for about $15 more than just a data cable would cost somewhere else. Figured the software was something special. It's not. It's software that is available for free on the internet. It came on a writeable CD,as though someone in the store burned it themselves. The software is not the latest version that is available and requires hunting down drivers from other websites to work. It took me about 4 hours ( background: I am software programmer ) to get it to work. I do not recommend for non tech people.  
 
I also ordered 2 cases for my phone as I had trouble deciding. Their site has a page for accessories specific to my phone. I ordered from this page. Neither case fit my phone.  
 
I paid for shipping to send the cases back for exchange. ( I guess I'll eat that cost ). Their instructions on returning items is difficult at best to figure out. I have not heard from them since.  
 
Update: I received the replacement cases 3 weeks after sending them back. I was never contacted by the company after I had shipped the original cases back and my email to them had gone unanswered.  
 
However, in spite of the time that it took and the fact that I had to eat the postage for something I consider to be their mistake they did make good on the replacement so to be fair I wanted to note that here.

Ordered two (2) horizontal leather cases for our Treo-650's on Thursday afternoon (11/03/05)... they arrived on Monday (11/07/05) and are just as described on their website. We are absolutely delighted with the cases, the excellent pricing and speedy delivery of the order. We would not hesitate to order from Factory Direct Cellular again.

After placing my order for 2 cellular phone batteries, and subsequently reading the ratings about this company, I had some serious misgivings about buying primarily for price. I placed my order on 10-24-05 and received it on 10-28-05. With that level of service I don't see how this company is getting such poor reviews. They certainly did their job for me.

I do NOT understand all the bad reviews on here. I have ordered from FDC 3 times. The orders come within a few days, they are 100% correct and the products are as good or better than anywhere I've shopped. I've gotten batteries for Samsung and Motorola phones from them that were half the price of stores and were MUCH better batteries. The battery I got for my Motorola Razr actually lasts longer than the one from Motorola.  
I've never had an issue with them so I can't speak to how they handle issues.

I bought an extended life battery for my cell phone from this site, and it seemed like a good price. I fell for this trap and I waited 3 months to get these batteries. I'm just a kid, and I'm REALLY PATIENT. They said if you don't receive your order in 10 days, e-mail them, so I did. 3 weeks later I get a reply saying that it has been shipped a long while ago, so I'm just like oh ok, just a mistake by the mailman. Apparantly not, because a few days later it came, so I thought that was the second one they sent because the first one got lost. But another few days later another battery comes in my mail, meaning the one I got a few days ago WAS THE FIRST ONE. So it basically means it takes 3 months to ship something, so if you're not as patient as me or as foolish, don't purchase from this store, even with like overnight shipping or something.  
UPDATE: good thing i got 2 batteries, they didnt even care to check if I had 2 batteries, but seriously I didnt do it on purpose, and truly, it took me 3 DAM MONTHS!!!! HAHA!!! I actually forgot about it a couple weeks later... Another thing I would like to mention is that the address for where it came from(their warehouse)is like VERy weird it said like hair shop or I dont remember something weird, and I was about to throw it out when I was just curious and opened it. BTW, the so-called extended life batteries were worse than the stock ones that came with my phone, WHICH I even incorrectly charged because I accidently unplugged during the very first charge. Overall, very disappointed, and it's really a 50/50 I guess, so congrats to those who actually were successful. My mom is now VERY discouraged in online buying and now becuase of factory crap service, I don't get to buy ANYTHING online!!! My mom now wont even trust like instore pickup for bestbuy..... shame on you Factory crap service, I really thought people that were sellings stuff were REALLY just trying to do business, not cheat on them. WE PAY, YOU DO IT RIGHT!! omfg...

Read the reviews. Had some doubts, but ordered anyway. Leery of a firm with no phone number. Ordered cell phone case, extended life battery, auto charger and USB cable/software. Placed order on March 3 and received it on March 10. Everything was perfect. Relieved, perhaps a bit surprised, but VERY happy. Their prices were far and away the lowest and the quality is top-notch. Will definitely order from then again and recommend the site highly.

Payment cleared account in two days. Ordered two cellphone cases. Recieved order 10 days after order 03/02/05 by mail. Items ordered work great. I am very satesfied.

Good: Got exactly what I ordered in new condition:

2) Lithium Ion Battery for same, size large  
3) USB Cable and driver S/W for same  
4) Earbud headset with switch  
5) Free promotional antenna extender  
 
Needs improvment:  
1) Took 30 days to get here (I am in Canada but c'mon guys 30 days?)  
2) When I wrote to them to ask where my shipment was, they replied but not coherently, and did not answer the question.  
 
I had already called my credit card company after 18 business days and asked them to send be a dispute note, but the order got here before the dispute note did.  
 
I might buy from these guys again, certainly their prices are reasonable. Naturally, all the stuff is made in China except for the LiIon battery which is made in Taiwan.  
 
I suspected the positive reviews here were from clonebots. Hmm, maybe not. I am not a clonebot my phone number is (403) 769-4622 if you really need to check.
