Terrible Service! Ordered cables for a job, made sure they were in stock, made sure they could be delivered in time and you know they rest. Not only did they not deliver on time, they never shipped. Funny thing, they did charge my credit card. When I called to find out where my cables were, the new salesman said the order was placed on hold and they were waiting for me to call them. When I asked why the salesman said he had no idea. So the order was not going to be shipped until I called back? The salesman said, "Ooops. Sorry about that. We apologize." Meanwhile another week will go by before new cables arrive and 3 video clients are super ticked off.

The markertek site inaccurate regarding items I ordered. I called to confirm the item wes-1892 and made the order. It was to include the item frame and two fabrics, as stated in two places on the site. I asked for 2nd day shipping as well. When I received the item it consisted of the frame only and was shipped ground and came 2 days late. I called markertek and they said it was a "typo" and they are not responsible and made me a very poor offer of a small discount for the correct merchandise, even though the errors were clearly all on their part. I offered to split the difference and this was rejected by a manager. This company does not sell what they advertise, they have poor customer service, and do not follow up with their customers. I will not be doing business with them any more-ever!

I ordered some video converters (to the tune of $2000) and requested FedEx overnight shipping. They were unable to compelte my order due to the fact that my shipping and billing addresses did not match. However, nowhere along the way in the ordering process did I ever receive warning of such a policy. By the time they contacted me, the time had passed to make FedEx overnight for the day. When I connected with the customer service representative, he was rude and insisted that there were warnings as to this policy (which there were not). I was upset that my order had not been fulfilled, however, there is no excuse for bad customer service. Never again. This review was modified by its author, mercerman, on

It took 12 days from the time I ordered this until the time it shipped. No notice that it was on backorder ot anything - as a matter of fact, the order confirmation indicated it would ship the next day. Very bad, very unacceptable.

Product arrived as advertised. Ground shipping to Seattle area was very long - 7 days. Have had problems in the past with incorrect items being shipped, but this order came through without any problems.

Dear Markertek,
My stuff arrived in okay shape, although the plastic bag you shipped my foam in was torn on arrival.
You guys charged me over $65 to UPS my foam to me -- and then just stuck it in a plastic bag. I expected cardboard for that kind of money.
The foam is in good shape, albeit a little dirty, so no harm done, I suppose.
Please reassess charging so much for shipping, if you're only going to "glad-bag" the order.

Please accept our apologies for the wear and tear on your shipment from NY to CA; we used the most economical packaging for an oversized shipment and refunded a significant portion of your shipping costs.

Considering this is a "computer" website, I found it to be not so user friendly. I ordered my item and at the time of the order confirmation, was not informed it was back ordered. I used my pay pal account and received an email confirming the order and stating it might be held for credit verification or if necessary information is needed to confirm(??) After a couple of days, still no shipping confirmation. I checked back and discovered then the item was back ordered. I canceled the item at that time as I no longer needed it. I wouldn't say the experience was terrible, but I didn't think it was very competent.
Addendum: 9/29/09 the company was nice enough to offer me a $25 gift certificate for my troubles after reading my review. For that I have to revise this and give them a thumbs up. This review was modified by its author, workinmom4, on

This bullhorn is fantastic. When they say that it has a 300 yard range they mean it. For the money I honestly don't think they can do any better then this product.

Markertek has always delivered on time and with the right price.I have always been very satisfied with their service over the many years I have done business with them! They have a wide variety of products for the Broadcast Engineer and they are all high quality.

I ordered the Ansman Energy 4 Plug-in Charger with 2 9-Volt NiMH 250mAh Rechargeables. I must say they have met and exceeded expectation. Great product.

I ordered it, they shipped it, I got it, it was in good shape. Not much to it, but that seems to be difficult for some manufacturers. I'd recommend these guys.
