The Coby television works great, has great picture, sound, and the HD adds a nice touch to the television. I was worried about buying a television that I didn't hear about the brand as often as others but the tv is perfect for my first apartment and the price was the best I've seen so far

Update: We received a phone call from 6th Ave. shortly after contacting customer service. 6th Ave apologized for the mix-up with the extended warranty. They assured me that the salesman no longer works there. They were So Peasant and More than Happy to pay for the Toshiba lamp replacement. What a wonderful experience it was working with them!! Thanks so much 6th Ave.!!! You offer Great Customer Service and high quality electronics at affordable prices that can't be beat!!  
Original Problem: We purchased a large 72 inch Toshiba TV on March 17, 2007. Invoice # 260503. We Love the TV! However, we don't like the 3 yr. extended warranty type 1052-59046 that 6th Ave.com persuaded my dear husband to buy on the phone when placing the TV order. The salesman's words- "It'll pay for itself when you need to replace the lamp." Well, 2.5 years later-the lamp went out. Lo and behold,upon checking the warranty agreement contract- "it does not cover lamps." What?? We were surprised and frustrated! We didn't see the extended warranty at time of purchase (we live in CA and they're in NJ). When we needed it most and had been told it would apply, it didn't cover the lamp replacement as promised. We easily replaced the lamp ourselves finally ordering it through another company cha-ching- $170 later! We were disappointed with 6th ave.com- a company that sells reputable products but apparently hires representatives/employees that lie to increase sales$$$. (We now know that 6th ave. truly does care about their customers!!Way to Go 6th Ave!)

6th Ave Electronics is an excellent store. I received my order two days after I ordered it! I purchased it for 1/2 the price Pioneer wanted for the same product! 6th Ave is Awesome!! They returned my emails right away. Every aspect of their business they conducted is excellent!!!

I ordered a Panasonic 58" Plasma TV model TC-58V10 from 6th Ave Electronics on 9/25/09. This particular TV is very hard to come by, most dealers do not have them. The TV was in stock, I was given a great price and free shipping to California. The set arrived today 10/06/09, shipping on the same day it was ordered.  
 
I cannot praise this company enough, the salesman Frank was efficient and polite and the company did exactly what they promised. I will definately order any future electronics requirements from this company recommending them highly.

A++++ service... great buying experience... user friendly website. I have been looking for a new Flat Panel TV for a while now and recently during the labor day weekend, I came across 6ave.com and saw their 'Name the Price' promotion. I offered a price for one of the premier Panasonic plasma TV and they counter offered a discounted price which I couldn't refuse... Ordered the TV and the Blu-ray player at a great price. They shipped the TV the very next day using a premier freight company and the delivery was smooth... The TV is awesome. I was going to wait until the prices drop on this TV but 6ave.com made my decision easier by giving me a great deal. Will definitely buy from them again... Totally recommended.

6ave gave me a great price on a high demand item. The sales representative was efficient and didn't try and push any extras. While the item was in stock at the time of my order (a weekend evening) it was listed as backordered on Monday morning. A sales manager contacted me and explained how this can occur and gave me a comprehensive update of my order status and delivery ETA. I was satisfied with 6ave's response to a customer issue. I'll be updating this review once I receive the item. So far, I am impressed.

Awesome experience dealing with 6Ave. Best Price, I used the "Name your price" feature and ended up getting a price lower by 30% than what was quoted on 6AVE. Actually the price ended up being lower than anyone on the internet. Super fast shipping, great customer service (called the 800 number for questions I had). Overall, I will definitely buy from 6AVE again.

Was looking to purchase a 50" Panasonic plasma TV. After many weeks of searching various online sites I determined that 6th Avenue had the lowest price. In fact their prices were so much lower than other sites that I decided to purchase 2 TVs. I purchased the TC-P50S1 and the X1. Both were shipped for free and I was able to use coupon codes found online. The S1 cost me $1,030 out the door. Two months have passed and I still cannot find a price that low. The TVs arrived within a week.  
 
One thing worth mentioning...one of the TVs arrived completely damaged due to poor packaging. The screen was completely shattered and there were dents in the back. I'm still highly recommending 6th avenue because of the following. I called their customer service department on a Saturday and they were extremely helpful. They instructed me to take pictures of the damage and to leave the TV packaged up outside for UPS to pickup on Monday. UPS arrived on Monday as scheduled and returned the TV. My replacement TV was shipped within a week's time (understandable as it took time to be received by them and inspected), however this time they used a different courier that specialized in larger packages. I can't say enough positive things about the courier that delivered the 2nd time. They called me to make sure I knew when the TV was arriving, gave me a 30 min head's up, and the guy waited in front of my house for me to arrive even though I was 20 mins late. He even helped me carry it in the house at no charge (tipped him anyway). Both TVs are flawless.  
 
I'm highly recommending 6th Avenue because they came through and proved to be reliable at the lowest prices I found on the net.
