HELLO, is any one home?!! I placed an order on Oct 5. Its status was changed to pending on Oct 9.
I tried to update the order but no response. finally from the 12th to the 19th I sent numerious emails trying to cancel my order. Finally on the 20th it was canceled. The worst customer service I have experienced. Much like the camera stores in New York. Stay clear of this E store.

If I hadn't read some of the few positive reviews on this site, I would think it was a total scam.
I ordered a VGA cooler & fan from them on the 27th of August; no invoice, no shipping confirmation, nothing. Then, they took their site down for maintenance on the 29th, and it has been down ever since. Because of this, I have not been able to log into my account to check the status of my order. I've sent them three emails since then, but no response (I'm on Cox, but I provided an alternate email). I've tried the number, but apparently it's just fax.
It is the 12th of September now, yes, 12th, and I still have not received my items, nor have I heard from them, AND their site is STILL down for maintenance.
The only thing they have done at this point is charged my credit card.
Never in my life have I had such bad service. Apparently, they don't give a crap about their customers.

This place is absolutely terrible! They never reply to your emails. I selected for a faster shipment and nothing has happened on my order status, says pending after a week. I've sent 4 emails and not one has been replied to. I've called them about a dozen times, and no one ever picks up. Worse customer service ever. I've been charged on my credit card already and have not receive anything. I would advise that you buy from somewhere else even if it's a few dollars more, it'll be worth your while. Now my company has to wait for them to ship the item, who knows when that will be.

Oh how I wish I had checked here before buying from these guys.
My story is basically the same as every other dissatisfied customer below, so I'll spare you the explicatives. Short version: I ordered a couple of fans on 7/14, got the order confirmation email (and CC charge) imediately, waited an entire week before I started to wonder why I haddn't gotten a package. Went back to their site and saw that my order was still "pending". Sent an email politely asking what was up, and got no reply (and yes, I waited the 2 days asked for below). Sent another email asking them to please respond or I'd have to call my CC company and cancel the payment. Also left a message on their answering machine (no, I don't mean voice mail, I mean answering machine... the same one I have, with the same default msg from the factory.. 'helllo. we are not available to take your call...' and as long as I'm off on this tangent, gee thanks for not wanting me to feel upset that I can't get someone 24x7, and so kindly not returning my call at all... anyway, after another two days (on 7/25, today) I get an email that says my order shipped on 7/22. Considering that this company is less than 150 miles from me, and I regularly get package from the bay area via priority mail that arrive overnight, I find it hard to believe that this really shipped 3 days ago, but we'll see if it's there when I get home...
Bottom line, don't order from these guys unless you don't really want what you ordered, or the few dollars you'll save is worth waiting 2+ weeks to get what you want. And good luck if you think you'll be the one in a hundred customer who actually gets some kind of service from them...

Order a CPU fan on June 29th. Have not received the fan or any communication at all. I have emailed 3 times with no response. This is horrible customer service. I don't care if it is a small operation, you should take care of your customers. Throw me a bone and let me know where my fan is, hell I would rather you lie to me then not hear anyting at all. Please do not buy from this place if you want to actually see your product. If you Case-Mod ripoff guys are reading this give me my money back!. What a joke, you have a number listed for business customers...HAHA. You cant take care of the retail customers, what makes you think a business would want such crappy service. If I hired you for any computer/IT issues I would rather close my business than rely on your "service". FLIP OFF AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK, F'in scammers.
Thanks
And have a nice day.

I wish I had done my research on this company. I usually purchase form Tigerdirect, and always with no problems. I can order at Tigerdirect, have a confirmation email within minutes, and the item shipped within 24 hours, and have the item usually within 3 days, all with accompanying emails regarding my order. I placed an order with case-mod.com on June 25th for a coolermaster case. According to there website you should receive an email when you place an order (never received and I ALWAYS check my junk mail on yahoo) and that your order should be shipped no later than 3 business days. I emailed them the next day after placing my order to make sure everything was in order, because I never received a confirmation of my order....although it says it's there and "PENDING". Well it is now June 30, my order is still pending, and I still have not received a confirmation email nor a reply to the email I sent them. I just sent them another email inquiring to the status of my order. I guess we will see if they actually respond. I have 5 day shipping on my order, so if my order is not received by the 8th, I will be contacting my bank to resolve this, get my money back, and then contacting the BBB. If necessary, my lawyer is already aware of the situation, and I will contact him if it comes to that. Hopefully someone at case-mod.com will get a professional streak in them, ship my order, and actually tell me about it!
MY ADVICE? DON'T SHOP HERE - GO TO TIGERDIRECT OR NEWEGG!!!
Will update for everyone once something ACTUALLY HAPPENS!
***UPDATE***
I checked my email this morning (7/1) and to my surprise I have a tracking number. I agree with the central theme throughout these posts...if you want fast service, and customer service, don't shop at case-mod.com. If you just want to place your order and forget about it, then they are okay.
FOR CASE-MOD.COM: My suggestion to you, would be to spend the extra cash to have someone atleast part time to answer emails and update customers accounts on your site. Something this small to fix, is causing horrible reprecussions to your business. Any customer, like myself and the others here, all found resellers because they were concerned about their merchandise and/or your companies business practices. Then, once reading all of these bad reviews, even with a few semi-good ones, it will not make a difference in the eyes and mind of the customer. So do yourself a favor: either hire help to take care of those two things, or figure out a way you and your current staff can accomodate it yourself.

