Great prices and great customer service. Slow shipping due to a computer problem they had but who hasn't had some type of computer problem at one point. I would easily recommend this store and will shop again and again.

This was my second order with pro-tape and it went very smoothly and someone even called me to make sure that it wasn't a fraudulent order which I appreciate. Their prices are great, service excellent and I received the product on time!!!

Excellent! I would not hesitate to purchase from Pro Tape again. They had the product I wanted (which is only available at Sony retail in Canada) at 1/3 the price I'd have to pay in Canada. Shipping and UPS to Canada went without incident and the product was exactly as described and without substitutions.

Having been my first experience with Pro-Tape, I think I've found my reliable supplier for years to come. Normally, I'm in the habit of going into any retail store and buying a couple of tapes to get the current job done. Following a link from Google, I found myself at the Pro-Tape site and couldn't be happier. For a 10-pack of my usual Sony DVC tapes, I'm saving $15 over what Best Buy charges for a 6-pack.  
 
I'm incredibly satisfied with my experience and will be shopping nowhere else for my tape supplies.

I have just started recently purchasing tapes & tape sleeves for work related purposes. I found that protapes has exactly what I'm looking for such as the price and the quantity of tapes you can purchase at once. I also liked the option of ordering the tape sleeves with them. It makes it convenient when everything is in one spot. I was shocked when I realized there were different colors to choose from also. It's a great company to order from and I've had high satisfaction for the last two times I've ordered from them and I will continue to do so in the future. Thank you!

I ordered a bunch of mini-dv tapes at a very competitive price. Got e-mail confirmation immediately, then nothing for several days (UPS tracking could not locate the package using the reference as was suggested in the e-mail). Wrote an e-mail asking what's up with my order, got a response (rather quickly to their credit) that it's out of stock and offered to cancel or wait (but no ETA date given). Finally they shipped my order two weeks later, with same UPS ground (I thought sending overnight would be more proper in this situation). So, just proves again -- small store, poor service. Needed the tapes for this Saturday, had to get some from my local brick and mortar instead :(. Stay away.

I bought sony premium mini Dv tapes. They arrived quickly and were about the lowest price per tape, somewhere around 2.30 per tape, and that was just with ordering 30 of em. Very good dean, and I'm happy with the order.

Service and shipping are superfast, and prices are excellent! I will almost certainly order from Pro-Tape again.  
 
"S&H" costs are too high, in my opinion, but that's part of buying online. S&H certainly must be factored into the total per-item cost.  
 
I recall that the Pro-Tape site used to have a useful amount of helpful information about the tape products and about choices among them. This information is no longer there, and I miss it.

Have ordered minidiscs from Pro-Tape for a couple of years. Fast service. Good communication. Lowest prices. 200 JVC 80min discs ($1each) was my last order and they check out okay. Previous orders were for TDK and Sony  
discs. This is my first review.
