SLOW ORDER PROCESSING! DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAIL!
TechSavings.com took 5 business days to get my order to UPS, even though the item was in stock. TechSavings.com's policy page states that the order will be processed within one to two business days. After dropping the ball, TechSavings.com could have saved face by overnighting the item, but did not. TechSavings.com did not respond to any of my emails.

Wish I could say what I feel, but they would not print that. Beware of this place! What good is a low advertised price if they will not ship it?!? Gosh, I hate to have to deal with people like this!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! This company is deliberately dishonest and has consistently failed to delivery merchandise to many of it customer after they have taken their money. In late Sept I ordered 3 17" monitors and flash memory from techsavings.com. It took 5 whole days before they shipped [I'm not even complaining about that]. When they arrived [2 wks later] they had sent the wrong monitors. After a frustrating series of email and phone calls, they finally admitted that they had made a mistake and issued an RMA and told me to reorder the correct products [i.e. charge my card again]. I told them that they should issue a UPS call tag and replace these monitors with the right models upon receiving. Again, this was like pulling teeth - another round of emails and phone calls. They verbally told me that call tags would be issued 3 times and after weeks had gone by with no confirmation I called and called and asked for a refund - finally someone admitted that nothing had been done and they assured me that call tags would be issued right away. Later, I was told I would have to wait 5 to 7 business days for pick up. This was getting to be pathetic as I had purchased these monitors for a client and they were needed ASAP. I called UPS who confirmed that pickups for call tags generally take a few hours. I demanded confimation that something had been done [call tag #, shipping #, etc.] - none was supplied. They were essentially stringing me along and telling me lies. I spoke to a number of people and it's appearent that this is a systemic problem with this company. They are happy to charge our credit cards, but systematically drag their feet on shipment, are dishonest about returns and refunds, etc. Currently, there is no way to track order status on their website. They told me today that they are "working" on that. I still haven't received my merchandise. These people are crooked! Right now, I want my money back [refunded to my credit card] and I want this company to be investigated, punished, hindered from doing business like this. This is pathetic and wrong. They should loose their license to sell merchandise! They know what they are doing and it is deliberate. There are tons of complaints against this company on the Internet [I wished I had checked before placing my order]. There are even more complaints against "EMS Computing" which it turns out is the same company.

We made an order with techsavings.com this past weekend too. After not getting a shipping number, we called up. Guess what.. they gave us the same BS excuse they gave "chinesetakeout6`" which was they are behind after a volume of orders this weekend. Which is what led me here. I did some digging and they DO use the exact same database as emscomputing.com.. SO, we're going to give them until Friday to make good. Because myself, and all my frat brothers are going to Gainsville for an event for the entire upcoming week. We're meeting up with 3 other chapters of our frat there. EMS or Techsavings or whoever they are will be FOUND by us, and if they haven't made good by Friday, we'll get more than our money back. We know they read this, they will be seeing us. We hope it'll be for a friendly "Thanks and great job!" but if not.. they won't like dealing with a few hundred pissed off bro's. Dig?

Seems that everything said here by people is true on the bad side, they hadnt shipped yet 3 days given for that which is reasonable and the reason given was a large volume of orders this weekend, too bad i ordered before this weekend, and they didnt notify me about the delay with email, account was said to be credited but ill see as it sounds like that is problem with this company. i guess ill just pay a bit more with someone else as i like to get my order...

This was my first order from this company. The 4.1 Altec Lansing speaker system that I ordered was available for a much better price than any other company I checked through PriceWatch. The shipment arrived in good condition and there were no problems with the speakers. The only complaint I have is with the time required to ship out the merchandise. I ordered by internet on Oct 16 with the understanding that it would be shipped in 24-48 hours. After being advised that it would likely be shipped on Oct 21, I had to call on Oct 23 to check on the order. They had shipped it on Oct 23 and I received it on Oct 25 by UPS ground from their NJ warehouse. Overall, my experience was favorable by the delay in shipping was just annoying.

BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!
I cancelled my order with EMS to then order from here. Now I see on my credit card statement that I have ANOTHER charge from EMS. "10/21/02 EMS COMPUTING INC GAINESVILLE." KEEP away from both companies (or this company as ems and techsavings.com are the same). These companies shouldn't be allowed to be in business. READ the reviews on EMS and you won't want to order from them.
On the original credit card charge (which I placed the order with EMS) I had, the support number was 800-475-6775 (which you can look on techsavings to see that is their number), on the NEW order the support number listed on the charge on my statement is 800-649-6792. I asked their sales agent if he knew who ems was and he denied it. HA HA that's funny

This is my second purchase. Good, Better, and the Best. I needed a motherboard and quick, but I needed a board with SCSI, not something at the local BestBuy. I called them and Karen made a suggestion. I took her advise and boy was I glad. The one I was looking at before I called only had one SCSI channel, but she found one with two and for only $3 more :) Thanks Karen. Wee needless to say, I am happy with the purchase and the service I received.

WORST place I've EVER PURCHASED FROM ONLINE! PERIOD! I don't get a tracking number for 1 1/2 weeks. Call the CSR on a friday. HE says it'll ship Friday or on Monday and I'll get a number. Tuesday comes and nothing. I call and the new CSR says they'll Definitely ship on Wednesday. Now it's THURSDAY and still no tracking number. Call again. NEW CSR says they didn't ship but "She'll take care of it and make it a top priority" BULL CRAP! This place is a BIG RIP OFF. STAY AWAY. Just like what the other reviews SAY.

AS EVERYONE HAS PREVIOUSLY SAID, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! READ REVIEWS ON EMS COMPUTING FIRST!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!! I mailed a money order in the amount of $440.08 for a monitor, hard drive and speakers. They wrote me and told me that they had received payment on Sept. 3rd. That was the last time I heard from them. They never responded to ONE email I sent them. I filed a complaint with Florida's Dept. of Ag. and Consumer affairs, and have begun to threaten EMS with some legal action. Now, they're finally saying that the check is in the mail. Not that that means anything. I'm still considering legal action against them because the way they are conducting business is clearly illegal. I've lost time and money because of their horrendous and shady business practice. AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. STAY AWAY FROM EMS AND TECHSAVINGS.COM!!!! DANGER!!!!!!

Ordered a speaker system and Antec case from them, both heavy items. I received discounted shipping and the price was $30 to $70 less than the competitors. They arrived in two shipments, 4 and 7 days after my original order (I used ground shipping). I am extremely happy with my shopping experience and I would not hesitate to use them again.
Another poster mentioned their relationship with EMS Computing. I agree, the content looks awfully suspicious, and there does seem to be something there. However, they are not exactly the same. For example, the Antec PLUS1080AMG case I bought was $96 at TechSavings and $135 at EMS Computing. It may be that TechSavings is an attempt to lose their bad reputation. If so, they are off to a good start as far as I'm concerned.

Product Arrived very Fast, as advertized in perfect condition. When the shipping notification arrived to my email address (which is always up) the UPS driver was ringing my doorbell with the package! Gives me chills to think about it... I give Tech Savings 5 smileys :) :) :) :) :)

This is the same place as EMScomputing, just check both websites and they're exactly the same. Do a search for EMS and you'll see how people think of that place. They are scam artists.
