What a terrific place to look for high-quality merchandise at extremely favorable pricing! Had to return boots that were a 1/2 size too small and had the new boots from STP in a matter of days (they used UPS 2-Day even though I only paid for Ground).  
 
Even got a gift card on top of the discount, which was substantial.  
 
Great store to deal with -- a real person courteously answered the customer service line and was extremely helpful. I will definitely be a regular at STP!

I love sierratradingpost, I wish I had more money so I could shop there more often :o) I ordered from STP many times, love their discounts, great prices, good quality merchandise, sometimes you may get low quality item, i.e. I bought dish towels for a couple of dollars, and they were horrible, but hey, 3 rags for 2 dollars and I will use them anyways, no complaints, and the rest of my order was great, in general I am always thrilled with my order, especially when you get 500 dollar item for 100 or less. I never had any problems returning anything. I was always happy with my purchases and only returned a couple of times due to the fit/sizing. Their customer service is very polite and helpful. I felt like I was very important and like I was talking to my dear friend when I spoke with lady over phone once, very sweet and friendly.

I purchased a new pair of winter boots from this store. My order was processed and shipped the same day. The boots were received in good condition, and with shipping, I saved almost 45 percent off the retail price. While I don't do much shopping for outdoor gear, I will certainly consider Sierra Trading Post when the need for such purchases arises.

Overall excellent experiences--great prices, easy returns, interesting products. I have ordered 10+ times and go back for interesting higher end clothing and outdoors stuff. Limited selections, but if you find what you want you can get a good deal.

We have ordered from Sierra Trading Post 11 times, and have never had anything but positive experiences with them.  
Theri merchandise always arrives within the time frame promised, the merchandise is always brand new, and since they sell primarily very well known brands, the merchandise is always top quality.  
I've ordered 2 Marmot Gore Tex shells, a down parka, slippers, socks, numerous pairs of Vasque footwear for my wife and myself, and other outdoor oriented gear. Basically anything that we would use in the outdoors, we would try to order from Sierra first.  
My wife's Marmot Gore Tex shell had a problem after about 6 months where the fabric around the side pocket zipper started fraying, I contacted Sierra, they sent a return shipping label, we returned the defective shell, and within 2 weeks, my wife had a brand new version of the shell we had returned, at no additional cost to us.  
What more could we ask for?

Sierra Trading Post is my only place for shades, because prices are cheap!!! And good quality of course, I usually wait till they send me news letters with coupons and go to their bargain barn or clearance section to hunt for new shades, sometimes 25 dollars will get you a nice looking polarized shade made in Italy. They always ship out the next day, so shipping is fast. Will definitely shop here again.

This is one of my favorite stores due to the consistantly high quality of their merchandise.Have purchased clothes,shoes, and various household items. Get on their email list to receive frequent discounts 10-20% and sometimes free shipping. Shipping is unusually slow almost always, though.

I was a bit surprised at the rather low ratings for Sierra Trading Post. I have been ordering from them for at least 10 years and have always been very satisfied. The prices are excellent, they send everything out very quickly, and it always arrives sooner than I expect, especially considering their shipping prices. They have a great selection and are very reliable for their quality. I highly recommend them. Most recently, my wife and I ordered a whole assortment of things for a trip we are taking. They shipped everthing the next day and it arrived in only two days, despite being free shipping. This is right around Christmas too. I have had to return a few things over the years too and never had a problem.

Excellent online seller. Very easy returns if it doesn't fit, etc. Very good selection and prices. IF you know what brands you like and what sizes fit you, shopping is simple.

I ordered some sunglasses from them, $72 after a 20% off coupon code plus a free shipping code, which they were generous enough to manually stack (the system only accepts one coupon code). The "retail" price of the sunglasses according to them was $200, but they can be had for $150 elsewhere. Still, a great deal. The best surprise is that it came with a pre-printed UPS shipping label for a completely hassle-free return...sort of; the return policy states that your return will be minus $5.25 unless the error for your return is on their part: still cheaper than if I would need to return it via UPS where it would probably cost $8 or $10, but completely free would be even better.  
 
I would order from them again.

I order from STP all the time and have always been pleased with their products and service. Their prices are excellent; you can find some really great, name-brand stuff at blowout prices. I shop primarily for outdoor gear, but they seem to have a little bit of everything, including high-fashion clothing like Italian shoes and English coats.  
 
Shipping is fast and returns are painless since they include a return label with each shipment, and exchanges for a different size are free. They do charge a small re-stocking fee ($5.25) for exchanges but this is more than made up for by the free return shipping. Because of this, though, I'd recommend you be relatively certain about what size you take since the savings can evaporate with multiple exchanges.  
 
Overall, Sierra Trading Post is a great company and I recommend them without reservation.
