I buy many from UnityElectonics for My company many times. I buy many monitors, many cameras, many many refurb drives. I liek their prices, so I repeat customer. We built computers, custom configuretored and sent them to RUSSia. They great service too very ok. I repeat more business with them.

I have been shopping for a laptop to take on my business trips. Did the usual research, checked out Dell, Gateway, Tiger, etc. While I was able to find what I wanted in terms of configuration the pricing was still not where I liked it to be. I also came across a bunch of additional costs, like on Tiger it was their crazy high freight. Friend of mine recommended Unity Electronics, said they have great deals on refurbished laptops. Skeptic by nature I did some research on these guys and they looked legit. I went to their site and found a couple of HP and Compaq laptops in my price range. Since I dont like leaving my credit card on the Internet I called them directly and placed my order over the phone. The lady I spoke with was nice and spoke english (hey thats getting rare in this day and age). Since it was still early in the day she told me they would ship my laptop the same day. Sure enough they did. So I ordered on Friday and got it on Tuesday. The HP Pavilion came very well packaged, and was ready to go right out of the box. I will definitely shop these guys in the future.

Got what I ordered pretty quickly and it is installed and working perfectly. Ordered a DVD drive. Credit card was charged same day, and order shipped same day... not too shabby!  
 
Website was easy to navigate, simple, but check-out a little slow. Maybe it was my internet or they were doing a check on me? Not sure. Either way I am happy.

They have very good prices, but just hope nothing goes wrong.  
 
I ordered a refurbished Plextor PX-715/UF (external USB DVD/RW). I received the unit and it worked fine for reading CDs but would not recognize any DVDs (including the software DVD that came with it). Unity claimed that it was not their problem and I would have to deal with the Plextor warranty even though it arrived DOA. I have never had any retailer before tell me that a DOA item (refurbished or not) was not their problem.  
 
Only after I threatened to contest the charge with the credit card company (and send the drive back) did Unity finally agreed to RMA the drive and send me a "new" one. According to normal Unity policy, I had to pay the shipping charge for the return.  
 
I received the new drive and it was completely DOA (nothing worked). At this point, I returned the drive (at my expense again) for a refund.  
 
I did receive the refund fairly quickly but it was only for the purchase price (not shipping).  
 
Net result was a couple months aggravation, $35 spent on shipping fees, and nothing to show for it.  
 
I will never be buying anything from Unity again.

I ordered a remanufactured printer drum for my HP Laser Jet 1100 printer on October 4th, 2005 for a much better price ($18.95) than anyplace else. Shipping was a little higher than I think it should have been at $7.50, but it got here in just a few days in perfect condition and it has worked brilliantly in my printer, so it's all good.  
 
So, I easily and highly recommend Unity Electronics.

I bought the ViewSonic VE173-3 LCD monitor. Rather nice monitor 17 inches with very fast refresh. Priceshopped it extensively before finding it at Unity Electronics website. They had the lowest price and the highest customer rating. I received the monitor 3 days after purchasing it. Very Happy!

I purchased a battery for my ipod mini and for some reason the day I purchased it my ipod died. Later that day I replied back to the order confirmation and asked if there was any way I could cancel the order. Within 10 minutes I had a reply telling me my order was successfully cancelled. I am happy to finally see a quality online retailer after having so many bad experiences through the years. I plan to shop here in the future.

Found a great deal on a refurbed Dell 2001FP 20 inch monitor, actually found it on Daily Deals at smarterdeals but it lead me to unityelectronics. I called in to make sure this would work with my NVidia card and they answered all my questions. Since I live in San Francisco Bay Area I was able to pick up the monitor right from their warehouse later that same day. Great bunch of people, knowledgeable and friendly! Monitor working great and it was a kickin deal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have dealed with Ray on this purchase which was a refurbished Palm Tungsten T. It came with a drifting digitizer. While not happy with the product as it would have been nice if it had worked properly, the customer service was the best I have experienced in the electronic mail order business. They offered to replace or refund with no argument and were patient, pleasent and prompt with dealing with me. I have not sent the unit back yet but will report on the expediency of the refund once they receive it and process the refund. My customer service agent was Ray and he was the best. Thanks again and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

We bought a portable DVD player from Unity Electronics on the 14th of March. We checked the part number on several comparison engines like smarterdeals and froogle, and Unity came up the least expensive. Their site offered a detailed description of the player plus multiple pictures of the player: the box it came in as well as what it came with. They were very thorough! We received the player 4 days later. Kids love it! This was our first time ordering from Unity Electronics and we will order from them again.

I am buy Advueu monitor it was brand new. I am receive monitor and very happy with it.

Best place for hard to find Palm PDA parts. I bought replacement screen and digitizer for my old Palm 515 for less than half of what Palm store charges. Found them on smarterdeals.com, ordered in the morning, got my email with confirmation of the order and another email with tracking number, got the parts 3 days later. WOW!

As a repeat customer of Unity Electronics all I have to say is these people do A+ job. Over the past six months I bought a wide variety of things from them. I bought digital cameras, monitors and hard drives. There were no surprises: things were ALWAYS as advertised. Refurbished things were clean and worked perfectly and brand new products were same as from retail stores only MUCH cheaper. Prices are consistently good enough for me to resell these things at ebay and make a desent side income. A+ company and pleasure to deal with.

Ordered a 15" princeton monitor (refurbished) as a christmas present on Dec. 9, shipment time was satisfactory - didn't find out it was defunct until dec. 25 when the present was opened. Unity Electronics was contacted for replacement purposes, and they sent us to princeton to handle the replacement, princeton has now sent us back to unity electronics.  
This is ridiculous, and unless quick action is taken, I will not be ordering from them again.

Just what the good doctor ordered - bigger monitor to replace my old one. I got a refurbished 17" monitor, after getting my questions answered. Thank you Unity!
