The purchasing of the Sager 3790 went well. I had bought a 3 year warranty as well. It is soon to expire in 4 months, and my notebook has been giving me blue screen errors. I contacted PC Torque, and they told me that the company that they had doing the warranties went bankrupt, due to the large numbers of Sager notebooks coming back to them. When I asked the customer service representative at PC Torque what to do, they said that they could not do anything for me and that the warranty was void. What this means is that PC Torque takes no responsiblility for honoring the 3 year warranty, I have no recourse but to send it back to Sager directly, who will give me 10% off of my repairwork. It is a shame that a company cannot back the products that they sell, so beware of buying anything that you expect to get a warranty with from PC Torque.

I am very happy with my recent purchase from PCTorque. This is a great place to get custom, powerful notebooks. Not only can you customize your order online, but PCT will call you to confirm your order, and if you have any additional requests or want to talk to them for any reason, this is when you can do it. If you want to get a really special notebook, and want the customer service to match, go with PCTorque. I am very happy with my two Sagers ordered from PCTorque!

For me PCTorque was the best notebook purchasing experience online. I ordered my notebook on a Tuesday night late (2am or so). I then the following morning got a call from them confirming my order. I opted for the next day delivery with UPS and had my system that Friday! Just amazing Ordered on Tuesday and received it on Friday. And I received the notebook in perfect condition. I love it and have been using it tons ever since. I am really considering purchasing another from them, and would highly reccomend them for your next computer purchase!

I have a good experience purchasing a Sager 4381, these guys told me everything clear. The service is fast, secure and easy. I live in Mexico and came in the deadline. I recommend this store for notebooks. The computer is awesome as others said. I have only a comment: They said I will receive tracking numbers by email. That never happen, elsewhere, I guess that is not a problem really. Very satisfied.

This was my second purchase through PC Torque in just over 2 years and although I believe that the ownership has changed hands between the two purchases, the personal attention has not. I needed a replacement computer quickly and was travelling. PC Torque was able to sort out all of the issues with international wire transfers, rushing the machine through build and then couriering it to my door in Singapore. The whole process took less than nine working days!  
 
I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend both PC Torque and Sager Notebooks.  
 
In relation to the Sager notebooks, they are fantastic performance machines, I’ve purchased three and all three have been delivered working and without dead pixels (without extra dead-pixel insurance). The two original 9860s from 2004 are both now dead although one was dropped. The other probably requires a new motherboard and therefore is probably fixable. They both worked extremely hard for their lifetime, with one being transported nearly daily for the two years. Not too bad for performance notebooks in my opinion.

Ordered a sager 7620-C, waited about 2 weeks, in which during that time, i got fast responses to my email inquires. Came on the expected date, everything inside, works better than i imagined, haven't seen anything wrong so far. A little heavy, but that was expected seeing how it is a desktop replacement, def. worth the purchase, seeing how I will be very dependant on it during college, would def. order more from them if i had the money

Ordered my Sager 9860 and received it about 5 days later. Awesome service! Quick response to inquiries and a great price on the notebook!!

Good pre-sales response in both product knowledge and response times.  
No problems with sale, shipped as expected.  
Received computer exactly as expected in full working condition.  
After sales follow-up questions were answered very quickly.  
 
I would recommend PCtorque to others. It appears they are more “computer” people than “sales” people, so if you want a lot of nice emails thanking you for your order and keeping you apprised of its status go elsewhere. If you want really fast and knowledgeable responses to your questions go with PCTorque. I had a (post-sales) support email responded to in 7 minutes this morning!

I work in the visual fx industry in london I needed a powered asap for a job. I dont know how but PC torque got sager to ship the same day. Brilliant!

Spent a lot of time researching laptops from this company and the other "high end" laptop merchants. My inquiries found that this company would really stand by me. I ordered on 19 November and informed them I needed it by Thanksgiving. They really came through. Prices for the most part were lower than their competitors and so far, the customer service has been first rate. It is my opinion that you can't go wrong with them.

First purchase from PCTorque, second Sager Laptop. Happy with both purchases, and I will buy my next Sager laptop from PCTorque as well.

I bought a Sager 3790-S on November the 16th from PC Torque and am very satisfied with both the computer itself and PC Torque. I live in California, so the first thing that made a good impression to me was the fact that they will ship to their office in Florida and re-ship the computer to me in California so I don't have to pay any California sales tax. Now that right there is true devotion to customers - especially since they do this for free.  
 
PC Torque was fast, at getting my order confirmation out and when I had to email them about a UPS tracking number they responded within minutes - not hours or days like my previous experiences with Sony. Their prices are superb and I truly feel like I get a good deal when I shop at PC Torque.  
 
From now on, I will buy all my laptop computers from PC Torque!

I recently purchased a Sager 3790-S from PC Torque. It was ordered on Nov. 10, 2004, and it was at my doorstep on Nov. 17, 2004. I didn't have much interaction with the customer service department, but that is a good thing. I consider a transaction smooth when I don't have to constantly email/call the customer service department regarding my order. That defeats the purpose of ordering online. I choose, order, pay, and expect it to be at my doorstep within an acceptable time frame. PC Torque delivered, and I have zero complaints.
