I had purchased a Nikon cooplpix s60 and the memory card slot was defective i called customer sservice to get it replaced, they were more then happy to help and they were able to exchange my camera within a week. least to say i was jubliant that they were able to help me so quickly.
I was really impressed with the sales department. They got my order quick, and it was really easy. Also, the tripod I recieved was really sturdy, I'm really glad it came with the camera
I purchased a 4 year extended warranty from them for a canon gl2 camcorder figuring that 1 year later the warranty company they provided me with wouldn't be out of business and I am out all that money. When they sell you a warranty from one company and it goes out of business they need to contact you and send you their new company that supplies their warranties. Not leave you in the dark not realizing that your warranty company went out of business when you actually need to use the warranty.....
hi, i had a magnificant experience with us1camera. I recently purchase nikkon camera and was pretty lost and the vast amount of technology involve in operating these gadgets. Rodney, a costumer service specialist walk me through the entire process and made it seem so simple. He was very professional.
Mixed experience here, but ultimately I received a brand new USA Canon SX20 IS so, for the price I'm good with it.
I did not experience the wait times when inquiring with associates at the shop that other people have expressed and was treated respectfully and got all info I requested.
The only real thing was how long it took. From purchase to delivery was 2.5 weeks. Considering I paid for rush processing on what otherwise would have been a free shipping item this was very disappointing. This is of course after being told that I would be upgraded to rush processing for free when I said I really needed it for an event. Needless to say I did end up paying for the rush and the camera did not arrive in time for my desired event. Very disappointing, but even with getting janked over on the shipping charge, I did receive the free accessory kit, camera and shipping was much less than I would've paid anywhere else.
Ultimately reliable: no.
Did I have a reasonably good experience: yes.
In US1photo's favor I have been jerked around plenty by big name retailers when paying a premium price, and until people who own companies actually start providing the service they preach I can live with it.
My item has not been shipped yet. I ordered it on the 30th and it's the 2nd. I was promised 3-5 day shipping...not sure how that's going to work out.
I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I ordered from this company and I am very afraid of having a bad experience.
UPDATE***
I kept in constant contact with the company and was open about my worries. I got my items on time so I am completely relieved!!!! I think if you want to just buy a lens or accessory then you're safer rather than buying a camera. I probably won't use this company again for fear of a bad experience, but they did fine this time around.

this was the first time I dealt with a online store that made me feel like I had been ripped off. I paid for lens and express shipping and handling so I could get it in just days, in didn't come in days, two weeks later. I tried calling their customer service, sells department, only to be put on hold no one would answer emails or the phone calls. what should had been excitement over getting a new lens, just gave me a pit in the bottom of my stomach. I would never buy anything from them again. I did get my len. but the anxiety over everything was awful. Never again.
BEWARE! I ordered a Canon 50D. It's says on the web page USA Model. Click on the wording and TaDa, it's an import from the UK. Received an OPEN box with the warrant card missing and the wall plug had a US adapter on it, take off the adapter and it's a UK plug. Called Canon and according to the serial number is most likely a NON US model. Canon also said that manual should be in English and Spanish for the US model, mine only was in English. Another tip off that it's from the UK. Canon did say that the camera is exactly the same as a US model, just no guarantee of warranty work (if needed). The Free shipping is a joke. Click on the words on the web page and again TaDa, there is a hidden $40 handling charge. I complained and they sent me a free battery (it’s not a canon model but an aftermarket brand). It took about 6 working days for them to ship the item to me. From the day I ordered it took 12 days to show up at my door. If no warranty is not a big deal, them I guess their low price is a bargain, Next time I’m shopping elsewhere. Consider yourself warned.
Update: the camera keeps displaying Error30. Talked to Kyle and according to him I can return it for a full refund. According to him I ONLY pay return shipping and my full amount on my CC will be refunded. I'll keep updated to see if this is true.
Final update (10/5/09): Guess US1 photo reads these reviews. I got a call from US1 on 9/29 stating they received my return and assured me I would get a full refund. They also asked me about my comments above and asked if I would post an update. I said I would as soon as my money has been refunded. True to their word today (10/5) my CC Company confirmed that US1 did refund my money. Today US1 again e-mail me to request I update my review (I was waiting for confirmation from my CC company before issuing a final review). So here it is. My advice is if you have any issues with them, post the concerns and call them. They seem very committed to addressing any issues posted here and seem to want to make thing right with the customers. With that said, please don't call me again US1 photo, I consider the matter closed.

