Case-Mod.com IS SLOW TO SHIP, UNRELIABLE, AND UNRESPONSIVE. DO NOT BUY HERE!! I LEARNED THE HARD WAY!!  
 
I placed my order on Jan 19, 2005. The order confirmation page stated that I would shortly receive an email confirmation, but I never got one. On Jan 23 I began to wonder when my order would ship, as it was showing "Pending" status on the case-mod.com website, even though my credit card was charged the day I made the purchase. I called the phone number listed on the website which rang for a while then an answering machine with no greeting picked up. I tried calling about three times on Jan 23, and twice on Jan 24, both times also emailing the company's listed email address with my inquiry. At this point I looked further into the reviews of this merchant online, including the merchant's ebay account (username case-mod) and found numerous negative experiences with this company, especially relating to getting in contact with anyone. On Jan 25 I tracked down the domain name registration information and got the name of the owner of the company. Several google searches turned up a few more email addresses and about 6 phone numbers for a Furqan Rydhan. All of those phone numbers but the one on the case-mod.com website were disconnected. I sent another email to all of the email addresses threatening to dispute the charge if someone did not get in touch with my the following day, and I received a reply from furqan@case-mod.com stating that I would get a tracking number in my inbox by Jan 27. That day was today, and I have given up all hope of actually seeing a shipment, and having seen other complaints about this company, I firmly believe if I were to get a shipment, it would be damaged, non-functional, or missing components. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They will screw you by ignoring you at first and preying on your ignorance, then they will make false promises to try and keep you going. Pay a little extra elsewhere -- it's worth it.  
 
**UPDATE: RESPONSE TO CASE-MOD'S REPLY BELOW**  
When I am promised a tracking number, I expect to see a tracking number. I got an email this morning from Furqan stating the order would be cancelled and the already-shipped package recalled. I asked for a tracking number as proof of shipment, but got no response. I NEVER received an email from this company even confirming the order, much less informing me of any delay in shipment or backorders on my product.  
 
The owner of the company graduated from high school in 2002. This is what I said to him, and he thinks I am calling him a 'kid'. That's fine -- my review is only one of numerous very negative reviews on this site -- if this company cared as much about customer service as they do about replying to people's negative reviews here, there would not be so many people with negative experiences.  
 
Bottom Line: Getting in touch with this company is next to impossible. Getting proof that your order shipped OVER A WEEK AFTER IT WAS PLACED is next to impossible. The hassle is not worth it. Do not shop case-mod.com!

Customer Was contacted within ~2 business days of a delay on the lilliputs. We used the email address provided in his order. No response was received from him. We got the item and shipped it out when it was possible. I personally emailed him to assure that it would be shipped out as soon as we have it and gave him an eta.  
 
He emailed again on the night of the 27th saying that he did not get a tracking # so assumes we are fraud. We have already gone ahead and cancelled his order and authorized a return from fedex. Customer also speculates on many items such as calling us 'kids' who don't know how to run a business. Our business hours are from 11am to 5pm pst. The phone is not staffed @ all hours, and all emails are replied to within 24 hours on normal business weeks.  
 
Customer assumes many items but the facts speak differently.  
 
The phone # listen on our site is our company #, it works fine Customer may have dialed incorrectly.

I got email Yesterday 2.26.05 (about midnight)with a tracking number and shipping info from fedex. Turns out they shipped my order out on the 25th, 7 buisness days after I ordered it. Frankly, This company sucks, and I will never order another thing from them, I will also advise everyone I know against it. Its just not worth the hassle over a few saved bucks.

Ok, somehow the fedex website says my shit went out on the 20th, and that I will get it today, the 27th, which makes me alot happier. Turns out it took case-mod.com only 4 days to process my order. Reguardless, the complete and total lack of support from case-mod.com will keep me from ever going back.

Got the package today 2.27.05, Missing 5 of 11 items. The packing lists states "ETA 1/22" wirtten in blue pen, and "customer notified" is checked. I guess they consider telling you when you get the package as notifiying you. This site sucks. It sucks big hairy ones.

