The store had the Amplifier I was looking for beat by $50 and with free shipping. I heard it took forever to receive the order from other reviewers, so I called before I placed the order to make sure they had it in stock.
They shipped my order within 24 hours of purchasing and I received it today UPS Ground. I haven't tested it, but will be within the week I hope. I'll try and remember to update this rating.
Great store, speedy service, just call and make sure it's in stock before ordering.

Abolutely crappy customer service . I purchased a JL 441dsp cleensweep from them that was D.O.A. on 02/25/2008 . I shipped it back to them on the 13 of april and have yet to recieve my replacement or refund . AVIOD THIS STORE .... BEWARE . they have tons of BBB complaints against them !!!!

If only I've read these reviews then I wouldn't have fallen for it since the price were decent. This site is horrible, the buying part is very quick and seamless, however don't expect to get a quality product in a timely matter. I place an order day 1, and with 2nd day shipping, but did not get the product until half a month later. When the product has arrived, I quickly install and test, come to no surprise as it was dead on arrival. I immediately spoked to the Customer Services (which took about 2 days by constantly calling back and back and back 10 times an hour to get through.) The customer service seems to be clueless half of the time, told me to ship it back and they will immediately ship out a new product. I spent some time taking the product out and immediately Priority ship it back to them, and they have received the product 3 days later, but whenever I called to check on the status it is always the same reply, that its not "checked-in", this process took another 2 weeks for them to have it "checked-in" from their warehouse Once "checked-in", I received an email from the RMA department saying that I need to wait another 4-6 weeks for them to fix the product. They has given me an excuse that once you install they cannot exchange, but thats really BS because without installing, it is hard to tell if its working or not. In most instances you will not see the defaults until you have use for a week or so, which is why most company give you up to 14 days at least to be satisfy with the buy. Its obvious that this company is running a scam since 2/3 of the item I bought were defective in some way or the other. I would advice you not to shop here and look elsewhere for your product if you do not want to waste your time or money. I do agree you save some money but it is not significant enough to deal with these idiots.

Two or three points worth considering:
First, they have excellent prices and they shipped my speakers out quickly. I was very pleased at that point.
Second, I had to return a pair of speakers because I found from Crutchfield that though the diameter was correct, the depth was too great for my vehicle. It was hard to get a hold of anybody at the Customer Service number. I returned the speakers for exchange, but before my return got to them I found the speakers I wanted at Best Buy. I e-mailed them and asked that they not ship the speakers and forbade them to charge me any extra -- but they shipped and charged anyway. Since then it has been impossible to contact Customer Service. I am sorry I ever dealt with them. I sent an e-mail this morning that if I don't have a refund within 5 business days I will have to contact Visa to initiate a chargeback.
Finally, I had some harnesses/adapters on my order originally, and they were back-ordered. This was not communicated to me until the package arrived and they were not in it.
It's very sad for a store to do so well in one area (price) and to completely miss the mark in others (communication/customer service). I suppose maintaining a minimal crew of CSRs helps to minimize their prices.

Ordered Pioneer Premier TS-D801P from onlinecarstereo. Order shipped quickly and they arrived new in box with everything. I do not have an amp just looking for something a little better than stock speakers. The Pioneer speakers are working out well.

This is the worst I have seen so far for a business. I order two items since feb 21 2007 today is march 3rd and it still has not been shipped. I emailed them got no reply. I tried calling about 6 times no one answered , what kind of customer service is that? They claim they cannot cancel orders by email but how what other way can you reach them? maybe I should fly from Pa to their office to ask a question! Seems like 9 out of 10 people are very disatified with them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Ordered 1 Alpine Type R 12" subwoofer so far, and also have another in the mail right now. The order was shipped on Feb. 4th and I received it on the 5th as promised. Warning do not order from Onlinecarstereo, for starters, I ordered a kenwood KAC-9103D amp and a AUDIOBAHN AW1205N it took them 5 days just to email to tell me i had to clear a credit card issue, secondly its now the 29 of nov and after all this time the audiobahn was on back order for about 1 1/2 weeks as i checked my status they took and removed the order without even contacting me my order just disappeared, so I went over to thediscountmall and found my product cheaper and showed me a in-stock status.
So for everyones sake DO NOT ORDER FROM ONLINECARSTEREO, and also the customer service personal are EXTREMELY RUDE!!! This review was modified by its author, roylizchar, on

The speakers were advertised as 4-way when they were 3-way and as having a 93 db sensitivity rating when they only had a 90 db sensitivity. Don't do business with them unless you really know what you are getting. Very poor return policy as well. Any company that won’t take back speakers after installation even if defective has something to hide. I can understand not taking back damaged speakers but you really can’t tell if a base speaker works until it is properly mounted.

Excellent pricing, fast service. Sent an email telling me to notify my bank that I was using a different shipping address, then processed the order when I told them the bank knew I always shipped to that address.
No gimmicks. Best price and free shipping as order was over $99. Order was received in a week in perfect condition.

Buy your electronics elsewhere! These people are awful. I ordered a Panasonic CD/MP3 player as a gift. The website showed the model I wanted as in stock, and I received an email verifying the order. Apparently they were out of the model I ordered, even though the website still show the model in stock three weeks later. Without contacting me, they sent a completely different model without the features I needed. The first rep I spoke to questioned my NEED for these features (aux input for MP3 player and no flip-face because it would hit the standard-shift lever when open). He would not let me return the unit. On the next call I was relieved to hear a different rep agree that it was not right for them to ask me to keep a stereo that I did not order. He called the shipper to pick it up and promised a full credit to my account. Several days later I got another email saying they would keep $24 in fees (for their mistake!) I called again only to have a rude jerk tell me I was lying about my reason for returning the stereo. I had even offered to pick another model if they would only give back the $24 in credit. Barely speaking English he garbled some more insults at me and hung up. This place does not deserve to be in business. Maybe you can be one of the lucky ones who can get his stereo order from onlinecarstereo.com without any problems. But, in my opinion it is not worth the risk. From now on I will gladly pay a few dollars more and buy from a reputable company. The customer service reps at onlinecarstereo are belligerent people and the companies business policies are questionable at best. This place won't be around very long.

This was the second "attempted" purchase from onlinecarstereo.com. The first purchase i made was on the weekend and noticed that it had not shipped yet by the time wednesday called around. So they said it was on backorder which they failed to notify me. So i had a customer service REP cancel my order and i ordered a different amplifier. I called the next day and they said that was on backorder as well. If the website can't even mark when a product is on backorder on the site they don't deserve my business.

The website looks real proffesional but these people suck. I called to cancel my order after it taking my order to long to ship, and after reading the reviews on this site. The person I talked to on the phone was very rude. Avoid ordering from these people and go with another website like woofersetc.com and no I do not work for them.