I ordered a Nikon D700 body only and five days later was told they were unable to process any orders using American Express. They said it would be two weeks before they were able to process American Express cards again. I'm skeptical that this was truthful information.
I ordered the Canon Rebel T1i 19 piece kit and some extras. There were billing issues I was not able to understand so I called US1 Photo. They add items on your bill that were not discussed.Kevin at US1 Photo makes a lot of promisses but never comes through. People do not purchase anything from the company. Customer service is very poor. Buy from a local camera company and run from US1 camera

Very pleased with my purchase!
I ordered the camera on Monday (7/13/09)with 5-7 business day shipping. I needed my camera before I left the country the following Wednesday (7/22/09).
I called on the 15th to make sure my camera would be delivered before I left. The customer service was excellent. They confirmed that I would receive the camera by at least the 21st.
My camera ended up getting delivered 4 days after purchase!
Would definitely buy from again!

First of all you need to know they drop ship everything so don't expect much info on your order till it shows up at your day. I was warned that they would trick you into calling after the order to sell you over priced stuff like; batteries, memory card, warranty and they did. When you see a 5 star rating I don't know how they got these. Their best should be a 2 or 3. I don't think they have resources to give five star services. I ordered a D90 and 18 200MM camera. It was a "Gray Market". You need to go on line and read about "Gray Market" Nikon USA will not touch them as for as repair or Warranty. It has to be sent back to US1 Camera for repairs. I got my money back and felt lucky to do so. Pay the extra money to buy else where you will save the crap Do your own search for complaints. Note: Kevin called and took care of the problem; he even sent me a free SD card to make up for the money I paid to send it back

I placed an order on the website, after completing the purchase the website said there was a problem with the order and to call in. Upon calling in the sales guy, "Bob", tried to upsell me on some products (not a problem).
He then said ok, you're total now includes insurance for shipping of approximately $50. When I said that I had not agreed to it, he said that was standard policy. I said that there was no mention of insurance at the time of order, nor does their website advise of such policy, he said, i should be happy since their price was so low to begin with.
He said since I was a first time customer that we would reduce the "insurance" if I bought some extra products.
I ultimately canceled my order
This is a fly by night organization. Protect yourself by never making an order.
I placed an order with us1camera.com on 8-9-09. The salesman I placed my order with was dismissed from his position shortly after. This caused my order to be delayed and somewhat forgotten.
I contacted Thomas at us1camera.com on 8-14-09 with my concerns reference my order and not receiving any emails or tracking information for my package. He then explained to me what had happened with the salesman I had placed my order with. Thomas was very prompt with fixing the issue with my order and sent it out using FedEx Express. Not only that, Thomas was nice enough to refund a portion of the cost and give me a free camera battery for my troubles. Thanks Thomas, your customer service with me was very professional and prompt.
*UPDATE* 9-8-09
Ok, I've had the camera for about three weeks now and it's a great camera. BUT, I did not get the refund for shipping like I was promised from Thomas as of yet and I do not expect to get it. I also found out once I received the camera that it DOES NOT come with the manufacturer's warrantly. This was something that would have caused me to order elsewhere. I WAS told prior to ordering that it did come with the manufacturer's warranty. I might have returned the camera for a refund but I feared I would not receive my money back after reading the reviews about US1CAMERA not refunding customer's money after a return.
Honestly, after all of this, I am just thankful I received the camera. False promises and several emails and phone calls to get my order even shipped after I already paid will cause me to not use US1CAMERA again.