Despite what Fuckan says below, I never got an email stating anything about my orders from case-mod. I recieved a total of 6 emails from them. 1 on 1.15 confirming my order, 2, on the 21 when I opened up an account with the morons so I could see what the fuck was going on and when I opened up a ticket with them. another one on 1.29 letting me know I already got my package, gee thanks. And a pair of emails today, letting me know that my other two tickets were closed without them being resolved. I work at a helpdesk, I deal with tickets all fucking day, and if handled tickets in this manner I wouldn't have a job very long at all.  
 
Any mistake on my part was due to the fact that every item I ordered was listed as in stock, which resonably means it should be sent out next buisness day. This is not the case with this website, who apparently keep no inventory whatsoever, and process orders in an untimely manner.  
 
I still have not recieved all my items in full. Its been 14 buisness days since I placed my order. I have recieved not one helpful response from this company. I have called during "normal" business hours many many times. In fact I'll call again right now @12:45pm EST..... holy shit someone answered. Turns out my fans were in, not shipped out, and my cable isn't in stock, 14 buisness days after I placed my order. That said I canceled my order.

Company has a lousy customer servie. Ordered case on the 28th of Dec 2004 and order wasn't shipped till much later because they were out of stock even though their site claimed to have the case instock. They never sent me an e-mail or anything saying item was being back ordered. Not till I e-mailed them and asked what's going on did I get a response and that was days later. Case finally arrived and there was suppose to be a mail in reabate for $20.00 dollars but I got no shipping invoce or rebate form. Again I e-mailed them and still have reiceved no response. My advice order from a more reliable company with a better customer service department. Items ordered on the same day from Zipflyzoom and Newegg all arrived on time with all nessasary forms. Lucky this was a cheap lesson never order from them again.  
 
Well finally got a hold of a person at Case-mod they said they would call back about my problem....guess what they never did....Surprise surprise....no returned call no returned e-mails no customer service period...BE WARNED THIS COMPANY WILL SCREW YOU IF GIVEN THE CHANCE.......

The seller is out right lying I was never ever called. When I did get a hold of them they said they would call back . Still no call and as for them offing me free shipping well thats news to me. They never returned any of my e-mails or did they ever send my rebate form or call me to tell me anything much less what they claim in their response. THIS COMPANY IS REALLY BAD NEWS !!!!! the fact that they can take the time to respond to reviews and flat out lie about what the did or offered to do should be warning enough to stay away.By the way I did not get a call at all much less on the 28th as stated in his reply. This place is a definate NO NO for ordering anything. Went on google and found Jokers e-mail who happens to be the owner of the place and sent him a e-mail about his lying in the response....What do you know I got a e-mail back the next day wow finally a returned e-mail. He claims he got my review mixed up with another customer's order..imagine that.... them mixing anything up....AGAIN ALL I CAN SAY AS THE PEOPLE AFTER ME HAVE SAID IN THERE REVIEWS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ORDER SOMEWHWERE ELSE AND SAVE THE HASSLE!!!!! Wouldn't be surprised if the good reviews were'nt posted by the owner and his friends themselves.....

This guy is so full of himself that it's not funny. Yea first e-mail he personally got because no where on his site does it list his personal e-mail addresses just customer support e-mail addresses. I had to search google to find his personal e-mail address. So what if you send e-mail after e-mail through the proper channels his company wants you to you shouldn't expect a return e-mail? He finally sent me an e-mail with my rebate form and proper invoice for proof of purchase...TO BAD I BOUGHT THE CASE ON DEC 28TH 2004 AND HERE IT IS FEB 3RD 2005 AND THE REBATE CLEARLY STATES MUST BE POSTMARKED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE!!!!!! ONCE AGAIN IT CAN"T BE SAID ENOUGH ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! IF YOU DO DECIDE TO ORDER FROM THEM YOU NEED SERIOUS HELP!!!!

The Initial Response that was posted was for the incorrect customer, It mentioned an 'A-top' case which this customer did not order.  
 
Customer sent me an email on a personal address (the first email I personally have received from him). He called me a 'snot nosed punk' amoung other things. I mentioned to him that The response on reseller ratings was a mix up.  
 
The Facts still speak the truth:

Item shipped out the 2nd business day. Our shipping policies clearly state that item may take 1-2 business days to ship. Customer received the item ~5 business days after (shipment was UPS Ground).  
 
