I just ordered from this company on the 1st of April, 2003. I have not heard anything from them, no email, nothing. I go to the website and check my order and it still says processing. What should I do so that my money does not get stolen from me? I would rather take my money back and go buy the products elsewhere, than wait a month to receive my products. I read the reviews after I had ordered. Thank you.

I will not go into detail on the fraudulent activities of this company. You can read the reviews here for that.  
 
I will give everyone information on how we can cease this company from continuing it's unethical and fraudulent activities.  
1) Contact the Florida Attorney General, Charlie Crist, a very good man. Submit a Complaint to the General at http://www.doacs.state.fl.us/~cs/ccform.html  
2) Contact the Chief of Police and Investigations in Ocala County at 352-369-7175 and let them know that a company in Ocala is charging credit cards before providing a legitimate service.  
(From the techsavings.com website: We accept Mastercard and Visa with no surcharge and your card is not billed until the product ships.)  
3) File a complaint wit the Better Business Buruea  
Current BBB status of Techsavings:  
Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the  
Bureau due to a pattern of complaints. Although the company resolves the  
complaints, it has failed to correct the underlying reason for the  
complaints. Complaints are concerning delay in delivery of ordered  
merchandise after paying in full, consumers inability to reach anyone at the  
company in order to discuss their complaint and delay in honoring their  
promise of a refund. All complaints request cancellation of the order and a  
refund of monies paid.  
4) Call the Ocala County Clerk and get a copy of a "Statement of Claim" (a summons) and take these people to Small Claims court. Be sure to keep all documentation from your CC company when you card was charged.  
5) Never use techsavings.com, emscomputing.com or lowestpricetech.com again. (all the same company). Post as many negative reviews as possible online. Notify Pricewatch.com to remove techsavings from their postings.

The item was on back order, but they charged my CC immediately. I phoned and cancelled my order. I checked my CC statement and the charge was never credited back. I've phoned on several ocassions, but it's 4/1 and still no credit.

Quality comes at a price. That sums TECHSAVINGS up in short. Just like most of the reviews for this company, I'm going to have to post a negative one. Although I havn't waited 3 months for my part to arrive or spent hours on hold, I still am dissatisfied with the TechSavings customer service. After ordering from them after finding they had the cheapest price on Pricewatch, I received a great looking email with my order information and an assurance that I would be getting updates on my order shortly. I did not receive anything for about 5 days so I decided to call them up. Surprisingly I got through on my first try. I was told that it was still in their "72 hour" proccessing and I would get an email from them when it was ready to be shipped, which should be no later than the next day. When that email didn't come I called them up again and spent about 15min. waiting to talk to someone. Finally I did talk to another person and was told that it was being assigned a warehouse and it would ship no later than 48 hours. I got a form letter email saying they were working on my order but no details. After waiting another two days I called and again and they said I should be patient and just wait for the shipping email since their warehouse was bogged down. Supposedly when I called them today it has shipped yesterday, but no email with the tracking # yet. If only I had checked this site first. Although they have cheap prices and thousands of each item in stock, their ordering process is very slow and they don't communicate at all. I'll pay the extra #10 bucks and go somewhere else next time

Damn, like so many others, I wish I knew this site existed before ordering from this company. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THESE PEOPLE. After finding they had the cheapest price (on pricewatch.com), I ordered an Antec Case (900+ in stock) from this pathetic company. After placing a different order with gameve.com, they invited me to rate my experience on this web site. Out of curiosity, I checked the reviews for Tech Savings, and then felt sick. I waited a week, sent e-mails, and my case never shipped. Of course, they charged my cc immediately. On top of that, they have the nerve to charge you a 5% cancellation fee. I think that may be the only way this company makes money. Force people to cancel their order, never intending to ship the ‘in stock’ item, any collect 5% each time.

