This was a HORRIBLE experience! I ordered a 500gb external SATA HDD from these people. I received the order initially around a week or so after I placed the order, which wasn't terrible. However, it was entirely the wrong order! It was a totally different HDD than the one that I had purchased and the size was half of what I had ordered. I immediately emailed them. I stated in my email that I would NOT pay for return shipping to ship them an item back that I didn't even order. The worst part was on the packing slip some guy had initialed in several places that he had checked the order and it was correct!! Where do they find these people?? Their advised me to view their returns policy, which states that any return shipping is paid for by the buyer. I emailed back and informed them that either they would send a return shipping label or I would be forced to open a claim for a fraudulent charge with my bank. Only then did they agree to send a return shipping label. You'll notice that the original order date was 10/15. Today, 20 days later, I finally received a hard drive back, and... YOU GUESSED IT!!! STILL THE WRONG HARD DRIVE!!! I even attached a link to the exact picture on THEIR website of the one that I ordered with my RMA form!! I've been through so much with these idiots already that since this one is at least the right size, I'm just going to keep it. However, the one I ordered looks completely different, comes with a stand (this one didn't), etc and I named all these things to them during the RMA process. I will NEVER deal with this co again and if you are smart, u shouldn't either.

Ordered a system without OS.  
Took three days to load OS and got "blue screen of Death". NO manuals for motherboard. Sent it back to 3Btech at my expense. Their response was they was no problem with it but they rearranged the memory strips and turn the card reader right side up. The front cover was broken in return transit. They failed to put packing around computer in internal box. Sent me a new case so I must install everything my self, what I paid them to do because I got tired of it. Vista now loaded and working but LAN hardware on motherboard will not recognize or find my home network, wear as my other 5 computers do so, without any problems. After 2 hours on line with tech support they said they could not fix it and it was my problem as they felt the hardware was working. I have now taken it to a local shop for repairs, again at my expense. For the addition $100.00 it cost me I could have built a much better system myself. I will never buy a system from them again. A good thing was they did spent at least 4 hours on the phone and replaced the case when they broke it. They did pay for shipping on the return trip to me and for the shipping on the new case. I also will never buy Intel CPU or ASUS motherboard again.

Purchased a 22" Samsung HDTV known as the "Touch of Color" because of its jewel bezel with some built in lighting. That said, the bezel looks like it was dragged around the floor. It surely has more scratches than one I'd pay $222 at a pawn shop for. The entire four sides of the bezel appear to have been sanded.  
The TV works, at least I assume it does. I wouldn't purchase anything else, ever, from this company again. One could argue that the concept and promises of "refurbished" fell very short here, certainly not brought back to factory standards.

My order was processed and shipped in an average amount of time. It arrived in good condition. That's where the good times ended. The cool pad turned out to be junk. The plastic was warped and the fans were mounted crooked. There's no way I could give that to my friend so I went to a local store and bought one that wasn't crap. While I can't blame 3bTech for shoddy workmanship I can fault them for selling junk. I give everybody one chance and they had theirs. The odds that I'll buy from them again is slim to none.

I ordered a barebones special which included a "refurbished" ASROCK motherboard, a dual core processor, case and power supply. I purchased as parts because I was in Louisville KY visiting my daughter from CT, and I had limited time. I put all parts together, but the motherboard was dead. I located a new motherboard and was able to make the processor, case and power supply work with the new motherboard, they would not work with the refurbished motherboard. I called 3B Tech and spoke to Tim in the RMA department. He stated I could only return the refurbished board for a replacement, would not give me credit for a BAD REFURBISHED motherboard. I would not have had enough time to wait to have another motherboard sent. I could not leave my daughter without a working computer. I advised 3B Tech of my time constraint before I ordered. I asked for a $20 credit and he said no, they only would send a replacement. I think it would have been reasonable for 3B Tech to give me a small credit for a refurbished motherboard which did not work! Stay away from this outfit! Note: I gave 3B Tech the opportunity to work with me before I wrote this review. I ordered the parts Monday afternoon, and received them Wednesday afternoon, for which they get A+. They just need to make sure the refurbished boards they sell actually work.

Ordered WD10evvs 1TB audio-video drive which is back ordered in many places. 52 hours later, I get an out of stock email. I responded to keep it on order. The next morning, they deleted the webpage and indicated they will not be getting any more of these. Looking at my charge card statement, they charged the amount at the time of purchase.

