The layout of the webstie was easy to use and to find the products I was looking for. I received everything in perfect condition! Will definitley be buying from there again!
From the first series of photos I have printed at Unique, I realized that there is no need to go anywhere else for local pickup and great quality. I tell all my clients that get a DVD of their shoot to print at Unique, no where else.
I also have purchased all my tripods, monopods and a handful of canon cameras (50d) and lens (canon 70-200 f2.8 IS). The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and had all the info I needed on the 7D - even though it was not yet released by canon.
I have also taken a few classes and will continue to take more.
I order a Canon 5D Mark II with a 28-135MM F3.5-5.6 IS USM EF Lens along with some other accessories. I got every thing in 2 days except the lens which was on back order which I already payed the bill in full. It is now over 2 weeks and I am not sure when I am getting the lens as they have not updated me to when i will receive this lens. I am hoping to get it by November 11 as I was planning on using this lens to photograph a wedding.
I have been a client of Unique Photo for 15 years. I dealt with many suppliers in that time but Unique Photo has been consistent in it's customer service. Unique's prices are always competitive. It is rare to have a problem with an order but if there is, it is corrected quickly and efficiently. It's great that orders ship the same day they are placed and I have gotten to know a few voices over the years. It's all about customer service these days & Unique Photo is in a class all by themselves!!!

Horrible experience. Bought about $10k in gear with one major item out of stock. On Nov. 5, I have yet to receive even a single item. However my credit card was billed immediately. I have called numerous times and have been promised call backs--none received. I have asked for the in stock items to be shipped--still waiting. In this same time period I have made two orders to a competitor and received all of the items within three days max and daily emails with status updates. I have purchased from Unique Photo for years without problems but this is unacceptable. Shame the rest of the company is not as fast as the billing department. By the way, I was promised a call back today. I am still waiting.
I didn't realize that Polaroid SLR 680 color film was non existent as of 9/09. I love this camera! I need film! I am moving and need to take many pictures of household goods. I ran a Google search and found good reviews for Unique Photo. I ordered 10 packs (they're all dated 9/09) and 2nd day air. What service! Terrific. The film is great so far - fresh, color is good with no yellowing, smearing, etc. like some reviewers have encountered. I will recommend this online service to anyone who needs a reliable source for hard to find film (as long as they stock it). Thank you
I was looking for a one time purchase of Polaroid film which is no longer available in stores. An email to Unique Photo quickly answered my question about the expiration date on their product. (A competitor could not answer the same question about their date.) Unique Photo's ordering/shipping process is quick. I received it in a short time, in perfect condition. Shipping costs are on the high side, but total price is comparative to others. I was pleased with the product and process and would do business with them again, if needed, in the future.
Ordered on a Monday and by Wed. had everything we ordered and the price was the best! Very fast, very reasonable prices, clean merchandise, not outdated film, and very prompt with the order. We are very happy with the over all of our order.
Extremely disappointed. Ordered an underwater housing for a canon 850is camera. In a couple of days, noticed that the credit card has been charged for the full amount but I had not received a notice of shipment. Called customer service and after some initial confusion was told that the item is in back order and they have no idea when they will be able to ship it. Customer service told me that it is their policy to immediately charge for back order items and that in general they don't notify customers that the items are back ordered. Had I not made the call, I would not have known about the back order. Which means, I would not have been able to order the housing from another store and would have been forced to go on vacation without it. And all this, while my credit card was charged.
The disturbing thing is that this is their policy, not an isolated incident. Other reputable stores tell you that the item is on backorder and charge you only when they ship. Will never be able to trust Unique Photo.

Unique Photo strives to ship each order the same day it is placed, assuming the product is in stock. The UniquePhoto.com website also displays live and current stock information, and in some cases the exact quantity on hand. This information is updated real time with our warehouse. Unique Photo also charges the credit card upon the placement of an order, listed under terms and conditions (link: http://uniquephoto.com/e/index.php/terms-and-conditions).

I order from Unique quite often and I highly recommend them. There prices are competitive and they ship when they say they will. It's not like ordering from most of those New York places that have so many ways to rip you off.
My order arrived on time and in good condition. I will order from them again.

I have come to rely on Unique Photo as a prime supplement to purchasing directly from major camera companies who are not friendly to small resellers.
I have been a customer for over 12 years. I am not exaggerating when i say I have placed thousands of orders with Unique. I have not only found them to be very easy to deal with, but increasingly efficient to make an order to fill in stock when perhaps a retail store does not need or cannot afford to place a stocking order with one of the "Biggies". Prices are on par with all of the other mail order giants. I tell people who are considering mail ordering an item to check Unique..we know a little photo store in Podunk Mississippi like us can't provide for everyone's needs. I can not tell you how many of our customers we refer to Unique have let us know how well they have been treated. It is quite a comfort to know that when we can't provide that 1500 dollar lens for a customer that the dealer we recommend will make us well remembered to our customers.
I recently placed an order with Unique Photo. In the past, I purchased most of my photography supplies in New York City.
I was amazed at the selection Unique Photo has to offer. It really caters to the professional community. I called to place an order because I was looking for a very specific type of film and the sales person was very helpful. They also ship remarkably quickly. It is doubtful that I will ever return to B&H or Adorama.
