I ordered a Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash + Deluxe Accessory Kit from Digital Foto Club through Buy.com and received all the contents except for the flash cord. The package said it was for Canon, but the item, which can be clearly seen, said it was for Nikon.

I emailed Digital Foto Club about the problem and within 24 hours, I received an email from them telling me they're "sorry for the inconveninence" and would ship me the "correct flash cord" for free. I received the package today (9/15/09) and sure enough, Digital Foto Club made the same mistake. I don't see how difficult it is to send me the correct item, considering the package isn't sealed and can be easily swapped out with the right item. Even worse is that I'm scheduled to go overseas within a few days and now I have to go buy a flash cord several miles away for several dollars more than what it's worth.

Bottom line, be careful what you pay for cuz if you get the wrong item, it's gonna be a royal pain to get the right one. Stick with an online retailer that has an excellent reputation.

Horrible! go somewhere else! refused to ship my item because my shipping address differed from billing. Person who called and told me this (nat) was extremely rude and hung up on me.

I know the concern about shipping to something other then billing address but the way they handled it was unprofessional and rude. They could of at least told me that when i ordered with them over the phone..

I originally purchased a RepairTech camera warranty from this company back in 2007. That went well, until the warranty company went out of business for poor business practices. I contacted the Digital Foto Club about the situation and they said they could honor the warranty themselves by servicing my camera for me. Sounded great! Until...
I mailed my camera to them for a cleaning in November. I waited. And waited. And waited to hear back from them. I finally got in touch with them 3 months later. They told me the camera had been sent to Fuji because they could not clean it "in-house" as they told me they would. Instead I would have to pay $80 to have it repaired. I regretfully agreed. Then it got worse...
I waited again. And waited. And waited. Another three months go by and I finally receive my camera back in the mail. Only it's not repaired. In fact, it's in worse condition than it was when I mailed it in for repairs! So I contacted the Digital Foto Club, assuming they would right this horrible wrong somehow. Some kind of compensation for this terrible ordeal. But alas...nothing. They would not do anything for me.
So, I'm really not sure what to think. They seemed like a decent company at first, but after my experience I would describe them as rather deceitful. I do not plan on doing business with this company again, and would advise anyone else to be weary of their practices.

FRAUD ALERT.
I ordered about $100 worth of camera equipt from them. I received my order OK. about a month later I had a fraudulent charge on my credit card. I am sure it came from digital foto club, because it was a one time use card. they had no way of knowing this. my bank stopped the charge, so I did not loose any money, but it seems that this is not the first time they have done this (search online info). either they are crooks, or have someone in their order dept that steals credit card numbers. be warned, you DO NOT want to risk it and shop with them.

Ordered Giottos Aegis Multicoated Professional Glass LCD Screen Protector for The Canon EOS-40D. Web states shipping within 24-48 hours. I send them a email on 17th asking what about my order which has not arrived-no response. I call them on the 22nd and ask about my order and they tell me it has shipped on the 11th and is in Denver right now in transit. I live in AZ. I ask them to cancel the order and refund my money. They state that if I want I can request an RMA when it arrives. On the 22nd I get an answer to my early email with tracking information and status. I paid through PayPal and so file a dispute for my money back-file claim. BIG MISTAKE USING PAYPAL-PayPal replies to my dispute that the vendor informed them that item is in transit and PayPal states that I must wait until it arrives before they make any decision to refund my payment-PayPal also sends me tracking info. So I guess I'm stuck here. I would stay away from Digital Foto Discount Club. I would use your credit card to order and stay away from PayPal as well.

Digital Foto Club is not an authorized Kalorik dealer. The item shipped to me was defective out of the box and they would not allow it to be returned to them for a replacement.

Kalorik has been unable to process the warranty replacement in the 30 days since the item was returned to them.

Do not purchase Kalorik products from this store.

FRAUD ALERT:
The credit card that I used to make this purchase was fraudulently charged by three other websites!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a Nikon SLR Camera on 12/5/08 for $ 264.83; before it was delivered I realize I meant to order a Digital SLR Camera

DigitalFoto gave me an RMA # 13360011 and I was able to refuse the package from UPS. (Keep in mind, I never touched the package). On 12/18/08 $ 215.87 was returned to my bank account.

$48.96 was charged to me for shipping including a 10% re-stocking fee. I was ok with the shipping cost, but the re-stocking fee is ridiculous.

The exchange policy is not easy to find, it’s listed at the bottom of the website. Furthermore the exchange policy isn’t disclosed to a customer at the time of checkout.

I now check the re-seller review on a site before I order anything. I haven’t ordered from a least 20+ online websites because of bad reviews.

Ordered a QuikPod on 12-3 from this company as a marketplace vendor of Buy.com. Item showed in stock, with 1-2 day order turnaround. Email on 12-9 that item was not in stock. One week for notification this time of year is absolutely unacceptable.

My credit card info was abused

I ordered an item on-line on 17 Nov 2008 for $58 from Discount Foto Discount Club, and eventually received the item. But when I received my credit card monthly statement on 28 Nov, I saw that on 19 and 21 Nov my credit card had twice been charged $99.99 as false claims from Ccbill.com, a company which services payment of on-line subscriptions. I contacted the Ccbill.com and was informed the two charges had used my correct charge card data, including the three-digit security code on the reverse.

The good news is that Ccbill.data had quickly determined that the transactions were fraudulent, and had refunded the total amount to my card, a fact confirmed by a telephone call to my credit card company. I had to cancel that card to avoid further false charges.