There really isn't much to it.

Ordered my Aero 4 Lite on November 30, 2004. It has been 8 days and I have had no word on where it is. I was ordering this for a birthday present expecting I would have it atleast 3 days early with Priority Mail. My friend's birthday was yesterday and I promised him to get him this present and said I will give it to him as soon as I get it. So much for me surprising him with this, since his CPU overheats alot he really wanted this. Terrible service, will never do business with this website again.

I placed my 2nd order for a Ultra power supply on Nov 6th knowing full well that it was backordered till the 30th. Since my first order went through ok and the decent ratings here,I felt ok pre-ordering from them.  
Well when I went to pay my credit card bill right before Thanksgiving,I noticed they charged my account on the 6th before shipping the product.  
Over the holiday weekend they put the power supply that I pre-ordered on sale but in my order status my price didn't change.  
So I sent the sales dept 2 email's (on Sun then Tuesday)questioning the charge and the price difference and then 2 email's to their shipping (Wed and Fri)asking the same 2 questions and WHY no one hasn't got back to me yet.  
They claim they price match but they don't even price match themselves!  
Another thing I noticed is the "Store Policies" link doesn't work.  
Still no contact from sales or shipping(Fri 12/3)  
Looks like it's time to call my credit card and report their fruad.  
If this is their customer support-NO THANKS!  
 
Update 12/07 Well they never responded to any of my emails but they did ship me a power supply, the wrong one!  
I have sent them another email asking them to pick up their shipment and refund my money.  
I'm really not expecting a reply

placed order on june 14 online all products showed to be in stock recieved e mail order was recieved and have not heard since charge was posted to cc on 16th. It is now the 19th still now ward on order their site just says pending i have sent two e mail on subject and no response tried calling and phone just rings.  
 
well recived an e mail on 21st stating products shipped fedex it is now monday the 28th still have not recieved anything. will write more if i ever recieve my pacakge.

I ordered three items, including a Zalman CNPS-7000A-CU. I recieved the package only to find two of the other items in my order and not the Zalman cooler. However the accompanying order summary included listed this cooler as if this item was included in the package. My attempt to resolve this problem via e-mail was only answered a simple "Zalman currently has a shortage on this item. We will find out the estimated date of arrival and let you know shortly." Their online catalog still has this item as in-stock. 10 days past since I placed my order and i still do not know when the item will be delivered to me!

Ordered my stuff on May 1 (a Saturday) using 2-3 priority mail. It took a total of _two weeks_ from the order date to get the product to my door - unacceptable.

Placed order on a saturday.  
on the following Wed e-mailed and told them to cancel order because the status said "Processing". I am still waiting to hear from them - it has been 12 hours since I emailed the company.  
 
Any business that takes 3+ days to process an order for 2 - Dual 12" ccfl that they have on "Sale" should look and see what the problem is. I placed orders at several other sites that same day and recieved the items today.  
 
I will never do business with this company again and do not recommend them to anyone - shop somewhere else.  
 
In response to Casemod.com comments:  
 
1. Phone calls - The number which they are calling is a home business, ALL phone calls coming in and going out are logged. Casemod called 1 time on 10/2/03 claiming that they called 2 times before and have emailed several times and that they are slow at updating their order status page. I have a room mate and we both run the business and make sure that we get any calls missed while we are out of the office.  
 
2. email - I have been using Hotmail as a free personal email service for nearly 4 years and have never had a problem recieving mail from any person or companies. I have placed orders with large companies like Dell and IBM, to small home businesses like 2cooltek.com. In this time I have never heard anyone say "We replied telling you your order has shipped and sent FedEx Tracking number in the email". I also think that it is strange that they can recieve my email but that I can not recieve theirs.

Yes presently I am out of town I had to fly out 10/02/03 around 10:45am on buisness.  
 
My comments:  
If you are looking to make a purchase with this company I urge you to read other Reseller Ratings on Casemod.com and check with the BBB on the web. You will find that the BBB have complaints filed about Casemod.com and they are unresolved because Casemod will not respond.  
 
