Very please with the service and timely response to my order

WARNING! BAIT & SWITCH! SCAM!  
 
I ordered a camera kit for $2200 from them, *after* calling in first to make sure the item was in stock. On the site it says it comes with a warranty. I called them 2 days later to check why my card wasn't charged yet. They said that they don't have the *gray market* (no warranty) camera I ordered in stock, but that they do have the equivalent USA camera kit for $2500, which I (stupidly) okayed.  
 
I was naive. After the phone call I got on resellerratings.com and saw the reviews of all of the other bait-and-switch victims and victims of other scams they pull.  
 
Needless to say I immediately called back and canceled the order. So far my card does not appear to be charged.  
 
Save your money and your conscience. Don't fall for these crooks.  
 
One last thought, why haven't the police done anything? Tristate HAS to be breaking some laws here with all of this stuff the victims have on them!

Order was placed on line and went through smoothly. I received the item within a few days and I did receive a phone call the day the order was shipped.

YOU HAVE CHARGED ME TOO MUCH FOR THE LENS. I AM NOT TOO HAPPY ABOUT IT.  
I COOULD HAVE GOTTEN ALL THAT FOR LESS THAN $250.00. Besides how do we know if you sold a refurbished or a used one. I can,t tell.

I bought a refurbished Canon Speedlight from TriState. I am pleased to have placed my order at this store. The flash is almost good as new. They got good price and fast shipping. My package arrived on time.

Bought a refurbished camera from TriState (didn't realize till after i ordered it that is was refurbished) LOVE this camera. I inadvertently put the wrong shipping address. I called TriState up & corrected the address & my package came on time with out any delays. Now the camera, you wouldn't have known it was refurbished. I found out about this camera in Consumer Reports & as usual they weren't wrong. Best camera I could get with the price range.

Value for money. Ontime delivery. item in as expected condition.

I was impressed with the immediate feedback and the personal phone call that included a recommendation for upgraded memory card for my camera.

I was excited to find the discontinued Sunpak 120j bare bulb flash. I ordered it for $219, it showed in stock. Several days later I received an email to call them(red flag). I was told that they were out of stock but he just talked to the Sunpak rep and they had one that he could let me have for $345. No thanks! Run, run far away from these guys.

Great service and speed. I bought a few lens and a flash from them, and a customer service rep got back to me to ensure that I had the correct camera to work with the lens and offered a cheaper, but equally powerful flash. He changed the order, answered all my questions and shipped the product in record time. I would recommend them to a friend, and will be shopping with them again and again!

I have received the merchandise but I have not opened it. The Tristate Camera replaced the product with a cheaper one, less function. Right now the initial charge is under contest. I wanted to return it but the merchant proposed to give a $10.00 credit. I agreed to it and I am right waiting to see the credit in my account. VISA is also involved in this contest.  
 
From 1 to 5 (where 5 is excellent) I rate them at 1.