Bought a 200 gig Samsung internal hard drive. While I had the internet page in front of me as I was ordering, I asked the salesman 5 TIMES: "THIS IS A "NEW" HARD DRIVE, CORRECT?", "NOT REFURBISHED?". He assured me it was "brand new". Got the drive and it was refurbished. Written in big bold letters right on the drive. I called to complain, and of course they had nothing to do with the mishap. It was all my fault. I could have sent the drive back, but as most of you know, when you need a hard drive, you NEED a hard drive. So I installed it. It is now the first of July, 2009, and the drive just shit the bed. Of course, I was offered no replacement because it was "REFURBISHED", which is what I tried to avoid in the first place! Liars and cheats at 3B-Tech. I'll never buy from again, and would recommend everyone to STAY AWAY. If there's a God, they'll lose their shirts and go out of business. I now have to go through another saga of recovering all my lost data and reinstalling everything. Shame on you 3B-Tech!!!

My experience has been attrocious, It's been almost a week and I have yet to hear anything about when my order is supposed to arrive. I e-mailed their Business Accounts manager in response to his e-mail regarding my shipment being slightly delayed and I have yet to hear back from him 3 days later. I am greatly regretting my choice to do business here and would have to think long and hard before doing so in the future.

I ordered a case n it came in a timley manner free shipping, The problem was that it was dented in several places one of the dents where the top n sade come together was very bad, the problem with sending it back was it was promised to someone with which i had to take a cut in the price of the computer in exchange for the dents, I did'nt have the time to send it back, which would have been an even more added expence.

I placed an order on April 25th. The merchant's website says most orders ship same day but allow 3-5 days for assembly/testing of barebones systems. 5 days later on the 30th of April, 'Joel' from 3bTech contacted me by email to inform me that they were out of stock of one components (the case) and asked that I reply by email with instructions or call. I called the same day, and they were closed. I responded by email before the start of the next business day authorizing the use of a different similar part of their choosing.  
 
On the 6th of May (10 days since the order was placed) I received a phone call from 3btech calling to tell me that the case I ordered was out of stock and they wanted to know if they could substitute in a different one. I accepted this offer, and inquired as to why it hadn't yet been assembled and shipped based on the previous correspondence on the same issue. The person I was speaking with said he was unaware of any emails having been sent regarding the case being out of stock.  
 
Over the next few days I waited expectantly for an email with a tracking number, and when the weekend came, I resolved to call them on monday and cancel the order, but missed them because of the 3 hour time difference.  
 
Today is the 12th of May, and I just received a UPS tracking number informing me that my order is to be delivered on the 18th of may, 24 days after I ordered it.  
 
I'm am very dissatisfied with the speed of order fulfillment, the inefficiency the seller's communication - both external and internal, and by their overall failure to provide a reasonable level of customer service.  
 
I live in Washington State, but given the amount of time that has elapsed on this order, I could have driven to Indiana, assembled the system myself, then driven it home at a leisurely pace and still arrive 2 weeks before my order's actual delivery date.  
 
I feel like after I was contacted, either time or both, the person who contacted me should have taken it upon themselves to see to it that my order was expedited, considering the delay. The second time I was contacted I believe that a) an apology for the delay was in order, and b) he should have offered to let me cancel and/or offered some other type of token of good faith. Having not done any of these, I believe that it would have been an appropriate gesture for 3btech to take it upon themselves to upgrade the shipping speed.  
 
As it stands, it seems like the company tosses out their posted claims of always trying to provide the best service, the moment that the "confirm order" button is pressed.  
 
I don't feel taken care of as a customer.

I bought a motherboard from www.3btech.net An msi k9mm-v. The agp slot and all the pci slots do not work. I tried to exchange the item only to be ignored. This company is listed on pricewatch, so if you go online to buy electronics I suggest you skip www.3btech.net

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE!  
They're selling very poorly designed equipment. I bought a barebones system. The case wouldn't accommodate my DVD burners. I talked to 3BTech about it, so they told me to send the case back. You know what?.....they sent me the same model case back. Like that would fix it? Then I was told that they haven’t had any problems with it there. Baloney! By the way, it's a black case.  
 
Folks, stay with the major brands. Remember: cheap is the most expensive.  
 
I’ll just buy a new case on eBay, and try to sell this one, noting the problem.
