Quick service via website. Not-so-quick to navigate tho.

I was looking for a high end audio item and found Marketek carried what I was looking for, and the price was fair. My order was filled promptly and arrived quickly. I would definitely order from them again. Thank you Marketek!

Order came quickly although shipping seemed a bit high.

Well designed website, easy to navigate, really liked being able to buy audio cable by the foot,  
like an old fashioned hardware store.

I know I can always depend on Markertek. I've bought stuff from them for years and it always arrives BEFORE they promise. Plus, I've never gotten the wrong thing or had to send something back.  
 
I always check them first for price and 9 out of 19 times Markertek is the least expensive vendor.

Considering this is a "computer" website, I found it to be not so user friendly. I ordered my item and at the time of the order confirmation, was not informed it was back ordered. I used my pay pal account and received an email confirming the order and stating it might be held for credit verification or if necessary information is needed to confirm(??) After a couple of days, still no shipping confirmation. I checked back and discovered then the item was back ordered. I canceled the item at that time as I no longer needed it. I wouldn't say the experience was terrible, but I didn't think it was very competent.  
 
Addendum: 9/29/09 the company was nice enough to offer me a $25 gift certificate for my troubles after reading my review. For that I have to revise this and give them a thumbs up.

It took 12 days from the time I ordered this until the time it shipped. No notice that it was on backorder ot anything - as a matter of fact, the order confirmation indicated it would ship the next day. Very bad, very unacceptable.

Everything was great, no problems with order.

Always accurate, effortless and quick! Never a problem and the customer is never ignored. The order information is provided in a straight forward and easily accessed manner. Backorders are automatically filled when they become available without hassels. Prices are reasonable and often better than other outlets. Markertek continues to be an excellent resource for a wide variety of items needed to produce documentaries and other video projects. It's the first place I look to find that special cable, adapter or other item that solves the small problems and challenges we encounter. Quality, selection, service, and follow up are all the traits Markertek provides to us. I consider them an important part of my team, especially when we configure new gear for a project. Don't go changing! ;-)