I should have checked into this company before ordering, but I was in a hurry and needed to purchase 2 sets of dual ccfl's cheaply for a test project that I and several other where conducting. I have learned my lesson and will always check the background of any business that I have never heard of before.  
 
I have a question Casemod.com said:  
 
"We have left 2 messeges with individuals at the location and have tried to call him 4-5 times." why only "2 messages with individuals"  
 
This is pretty pathetic over 2 sets of ccfl's for $24.83, but I learned and will always remember "Buyer beware".  
 
Update:  
I recieved the order the other day and upon testing the ccfl's to ensure that they work, can you believe this, they are bad.  
 
When you power them on they make a very faint high pitch noise, I thought about getting an RMA but after all this I am going to throw them in the trash and order from someplace repuatable.

Customer placed order on 9/27 1:29am (Saturday).  
Order packaged and shipped out 2nd business day on Tuesday via FedEx 2 Day Service. FedEx tracking number is emailed directly to all customers.  
 
Customer emailed 10/1 5:37am PST (we open at 10am PST) stating that order has not shipped.  
 
We replied 10/1 10:32am PST Stating that order has shipped and sent FedEx Tracking number in the email.  
 
Customer emailed owner on 10/1 12:37pm PST stating that 'cancel order if it has not shipped'  
 
Owner replied 10/1 3:38PM PST stating order has already shipped and included tracking number again in the email.  
 
Customer again emailed on 10/2 @ 8:21 am and 8:25 am.  
 
Owner & Sales Department again replied @ 9:55 am and 9:57am stating order has shipped.  
 
Customer stated he called '4 times'. Yet by checking call logs, no calls from any area codes around his area have arrived.  
 
Numerous times we have tried to contact this individual by phone regarding his order. The person who picks up says he is 'out of town' or 'out for an hour'. We have left 2 messages with individuals at the location and have tried to call him 4-5 times.  
 
FedEx tracking shows order should arrive 10/3 shipping cross country from California to Pennsylvania.

What ever you do don't cancel your order. They still haven't refunded my money and it has been over a month. I just sent my third email, so we will see what happens. I will stick with the best one out their which is NEWEGG.

sent me wrong tracking number, gave me the wrong shipper, they do not answer emails promptly and nobody ever answers their customer service line. Also sent me the same order in a second shipment which I have to return on my expense.

They Really Suck when it comes to giving you your tracking number they told me on the phone that Fedex will email my number i never got it so i call fed ex and they said they dont do that that they should of emailed me my number and tring to get a hold of case mods people is like tring to get a ride on the space shuttle aint goin to happend far as will i buy from them again no way they suck at customer service and when you do get someone on the phone "it took 20 tries" they give you the run around

Cancelled my order.  
Lack of 1-800 and updated inventory makes this site little more than an online store catalog.  
Had i gotten an email of some sort i could have fixed my order rather then cancelling it.  
EDIT: they sent my order out but failed to inform me AND never responded to my emails to cancel.I am missing two ITEMS and did not recieve any statements about the missing itmes.  
after sending many emails to shipping I sent duplicates to other departsments and found out they mistakenly missed 2 itmes and should recieve them a full 2 weeks after placing my order

I placed 3 orders. In one of the boxes, I was missing the 2 barbs I ordered. In the other box, I read the invoice that my hose is backordered though I never received an email or call asking if I would prefer to cancel it. Then my cpu cooler block came without holddowns. I emailed and did not receive a response so I called-it is not a 800 number. Guy was easy to deal with on the other end and I even ordered a higher end cpu block and they assured me that I would get the hold downs for the previous one and receive credit for the missing items. Fine. Card charged with the credit also. So far ok. However, days went by and no email explaining status of order. Called 5 days later (2 days were weekend) and was told that my order is waiting for NEW hold downs for my cpu block cooler. Once again, no call, no email. Communication appears to an issue here. I would like to order other items, but I am now very hesitant and will go elsewhere and pay more money. Hopefully I will get my items. Hopefully......I will update this once this is completed.

Order has not shiped 5 days after purchasing. After contacting case-mod, he tells me that the product is out of stock. No where on the website does he state this, and he does not inform me untill I ask why. Very unpleased.
