VisionDirect.com is the best source for contact lenses. They are cheap (you can always find free shipping coupons or % off coupons) and they are very quick. I ordered on the 22nd and received them on the 26th. Shop with them and you will not disappointed.

Worst customer service ever.  
 
This has been one of the worst experiences from an online company.  
 
I ordered contacts and brita filters from Visiondirect. I used some promotional codes on the order.  
 
They shipped one portion (from drugstore.com) and I received it. My order screen said that my contacts had also shipped, but no tracking # was availale.  
 
I waited 7 days after the order had supposedly shipped and after the 7th day, I called Visiondirect.  
 
The CSR I spoke to told me that the contact portion of the order had been cancelled because I use the promotional code *that the system accepted*. They cancelled one portion of the order and accepted the other. This has got to be illegal and is unquestionably a deceptive business practice.  
 
 
I went through all of that hassle for nothing. I waited 7 days for contacts that never came. Now I am in desperate need of contacts and am forced to buy them retail. Being a poor student, this really hurts my finances.  
 
Do not deal with this company. I will be notifying the BBB and FTC of this experience.

This time it was a disaster! I have shopped at their store for years, but this time was enought to turn me off forever. Five days after I placed the order (!!) they contact me saying that they cannot ship without a valid prescription. I've had in their system a valid prescription from a european doctor for the last two years, and they shipped 3-4 orders to me during that time. But they conviniently ignored that and required me to obtain a new prescription from an american doctor, not only for the parameters of the contacts but for the BRAND too???? No optometrist I ever went to prescribed a BRAND! That's ridiculous, only the parameters matter. I got fed up and told them to cancel the order and I would not be ordering any more from their store. UTTERLY bad experience, I had a feeling they are not even reading to what I am saying in my emails.

Much cheaper than everyone else!

AMAZING experience with this company. I ordered 2 boxes of Acuvue 2 contact lenses ($15.75 for each box, which is less than half of what my local optometrist charges) on March 16, 2005 and selected their free standard shipping for delivery. The estimated delivery date for my order was March 22-25. Less than 2 days later, on March 18, I received my order, which was shipped from Washington to Oklahoma through USPS. Packaging was acceptable and no damage whatsoever had occurred to the boxes the contact lenses come in. I will definitely order from this company again.

I ordered a few boxes of contacts and a pair of colored ones for fun. I didnt talk to my doctor about the colored ones and went away with the order anyways. They changed the order and put a different type of colored contacts and sent them. I got the contacts and wanted a refund on the colored ones. instead they issued a full refund for everything. They are relatively fast, cheap, and im happy with the cust service.
