Beware of Henry's they will sell you open box items at regular prices. I bought a high-end Canon DSLR camera and when I came home I found out that it was open box because it was missing an accessory, and the plastic wrappers did not come sealed. When I explained that to them in one of the stores, they thought that it was my fault, and would not offer a refund or exchange unless I pay a restocking fee. Crooks!

Where do I begin?
GOOD PART
---------
Bought P-100 camera online for 299.99 +Tax while it said it was IN STOCK for SALE PRICE!!
Confirmation that order recieved and will be shipped out.
BAD PART
--------
After a week email them and tell them I have no tracking number. Then told it is out of stock but after they get some more of the item they will ship out the item.
Three days after that, recieve a notice that reads this:
"It is with great regret that I have to inform you that we are unable to fill your online order placed over the boxing-day weekend, for the Sony DSC-P100 Digital camera. Our stock levels were depleted very quickly as a result of the sale, much faster then we could have anticipated. While we hoped that by doing a company wide pullback we would be able to fill all orders, at this stage we have come to terms with the fact that we cannot. If you are receiving this email you will not be getting the P100. We have no more in Blue, or Silver"
I don't know what scam these people are pulling but I am NEVER GOING TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!!
If they did not have it in stock why did they say so on their website? Is it not up to date? Other companies had great deals, but I waited for this camera and after the Boxing day and Year-end sales are over, they are emailing me this notice!
BUYERS BEWARE! If Henry's sale price is too good to be true, it PROBABLY IS!!!
I know you will see more dissapointed customers as me. I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE!
As the previous reviewer said, Henry's offered camera's at 100 to 150 dollars more!
Oh Yah, that camera, they have available in RED on their website but they are not offering me it but instead offering me garbage! CHECK IT OUT! Sony P-100!!

Purchased a camera bag from Henry's through eBay, too. Win on 4/23, paid on 4/24, till 4/30 they just sent me an e-mail without any tracking number. After sending them an e-mail, they gave me the number finally.
But when I got the package on 5/5 (12 days), can you imagine that a camera bag(lowepro nova 5) comes without any dividers? and they didn't mention that on the web.
After argued with them, they said they failed to mention that on web that the dividers were missing. Oh..ridiculous! How dare they can sell a big camera bag without any dividers? And they would like to send me the dividers if i want. I thought that the coming dividers must not come from the original one. So I refused their suggestion and called my bank not to pay for them.
and I am going to return them the bag.
Don't buy from these guys and watch out for the used goods. call them and ask for more details. This review was modified by its author, ikelin, on

Purchased an item from Henry's through eBay. They charged for overnight shipping (which cost almost as much as the original item). After a week, when the item still hadn't arrived, I started e-mailing them. After they stalled for another week, I threatened to file a fraud complaint with eBay. That finallly prompted them to ship the item.

Ordered a Canon EF 55-200mm II lens from one of their Ebay auctions on Saturday. After realizing this was not the image stabalized version I sent an Email Sunday requesting the order be canceled before it shipped since they were not working the weekend. I get an Email Monday telling me it was too late to cancel the order. They told me that they had 250 orders to fill that morning and sent mine in before they read my Sunday Email requesting the cancellation and once it was sent in it could not be stopped?? This was only an hour or so later, I doubt the lens had already been packaged and placed on a truck and I'm guessing the order could have still been stopped.It was my mistake to order it to begin with but I would think you would check your Emails in the order they are received in which case all of this could have been avoided.They are willing to accept return of the item once it gets to me but now I'm out the shipping cost regardless. I'll probably just accept it an try to resell on Ebay but I didn't feel like they worked very hard to help resolve the issue. This review was modified by its author, brudez, on

I placed my order last week, and I have received no contact whatsoever for almost a week.
I sent an email for order status, and they told me that my order got cancelled due to credit card problem.
What make me feel bad is that they did not try to contact me at all to sort things out, but simply cancelled my order.

Ordered a pentax optio s5n online, decided 3 business days was too much time for any sort of status on my order and emailed to cancel. The site listed the item out of stock, then in stock, then limited supply, while not giving me any sort of notification regarding my order (which was listed in stock and shipping within 24-48 hours at the time I purchased)... They sure respond quickly when you want to cancel but take forever when you want to buy something. Lame. Waste of my time and had to order elsewhere. what a joke this online store is!
purchased an item from the used section, the day after i was told that my order had been cancelled because the item was sold already.
when i questioned why it was still on the website 2 days later they mysteriously found it, and said it would be shipped.
the next day i was told that the item was ready to ship but my credit card expiry date was wrong even though i know it was entered correctly. there response was hopfully nothing else is wrong so they can ship it.
now it is the 3rd day after ordering and it still hasn't been shipped.
we'll see how long it takes before they ship and how laong it takes to get to me in the same city with express shipping.
i wouldn't deal with this company again!
ps. total 3 days to ship and 2 days to arrive and to top it all off, the camera came broken (took it back in for a refund).

Henry's change their mind and shipped out several extra cameras. Although a little late, still very acceptable considering the circumstances. It appears they will put in a lot of effort for customer satisfaction.

i ordered a sony camera case LCS-VCC for my HDR-FX1000 camera. Item was reasonably priced, Out for shipping same day ordered, packaged well & arrived in five days. Will definitely dela with Henry's in the future.

I purchased a 28-135 minolta lens from Henry's, since the ones I've tried had a little 'grind' during zoom, and they didn't mention that the one they were selling had one.
I received the lens and yes it had the 'grind', which made me think maybe all of these lenses have it. I asked to return it, and they were very nice and polite about it, refunded my full cost and shipping BOTH ways, without even asking a copy of the receipt (of course the amount was on the shipped box itself).
You can see when a company is good when they have to deal with returns, and especially when they have to pick up the tab. Henry's were ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, the best service and treatment I've received from any online seller when I had a problem (B&H comes close).
Kudos to Henry's!

I ordered the ever elusive Casio Exilim EX-f1 slow mo camera. The item was received fast and packed well from Canada (I'm in the US). Thanks Henry's, I will definitely order again. Beware of other sham dealers from the New York area. Search Reselleratings for: Preferred Photo (scam) and ShopCartUSA.com (scam with fake ratings)

I purchased a LowePro filter case on Ebay through Henry's. A fair price and good delivery time. The product was in new (excellent) condition as advertised and they answered all my questions via email.

This is the second time I've bought from Henrys and this experience is even better than the last time. 2 transactions and I made a mistake each time which Henrys fixed up for me ... pleasantly ! They will have ALL my online business for camera equipment. I wish everyone could have the same "luck" as I've had with them.
