I have been pleased with the sales of Canon items I have purchased from their Fairfield store. I will probably continue to shop there for various items. However, I must say that this is the first opportunity I have had to voice my displeasure at the purchase of a class offered June 29, 2009 on Canon Digital Flash photography. I am a proud owner of a 5D (original) and two Canon 580EX units, including a Canon ST-E2 transmitter. I came with my equipment, notepad and a voluminous amount of interest! I and a dozen other attendees was/were squashed almost instantly by the instructor because he wasn't going to go into the unit that worked with our camera, he was only delving into the 5D Mark II and newer flash units. While he tickled our questions with short, "don't bother me" kinds of answers, it was a totally deflating evening. I spent $45 to absorb information that I never received. Oh, wait, I was given a $20 gift card....so I threw away ONLY $25 - my mistake.  
 
I shall NEVER take another course offering from Unique again. I firmly believe they misadvertised this offering. There should have been a clear, concise disclaimer that this course was ONLY dealing with the newer camera body and newer flash unit. I sat there for 60-minutes with my blood boiling. I was going to complain to management that evening, but by 7pm I had to get the hell out of that place or I was going to explode. I was much, MUCH to angry to address anyone that night.  
 
I know it is far past due, but even if I were given a refund it would not have taken the bitterness out of me. I lost a tremendous amount of trust in Unique for taking my money and wasting my time by providing an instructor that was less than helpful with the number of questions offered that night by 5D owners.  
 
Never, never again.

Great store with a large inventory and very helpful staff. I also highly recommend their classes.  

I purchased a digital slr and accessories at Photo Plus Expo. The salesman was excellent and not pushy. He promised that my order would arrive on the following Monday and it did. The prices were very good, the packing was excellent and I would certainly buy from Unique Photo again.

Unique Photo had the film I needed to work my Polaroid Sun 660 that I fished out of an old box in the attic. I was extremely excited to receive my shipment of two packs of 600 instant film in time for Halloween photos of my niece. :) Excellent service and speedy delivery! I'd definitely recommend their services to anyone seeking that film that is no longer being distributed and so forth. Two thumbs way up!

I first discovered Unigue about a year ago. I was looking to make a pretty major purchase (Nikon D-300)and was comparing prices to the big NYC camera houses and found Unique's prices to be very competetive, and they were right in my back yard. Well I may have come here originally for the prices, but I continue to come back because they truly are, well, unique! The customer service is outstanding, the staff is knowledgable and friendly and the inventory is incredible. I have attended several of their Unique University classes and always found them to be interesting and informative. They treat amateurs like me with courtesy and respect...not like some of the snobby pro shops.  
 
So...forget the big NYC camera shops. These guys are everything those are and more. Shopping, buying and learning there is always a pleasure.

My experience with Unique Photo it is UNIQUE, not many place you will find this type of atmosphere and quality not to mention the knowledge. In addition, the knowledge I am referring to, is, you share your needs and exactly what you trying to accomplish and you will pointed to the right direction, this is were you begin to be an educated consumer by Unique Photo comes in. We all like to have this or that, the question is,” do we need it”?  
 
One of my biggest purchases was, when researching for good quality professional photo printer, not only they have the “know how” also they answered all my questions and directed me to research for my shelf, this was not a small purchase either. I went back to Unique Photo weeks later with confidence that I was at the right place. Since then I been traveling for about one hour sometimes longer to be with our friends at Unique Photo and attend to many training classes the provide as well.

I bought 8x10" large format film at a bargain that was so much better than the competition. Unique Photo, Inc. had the film ready to ship within a week, and the oversea shipment was delivered safely just two days later. If an offer that good come around from Unique Photo, Inc. again I'll take it in a heartbeat.

I've been a customer at Unique for almost a year now, and I have nothing bad to say about them. Great customer service, Mark at printing is a great guy, a pleasure to deal with, as is everyone else I've met at the store. Very knowledgeable staff, professional and articulate. Its a pleasure to shop there. Highly Recommended.

I had trouble ordering online for a seminar so I had to call Unique Photo. The two people I spoke with were both curteous and helpful. I had no hesitations when I had to call again with some questions. Again, very nice people.  
 
I would order from them again any time.

I have never had a bad experience ordering from Unique Photo. The merchandise was carefully packed and I received it in 4 days. Their prices are competitive and their selection is enormous. I will definitely buy my next camera there and have always been satisfied with their service. Thanks very much Unique for being reliable and a great company to work with.

The customer service was very good. The sales person was knowledgable and able to answer my questions. He completed my order over the phone since I was having difficulties with the website. The shipping would not confirm with my sales total, so the employee did my order over the phone, which was a lot simpler and it was nice to talk to a person and not a computer. The merchandise arived in a few days, and was of good quality. The polariod film was used the same day and performed as expected. I am very satisfied with Unique Photo's customer service, product quality, and their price point was the most competite compared to other vendors. They are also a sister state to us in PA so shipping time was not hindered. I highly reccommend giving them a try, and believe you will be pleased by using their service.

I was very impressed by the customer care team, and my experience in general. It was the second time I ordered from Unique Photo, and my new address, having moved since the last time I ordered, was off by just one letter. Someone in the shipping dept called me to make sure that they had the correct address, and that I hadn't made a typo. In actuality I had "moved" from an apartment in the rear (R) of my building to the front (F). The fact they called to clear up that one letter shows a level to detail not found in every company. Then, I had been away and was not home to receive the UPS shipment. Someone from customer service called just to let me know UPS had made two attempts. The sticker had fallen off my door, and had the package of been shipped back to sender I wouldn't have had the film I ordered, which was for a special Halloween event, and thus time sensitive. If I ever need film again, I will definitely order it from Unique Photo.

The layout of the webstie was easy to use and to find the products I was looking for. I received everything in perfect condition! Will definitley be buying from there again!