Reviewing my recent use of that credit card, I concluded that my recent credit card purchase from Digital Foto must have been the origin of this attempt to steal $198 from me. All other recent charges in my credit card history were repeat orders from reliable local vendors known to me. The order from Digital Foto stood out glaringly as the likely culprit. This impression became even more clear when I went back to the Digital Foto web site and found the company is located in Brooklyn, New York City, the home of many other companies described by ResellerRatings contributors as deceptive if not downright criminal.

Absolutely UNSATISFIED with their service...as far as I never was given any service! I called them to check the shipment expenses to Spain, and after a few tries I was finally transferred to talk to an agent called "Eli" ( eli@digitalfotoclub.com ) who gave asked me to send all my personal data (including my credit card and ID scan) by email (I blurred the last 4 digits and after called to unveil them by voice). It took me more than 30mins. to scan everything and prepare the mail...after that I haven't ever had a minimum response of any type! I called again to confirm that he had received my mail and he confirmed that everything was ok!...after a week without any news I sent them a message to cancel my order. This message hasn't been answered either...absolute lack of customer service...not even for gaining new sales! AMAZING!

HORRIBLE! All i have to say about this company is horrible. They jerk you around and won't let you speak to someone who can actually help you. I was yelled at and hung up on three times. Digital Foto Discount Club advertises fake prices to get you one their website. i placed an order for an item, a projection screen, for $400 dollars with free shipping. Then four days later i get a phone calling saying they won't ship the order unless they get $90 more dollars. When i asked why my order went though and why i recieved a conformation email and why my account was charged i was insulted by a representative named ken who said that they do not offer free shipping and if i could show him where it said that then he would honor it. I showed him the page and then the story changed again and i was told that was a mistake. when i asked what the company was going to do to make this right i was told by ken that he didn't have time for this and then proptly hung up on. After calling back and asking to speak to someone in charge i was told "no they don't want to talk to you" and then hung up on again. In no way was i rude to this person at all, he seems to have a very bad temper. Eventually i was offered to pay "just" $50 more than i already paid, which they claimed was at cost to them. After looking at other websites that carry the same item i found it at the same price that DFDC claims is at cost. So this brings me to the question do these other companies not make any money on the screens they sell? The answer is no they make money on them so it is obvious that DFDC is lieing once again about giving me a product at cost for my inconvenience. This company has no customer support besides one angry man so if you prefer to speak with a normal human being i would order from another company. I would reccomend ordering from thefinalclick.com instead of DFDC. I cannot stress enough how rude this company is and how i will never ever shop there again. I wouldnt be surprised if charges of false advertising and fraud were brought against them.

I ordered a Canon 77MM UV filter and was sent a 67MM B&W filter. I understand that mistakes happen.
I called Customer Service: they said they would email me a return authorization. Two days later when I received it, it did not include a return shipping label. If they sent me the wrong product I should't have to pay to return it so I called and asked for a return shipping label which they said they would send ne. Two days later when I didn't receive it I called. They said it was being mailed. ???
Four days later a self addressed stamped envelope with .41cents postage arrived in the mail.
Over the next four days, 3 associates (and 6 phone calls later) the associate huffed at me and hung up after mumbling something about sending me a refund. I never raised my voice and was VERY polite (I was trying to get a refund) and they were just rude. Everytime I called back and asked for a supervisor they were never available.
I did end up getting my full refund but who in the world wants to go through this to return a $29 filter. Never again!

RUN from this site. I placed an order.. they immediately charged my credit card and when nearly a month had gone by with no product I began TRYING to get in touch with them. The 800 number is a scam.. it told me they were either busy or closed.. so I faxed my request for an update. I also managed to get into a voice mail to leave my information and request some kind of update as to where my order was.
Over the next week I email at least 6 times finally received a tracking number.. only to find the shipment had been "recalled by shipper."
I continued to email.. and never heard from them again. Luckily I had checked out using Google Checkout and contacted them. They, in turn, contacted Buy.com and through their efforts I have finally been refunded my money.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I will post this review on every site I can find in hopes of sparing others the hassle I went through.

I found digitalfotoclub.com by using another website’s shopping comparison tool. I ordered a 50 Inch Plasma TV and received a confirmation email for my order. The item was on sale and included a 5% holiday discount. One week later I emailed to get a tracking number for the shipment. I received a reply email stating "Your order has been closed by our Verification Department after numerous failed attempts to contact you regarding the processing of your order." I double checked that they had my correct phone number and email address on the receipt I received, and they did. I shop online all the time and have never had to deal with a 'Verification Department'. I get the feeling they either don't have the item I purchased or changed their mind about selling it for the sale price they had advertised. I think it's a scam to lure people to their website from other shopping websites. And to add insult to injury, they put the blame on the buyer, trying to make him or her feel that they were at fault for not being available for contact. I will never shop at this retailer again. Beware low prices….it may be too good to be true.

Purchased a digital camera on March 30th. Received shipping notice April 1st. Two weeks later, no progress on tracking number. Called in. Package had NOT MADE IT OUT OF WAREHOUSE YET. Two weeks later, still no movement. Round and round I went for 2 months. Absolutely repugnant and disrespectful customer service (Bebe is great for turning CS into a NIGHTMARE), everyone I spoke to had a complete disregard for me as a paying customer. I've been buying things online since 2000 and I've never once ever had such a horrible experience with a company. As of today (July 17th) , I still have no camera and my $350 is still "missing." Soldiers and dependants beware, this company has no regard for you, your service or your business. I was told by "Bebe" that if I wanted "speedy service, [I] shouldn't have enlisted." I will never deal with this company again, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else. BUYER BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT ANOTHER CRAPPY E-TAILER WHO'S CONCEPT OF "CUSTOMER SERVICE" IS TAKING YOUR MONEY AND LAUGHING MANIACLY.
