Ordered a tripod online, they took my money and never got back to me again. Called 2 weeks later to find out that it was priced wrong on the website, no explanation as to why they took my money then ignored me. It is now into 3 weeks with still no satisfaction and no return credit to my card. Owners will not get on the phone and they have no explanation as to why my card has not been credited yet. Spoke with owners son who would not return my money or give me the product I had paid for. Had to call my credit card company to stop payment. I was a repeat customer but will never go back again, I,m adding this place to the long list of the other scammers out there. Stay away from this place, others, especially in NYC, are legit and much better to deal with.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED-I placed an order for inkjet paper, and received the wrong product. UniquePhoto made a mistake on their website. After twisting arms, they picked up the order but failed to credit the shipping charge along with the purchase price on my credit card.
Federal Law requires that where a vendor ships defective or the wrong goods or items, the vendor is responsible for shipping both ways, and NOT the customer. Unique attempted to beat me out of ten dollars!!!! Stay away from these people unless you want to receive the wrong order and also want to get stuck for return shipping!!!!

After placing an order and being charged for everything, they sent a partial order and said one item was on backorder. After two weeks of trying to determine when the item would ship they told me the price had changed and they needed to charge me an extra $35 for a $150 item.
I ordered a camera part which they supposedly had in stock. I have not received the item, my credit card has been charged, my phone calls were not returned, and the only response I received was "This item is still on backorder. We do expect a shipment in soon. I will keep you poster."
They were one of the first retailer to have Fuji S5 in stock in the US. (even B&H had them in stock a day after). Having never heard of unique photo before, i first checked here at resellerratings to check their rating. They had good ratings but only a few reviews and i was quite skeptical. I called to verify the stock and ordered through the sales person named Sam. He was easy to deal with and never even tried to push me to buy accessories like memory card. I ordered using next day air and it did arrive promptly next day. Awesome service. Only little downside is that they don't offer free shipping =(

This is the first time I have used this store and WOW! Talk about a fast delivery. My order arrived within 24 hours! Absolutely impressive. And the items are exactly what I ordered. I am keeping the website on my favourites and will definately do business here again. If you are a new customer and are reading this, shop here! You will not be disappointed. Once I decided on the DSLR I wanted, choosing a merchant was not any easier comparing prices, shipping, taxes, instock, merchant cash back, authorized dealer, store rating etc. Sad to say that Uniquephoto.com was not in my merchant list I was comparing as it did not showed up on any site I was comparing prices. The merchant name came to my mind only as a result of visiting the studio of a family friend for any advices and going through some of his catalogs. I didn't get much from him as he still does film only and has not moved down to digital yet.
I have called to see if if they had the camera in stock. I was asked to leave a message as I choose online orders from their phone menu. At the same time I was able to talk to a CSR when I choose a different menu.
Anyhow, I placed my order on the order on 8th and received my item on the 10th w/ ground shipping. Wished they included one of their latest catalog along... I also felt like their website interface is build poorly along with poor presentation of products and accessories. Might be because they used their catalog as a base to build the site.
Though functionality and user friendliness is poor on the site... I will be ordering again... only after few quick comparison searches.
This was a great experience. Not only did they have the product that I had been looking for (Black IPOD Nano). I was unable to find product anywhere else at a comparable price. Order was shipped right away. Received what I ordered great product. Even better Customer service! Thanks Again

I ordered an Epson R1800 printer through UniquePhoto from the Amazon marketplace, not directly through Unique's own website. At the time they had the lowest price of $439.99 for the printer, but it happened to only be through Amazon marketplace. In any case, shipping was quick, and the transaction went very smoothly. I would order from again.

over all i was pleased with the speed in which it was shipped and packaging of my device to keep it safe. it was a nikon L1 digital camera. the price wasnt the lowest but, the ratings were the best so I went with this company and so far I am glad i did.

I've dealt with Unique Photo before. They always seem to have what I need. This time they had an item that has been backordered almost everywhere else. Shipping was quick, and the price was better than most other online merchants. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks!

This was my first time dealing with Unique Photo. I am usually weary of ordering anything from NYC photo shops. I was very pleased with their service. I placed my order through telephone. The lady I spoke too was very friendly and professional. My order was processed and shipped same day. This is one of very few photography stores that will be seeing my business again.

I've been buying from Unique Photo since 2000. Always excellent service, very customer oriented. I would encourage everyone, especially those accustomed to "attitude" of large NY photo suppliers to give Unique Photo a try. Quite a difference! No pressure, no rush, just friendly service.