This is for case.mod.com,
I cannot believe that I have to be the one to make efforts to contacting you. I've emailed you guys twice about my order and still get no response. Please cancel my order and give me my refund. I do not want it from your store anymore. You guys immediately charged my credit card and I had never got an email confirmation from you nor a response to the 2 emails that I have sent to sales@case-mod.com about my order. I ordered the Coolermaster Ammo Case. Please cancel my order. I called your number provided at your website and I emailed you twice and I even drove to the address you provided in your website...and nothing. I could not get a hold of anybody nor could I find a physical location to find you and resolve this matter. You wasted my time. PLEASE cancel my order and refund my money now. And please be decent enough to inform me that you have cancelled my order and refunded my money to me.
...I should seen the reviews before doing business with case-mod.com ...I would've never in my right mind even visit their online store.

Worst online store I have ever used. I ordered 10 days ago and have not received one single email including a purchase conformation. I have sent 7 emails with no reply. My order is still pending on the website. I tried to call them but the number just says :not available and doesn't even let ya leave a message.
UPDATE: Well they actually did sent my item but did not receive one email during the entire process and the fans I got Im not even sure are the right ones. Also the box they sent them in had the fans in there loose and bouncing around. The stickers on the fans are blank so im not sure they are yate loons. I purchased other fans from a different store that was great and they have the proper stickers on them.
My review still stands as the worst online store I ever purchased from. They do not have customer service period. Avoid this store like the plague.
UPDATE: To JokerF15 It is an utter joke saying that cox.net rejects your emails. I have been purchasing online for 10 years with the same internet service and never, ever had a issue. You also do not have a phone number that works so there is zero way to get a hold of this company.
If you go down the list and read all the bad reviews it is the same thing. I'm not the only person that has received zero communication and I'm pretty sure these people do not all use cox so you either need to come up with a better excuse or do what legit businesses do and actually have a system that works. Unfortunately, cox.net rejects emails coming from our servers, which is why you did not receive the emails we had sent you about shipment ETA for your order.
To the readers, as we have noted many times, all customers have received their orders sooner or later; even this customer did receive their order. Please do not be misled by the actual "score" listed on this site. We acknowledge that a few orders each month do get shipped late but hundreds of customer each week are buying power supplies and cases and good prices and receiving their orders on time; we hope that more of these customers will also share their positive experiences here. |

I ordered (2) Thermaltake radiators on the morning of Fri. May the 30th, my card was finally charged on Monday June the 2nd, I then canceled my order I made Saturday May the 31st w/ another online retailer that seemed to "have a pulse" lol
It is now Sunday June the 8th, & I still do not have a confirmation e-mail, & their website says I have not placed an order.
No sign of intelligent life whatsoever
Maybe it wasn't in stock?, & they are waiting for me to cancel so they can collect a 15% restocking fee for a product they never had in stock??
btw. I had to load Outlook Express just to e-mail them to request a confirmation e-mail, & a estimated delivery date (which has been ignored). lol
Does this seem normal to any 1????
Will update:
I called my cc issuer, they assured me that if I don't have product in hand on Monday June the 9th that they are going to "handle business", sadly my wife has to sit home all weekend waiting for a package that we know neither the day, nor the time of day it will be delivered, if @ all
@ this point I woundn't piss in their ears if their brains were on fire
ps. Just ordered a WD Caviar 640GB HDD today from newegg, they processed my order, charged my cc, & sent me (2) e-mails in less than 5 min.
Guess what? shipped out same day!!!!
I have learned my lesson, I will never deal w/ this web-trash again
To JokerF15: Place the pipe @ your feet, back slowly away from the pipe, & take care of your business
Well, it is Tuesday June the 10th, & my cc has been credited w/ my refund in full w/ no explanation, guess I will never know what their malfunction was
btw, they just screwed up w/ a guy that spends $10K a year w/ newegg building PC's for family, friends, co-workers, & fellow church members, probably no big deal to them as their family business is obviously overwelmed as their sales have grown, & they are now in over their heads
Word of advice: HIRE HELP!, & recover the good reputation you seemed to have earned in the past
Good Day Sir!
Ray Bellamy
peace
Edit: Really?, thruout the entire ordeal I successfully logged into my account on your website w/ ocgw@comcast.net, & my password where it still says I never have placed an order
To be fair I also logged on w/ "ocgw@comcas.net", & see an account, it says "pending, cancelled, & ETA mid July
But let's give you the benefit of the doubt, what did your e-mail say? Why was my order not wrapped, & delivered?
Inquiring minds want to know
My guess? You swiped my card on an item back-ordered, & not in stock, my suggestion? check & see if you have an item in stock BEFORE swiping ppl's cc, better yet update your website so ppl know what you have in stock

I'm only sorry I didn't read this page before I ordered from this this online store. When I first ordered the part I realized almost immediately I had made a mistake. I need CPU fans for a server I'm building, then I realized I had ordered only one. I sent an email to the store to see what I had to do to add another fan to the order, or to cancel the order and make a new one for 2 fans. No response. A couple of days later I sent another email, then yesterday I sent another. As of today it's been a week and still nothing. No fan, no email, no nothing. They did get the money right away though. If I don't hear from these guys today that my order has been canceled and my money returned I'm going to file a claim with my bank/CC company. As an online store operator I have to say I'm at a loss as to why anyone would have so low an interest in customer service.

