I am so upset.  
Gave this store 2 chances and they failed.  
First time I ordered a Behringer DEQ2496 and I received a very old version of it with the software so far from be right that was almost funny. I call them to let them know what happen and the answer was " Sir , you can upgrade the software yourself!" after I paid full price for it and not "B stock" price!!!???!!!  
Second chance: I ordered a Behringer DSP2024P and after a week waiting for them to ship the item the order got canceled. The reason I was told is that I did not give them the right CVV number of my credit card, but strange enough they were able to charge me right away. They had my money for a week and never shipped the item and at the end they cancelled the order saying that the DSP2024P was not longer available. I went to their web site and the item page says " IN STOCK ". You tell me..........

I ordered a Hercules guitar stand with free shipping on Sunday and receieved a confirmation e-mail soon after. In it was a link to an order status page that shows when your order is approved and shipped. The page told me my order shipped on Monday, but it didn't give me a tracking number. However, I received the package the next day (Tuesday). It was sent UPS ground from New Jersey to Baltimore, MD. The stand was in the manufacturer's box, which was wrapped, although a little loosely, in bubble wrap in a larger box. New as advertised, and shipped very quickly.

Avoid these clowns.  
They do a credit/debit card approval before checking stock.  
So if it turns out they don't have it in stock, you won't be buying it anywhere else as they have a hard hold on your money for 4 days.  
Very unprofessional.  
After I complained, they tried to blame my bank, then promissed to fax a cancellation of approval to my bank to drop the hold. 3 days later and still no fax.  
It is pointless talking to customer service if they don't keep their promises.

I buy my guitar and bass strings from Same Day Music (I hate going to guitar center and dealing with hollywood traffic for some strings and cords etc.), and on the occasion I'll order some equp. (altho for insturments I prefer to buy from a store, get to know the exact guitar you'll be playing for the rest of my life, you know ;)  
 
Their stuff is really inexpensive, shipping is free, no tax (take that uncle sam!) what more can I ask for?  
 
I seriously recomend them to anyone who wants a decently priced music related internet store to shop from.  
 
As far as a package being sent out the same (or next) day, don't know. They seem to give me a tracking number that didn't work, however only takes 4 days to get a package, so it seems its a quick procedure.

Placed order on Saturday SDM shipped on Monday.  
 
Packed well enough, but not great. Item arrived in good condition.  
 
Good website, good order tracking.

Order came within a few days (two parts with one coming a day before the other). They supplied a valid fedex number and I could see that they shipped the day we orderd.

Four orders over the past years and no problems. They have good prices and ship about 4 days after order.

I made my order with SameDayMusic.com via their internet site on a wednesday night (knowing it would not ship until thursday, but assuming it would ship on thursday because the item I requested was marked as having "guaranteed same day shipping"). I paid for overnight shipping (by Federal Express) because I wanted to receive it by Friday.  
 
On Friday I was at home waiting for the package to arrive and it was getting a bit late, so I decided to check the order tracking feature on their web page. Their tracking page said it had shipped on thursday (as expected), and gave a FedEx tracking number. When I went to fedex to check the status of the package, I found out that the tracking number that SameDayMusic.com gave me was invalid.  
 
So I called SameDayMusic.com and was immediately assured that the package shipped on time, and was given another tracking number, which was also invalid. The customer service rep said "the FedEx guy probably forgot to scan the packaage" and said I'd get the package on Friday, but it might not be delivered until 7pm.  
 
The package was not delivered on Friday. On Saturday I called their customer service department and was given another tracking number, which was also invalid. After a long delay waiting for the guy to talk to his supervisor, he told me that "FedEx lost the package." I then cancelled the order.  
 
This idea that they always ship on time, and that you'll get $50 if they do not, is a bit of a scam, in my opinion. I believe that they always claim they ship packages on time and provide a bogus tracking number. Then when the package doesn't arrive they can claim it is the shipper's fault.  
 
I will not be ordering from them again. I have ordered many, many items off the internet and have never been treated like this...my advice is to avoid them at all costs.  
 
UPDATE: they refunded my money within a couple of days of my last complaint after offering to ship a replacement (which I declined). They still claim that the box was lost by Federal Express, though they never did provide a valid tracking number, so I have no way of verifying it. They were friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the order, so I'm not sure what to think. But the whole process was rather troublesome, so I doubt I'll be buying anything else from them anytime soon.

I ordered on a wed. night, was alledgedly shipped out that thursday next day fedex.  
 
Friday, it was never recieved. Talked to many reps and each confirmed that It was shipped and wait till monday, there was nothing I could do.  
 
Fedex would not own up to it not showing up at my doorstep and Mike, a nice guy at same day music said he would ship it out again.  
 
Which he again, alledgedly shipped it out fedex overnight.  
Tuesday, it never showed up, so now nearly 500 of my dollars is tied up in Samedaymusic.com, and I am still waiting for my refund.  
 
The reps were really nice, but, over all a VERY bad experience.  
 
I would not order from them unless they were last choice.  
 
That is my opinion.  
I hope this never happens to any of you.

Purchased Fender Floyd Rose Fat Strat. It came with scratches on the pickguard & scrapes on humbucker b/c some dumb techy decided to play around with it.. GRRRR. What cheapp A$$es selling refurbished/Scratched items as new! I paid $500!!!

Ordered Behringer DCX2496 which was shipped the next morning UPS ground for free. Recieved prompt e-mail confirming on-line order and e-mail when it shipped with a link to track the shipment.

Purchased a Yamaha digital piano. Phenomenal service. Best ever received. Order shipped ahead of schedule and arrived exactly on tracking time. Price included shipping which was better than competition. Shipped UPS, easy to track. Oddly, UPS left item at front door without even ringing doorbell. Would highly recommend SameDayMusic for it's competency, courtesy, service and pricing. Great company. WH

I've placed close to 10 orders in the past couple months and these guys always come through. The prices are rock bottom, great selection, the service/shipping is the fastest I've ever experienced, and the thing that really blew me away.... they're very friendly and professional over the phone even if theres a problem with c/c (doh!). If I need anymore equipment, parts, etc. Same Day Music is where I'll be shopping!

I was looking for the Teratec DMX 6fire soundcard. Since it is more of an audiophile card your usual compugeek house wouldn't carry it. Same day music had it at a very reasonable price and a site that was easy to navigate. They sent 2 confirmation e-mails of acceptance of order and of shipped date. Shipping date was within 5 hours from when I placed my order. That's very fast. The package came nicely protected with bubble wrap. I am impressed with this company and would trust them again for my audio needs be they computer related or not.