Ordered an Antec case on 2/17 recieved it on 2/27. They charged my credit card right away. I called and emailed them as to the delay, they kept telling me the order was at the warehouse??  
When the case arrived, two plastic pieces where broken on the inside. I emailed them and received no response.  
(Glued on the pieces and am keeping the case).  
I will not buy anything from them again.

After submitting the order on 2/27, they charged my card, and did nothing for 12 business days. I called them on 3/17 and they refused to upgrade my shipping, only that they would flag my order as 'high priority', whatever that means. They estimated delivery within another 5-6 business days. Completely unacceptable! They are charging new orders to pay for old orders!!!  
 
Update: After telling me they would ship the order on 3/19 via FedEx 2-Day, the order still had not been shipped on 3/21, so I canceled it. On 3/24 they sent an email saying they would credit my account in 5 to 7 business days. Unreal.

Called my bank, USAA, filed a dispute, my bank refunded my money and is now pressing MasterCard to investigate this FRAUDULENT company.

I wish I had checked everyone's reviews before ordering with Techsavings. They charged my credit card, sent me an invoice, and then nothing happened. It's the 17th of March now, and I've been on hold for 35+ minutes... Do NOT order from this company!

Very disatisfied. Vendor charged card immediately and failed to ship product. After a couple of phone calls and an e-mail I finally learned that they apparently don't have the product in stock and couldn't guarantee a delivery date. No reputable company charges a card without shipping the product - avoid this merchant.

First off, ordering from them is a fraud-like manner. They charge your card and do not ship at all. If you are going to be and on-line reseller, you should have items IN STOCK and be well prepared. I've heard too many lame excuses about no items in stock, backorder, excessive orders, etc... I can go on forever. Second, cancelling your order is a hassal. It has been more than 2 months is this is the reply I got on 4/28/03!!

We have had a couple of months where we were not able to ship in a timely fashion because of the delays with our distributors. We are able to credit only a certain amount every day and once we hit that amount we are unable to continue crediting  
which is causing an even bigger delay, and upsetting a lot of our customers. I want to apologize and let you know that this will be taken care of for you and I have turned this particular situation over to the supervisor of my

Liars Liars Liars. They kept saying that they had my Antec Case and they were shipping it that day. They said this for two weeks until they told me it was backordered. Then they told me it had been backordered for 3 weeks. THEN they told me when something is backordered that they get it within 2 weeks, which would mean that they SHOULD have had it allready. LIARS LIARS LIARS. And if your going to call, be prepaired to wait for at least 15 minutes. They need to hire more help.

I've been waiting 4 months now for a refund. I feel fortunate that these turds only beat me out of $71. I'm going to enjoy keeping up with the arse drilling these guys are going to take now that the feds are involved. Also, I've noticed another online company with ridiculously low prices. They too are located in Florida and are called ETechWarehouse. They receive the same type complaints as TechSavings. Are these companies one in the same?

I was absolutely appalled by the lack of service and ineptness of their processes. I ordered an Antec case on 02/22. As of 03/05 the order status on their site said it still hadn't shipped. I braved their thirty minute hold time to speak to a representative. They assured me that they would get it shipped out the next day. As of 03/11 according to their site it still hadn't shipped. I was about to brave the high hold times again to cancel the order when I received the case on 03/12. Their site still said it hadn't shipped. Unless you don't mind waiting in uncertainity for the product and enjoy being on hold for long periods of time. I would think twice before ordering anything from these people.

this place is horrible. i placed an order for an antec case, because they had the best price.i ordered from 4 other online stores, and i recieved, the motherboard, processor, and every other component before my order had shipped. i canceled my order on feb. 13, 2003, and i still havent recieved credit back in my account, the date now is mar. 11, 2003. ive called and spoke with tech support, and they tell me it will be credited within the next couple of days, and that was last week. DO NOT SHOP THERE!

I've canceled the order 3 weeks ago. Now I cannot get my money back from them. Again, lame excuses. Did anybody successfully get money back?