I ordered an item at 12:20PM on Friday, April the 25 2008. Their policy is up to 48 hours processing time. The item did not process and ship until Wednesday, April 30th. That's 3 business days processing time, total of 5 days. What's worse, the item didn't even ship on the 30th, instead all they had done was either notify the USPS about the shipment, or purchase an online shipping label, because USPS didn't start tracking until the 1st of May. I opted for 4-7 day first class mail(I believe), regardless of the type of shipping, it was 4-7 day delivery. 7 days from the 1st of the month would make the latest possible delivery Thursday, May 8th. Well, it's the 9th, two weeks since I ordered the item, and it still hasn't arrived. Not only did they fail to live up to their 48hour processing, it seems they also screwed up the shipping. I've never known any form of USPS delivery to take more than 7 days from coast to coast. I have sent two emails over the course of this week, requesting a refund for the shipping charges because they didn't meet with either their processing or shipment time and I've received no response. I will never do business with this company again, all others should avoid!

Case-Mod.com is the worst store I have ever encountered on the Internet. It takes too many days before shipping out. Enticing deceptive schemes. Absolutely no reply to email inquiries. No reply to voice mails. No phone number over which one can directly talk with them. The fax number listed on their "Contact Us" page does not take fax calls. Very low morale. No or little sign that they are still in business. They may go out of business any time soon after charging your credit card before shipping your order.
Case-Mod.com entices you with deceptive schemes. Before I proceeded to checkout, my shipping charge was $7.36 for my zip code, according to the "Shipping Estimate" on their web page. This shipping charge was attractively lower than its competitors. However, at the last step of the checkout process, my shipping was raised to $9.43. The new shipping charge was higher than its competitors. However, I was tired. So, I reluctantly accepted the higher shipping charge and completed the checkout.
There is another deceptive scheme by Case-Mod. In my shopping bag, they showed "Spend just $1.01 more to get *Free Gift* USB LED Light & Switch Device with Case!". So, I spent a few more dollars. The free gift was put into my shopping bag. However, Case-Mod never sent me the free gift.
Also, do not be deceived by their "1 week only" special price. The "1 week only" tag has been there for at least three weeks.
Case-Mod charged my credit card immediately after I placed the order, before they were actually ready to ship my order. Case-Mod did not ship my order promptly. At their web site, the status of my order was marked "pending" for a week. Case-Mod did not reply to my email inquiries. The fax number listed on their "Contact Us" page did not take fax calls. Their fax machine seemed to be turned off. Case-Mod did not reply to the voice mail. There was no sign that Case-Mod was still in business. Finally, I had to conclude that Case-Mod went out of business after they charged my credit card before shipping my order. So, I went to another store and purchased the same product. However, after I obtained the product from the second store, I received the same product from Case-Mod. So, I got two identical products. One product is enough. The other piece is useless to me. So, it is the same as I lost the money. The loss was due to the facts that Case-Mod did not promptly send the product and that Case-Mod did not reply to my inquiries.
There is another warning. The Policy by Case-Mod states, "All refunds incur a 15% restocking fee, even if the parts have not been shipped." So, they can advertise products they do not have and take orders, and never ship the products. Customers who give up waiting for the never-arriving merchandise will cancel the orders, and Case-Mod will get the 15% restocking fee. By this policy, Case-Mod can make money from nothing. It is like alchemy.
Not only their deceptive schemes, but also their negligence to reply to inquiries is serious. Case-Mod should go out of business before they trouble more customers.

New heights in lack of communication. I guess I am too used to having the website be a store front for professional businesses. Pending for 2 days? No email response, a phone line that sounds like it is someone's home phone. I will be reading RESELLERRATINGS before placing an order. I will also contact the manufacturer that sent me to Case-Mod and have the link pulled from their site, to avoid future embarrassment. *******UPDATE***** Well it took 4 email and a threat to dispute the charge before I got any response. I was finally told "The 60mm fan is in stock now and we can ship it priority if you still need it. Let us know." along with my RMA number. As this was a time sensitive item. I ordered from another vendor. ************** DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR ********** This review was modified by its author, cactugeek, on

The worse company I've ever ordered from. Slow order processing and there's no way to contact them. They do not respond to emails. They don't participate in programs like BBB Online etc. I now understand why. Pay a little extra for good customer service.
