This company is a hoax. You won't find out from them what brand of memory exactly they sell. I wanted to buy their "Samsung" memory and after spending 10 minutes on phone eventually gave up as I could not figure out whether the memory module is made by Samsung or they only put Samsung chips in it. Their customer service is ridiculous.
This is my second order from Buyaib.com. Although there are some negative reviews about this company, I still took chance to order again. The price for one 1GB PC2100 266MHz DDR is very competitive, almost half price of local retail store. Also, They offer free shipping!! Great price!! Would recommend this company to friend or family always.

WHAT a lame-ass vendor...
Do yourself a favor and don't buy ANYTHING from this place.
I've been buying computer parts online for four years now, spending an average of 2-4 thousand annually, all ordered online from different vendors, and these guys have THE WORST notification/order verification 'system' I've ever been unlucky enough to order from.
I have also used the same card to order these things, and not one other vendor has a problem with it. I gave this vendor my order, correct card info(everything they asked for),etc. and they emailed me promptly the next day..... to tell me that my order was CANCELLED>
with no explanation.
Don't let these idiots waste your time as they did mine. Spend your money somewhere they actually TAKE orders and SELL equipment, not just pull your chain.
It seem one of my ram was a bad stick, ordered 2 PC133 512mb each. OMG! what a ripoff, but here the kicker when sent back they say it was good. How in the world what they mean by that? LMAO. so sad, yet so deceiving of them... just say they can keep and they said ok. What ya know, burning a few or as many they like as a way to profit from the consumer. Pretty cool right?
Not.
I understand they are desperate to make $$$ but plz at least have a working component to satisfy us poor fella who has very low income.
Shipped wrong product, upon returning the product instead of shipping the right memory, they cancelled the order and charged re-stocking fee. What a FRAUD!!!!
This was long ago, unsure on date and I have no idea on invoice.
Purchased two Western Digital MDT hard drives.
MDT is a company which sells refurbed HD's. I did alot of research after getting burned on MDT.
Contacted AIB, which took a week to get someone to answer the phone. I explained to them that they are actually selling refurbed hardware, to which they replied that I didn't know what I was talking about. They would not admit to this at all. Also, within one month from purchase, one of these HDs went bad. It seems like this business is being run out of some idiots house.
Very bad experience!!! This site should be shut down for false advertising!! Said that micron ram was 33.00 pc2700 256mb. If you upgrade to next version it is +15.00. Ok, so i did that... the total was 58.00!!! HOW? That added 25 not 15. Shipping was free so it wasnt that. Ok so I emailed them 3 TIMES!! NO RESPONSE. NO CORRECTION ON MY CREDIT. Then I got the ram and it was supposed to include a heat sink. NOPE!!! I emailed for a missing part order.. NO CONFIRMATION STILL TO THIS DATE!!!
Yep same as all the stories you'll be reading below, I ordered my ram, instantly charged, put on *will ship in 2-3 days* and was never shipped. I've had less luck calling than everyone it seems like. I've never reached a person yet at either of the numbers and the email I send gets returned saying the account was disabled. It's now Jan 12th and so far the papers have been filed with the cred card co to dispute the charge, still havnt gotten ahold of buyaib, and my order status is still will ship in 2-3 days. So I suggest the thought of buying from them never enters your mind even if they are giving away $1000 to the next order.
Have purchased items from this company before. However this is the last time. I ordered a single stick of memory from them. Today is 9Jan04, and the memory is still not in. Why does it take the company so long to drop a single stick of memory in the mail? I live in Arizona and the company is in California. Why the long wait? I do not think the post office is that slow...........STILL LOOKING FOR MEMORY>>>>>
This company is the worst. I ordered my memory on 12/10/03, they charged my credit card the next day and as of today (1/6/04) i have not rec'd my order! I have called them over and over with either the run-around, hanging up on me, or no answers. Filed a dispute with my credit card yesterday. good luck to me.
I just hope anyone reading this is doing so BEFORE doing business with this "company"! Unfortunately, I ran across this site too late. I was building a machine for my mother as a present, and as I was starting to get a bit low on funds, I checked pricewatch.com for some bargain RAM. I ordered their AIB256DDR/PC2700 256MB PC2700 333 MHz Intel P4 & AMD 184Pin sticks(2 of them). It took them a while to arrive, and once they did, it had a very cheap look and feel which made me wary to begin with. I tried to install each one. The first was DOA. The second caused a buffer overflow when trying to install Windows XP. This was verified by installing them on my main computer as well, just in case their may have been a problem with the new board I had. I sent them both back and was hit with that infamous
%15 restocking fee. Pay the extra cash for Kingston memory! Never send these scammers money, or your bank account will be lightened by them. By far this is the worst company I've ever did business with on the net. Thank goodness I only sent them fifty bucks.
Purchased memory through Pricewatch, and was defrauded. They shipped what was supposed to be a 1GB PC3200 DDR400 memory chip with a heat spreader on it and put this label on the heat spreader. When it didn't work, I removed the slip-on spreader and found out the chip was clearly marked as PC333 - not 400. I slowed down the memory and it still did not work even though the specs were exactly what was called for. I tried calling them and it took about 15 tries for someone to answer the phone. They told me to call back in 5 minutes. I did and they would pick up the phone and then hang it up again. After doing this for two days, I went through their return policy and shipped back the chip within the alloted time. I know they received it because I have the delivery confirmation and cannot contact them again. If they finally get back to me, I will let people know -- but at this time, it is nothing but frustration.
