I was looking for a Garmin Nuvi 760 and found one at On Time Digital at a price that seemed too good to believe, so I called. I waited for about 25 minutes to talk to a woman who was clearly untrained in customer call centers. I asked if the products were new or refurbished, she replied that all their products are new. I ended the call still believing their price might be a mistake, but took the woman at her word and made the order.
Once I made the order I waited for a confirmation email. It came three days later! I was so anxious to receive my GPS unit that three-day wait was excruciating, and it was only to receive an automated confirmation. But... it wasn't automated.
Dave Weston, an alledged On Time Digital representative, emailed me. 'Dave' ASKED ME TO CALL TO CONFIRM MY ORDER (877-422-5115 x207). My first thought was that I had already confirmed my order when I submitted my approval to charge my credit card. But, I called. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach 'Dave', I called the main number and waited to speak to an associate.
I waited over a half hour to finally speak to a gruff individual who politely looked up my order and promptly informed me that he "noticed that I didn't order any maps with this unit." Knowing the unit COMES PRELOADED WITH MAPS, I told him that his website does not reflect such a condition when purchasing the unit and he will cancel my order and will not charge my credit card for the order or a restocking fee.
His reply was, "I would LOVE to", and he hung up.
I called Garmin to ask about the possibility of a reseller offering their Nuvi 760 without maps. Their first question to me was, "is the company out of New York?" ... and it is! Garmin continued saying that they have been getting complaints from people who have purchased their units from a company in New York.
I took the time to review OnTimeDigital.com to let future smart shoppers know how important it is to be careful who you purchase from. I have read previous warnings and I believe them to be true based on my own experience and the care that this website (sellerratings.com) takes to verify that raters do not make untrue and unsubstantiated claims against online sellers.
Whatever positive ratings OnTimeDigital may have on this site are grossly outnumbered by negative experiences and grave warnings to shoppers. Please take this fact into consideration before attempting to purchase from On Time Digital.

I had dealt with OnTimeDigital 3 times by now. All 3 times were great, same day dispatch for Regular Shipping, packages arrived in 2 business days. They have absolutely the lowest prices on the web for most of the items. They may also hard-to-find items in stock. Wanna know if a hard-to-find item really in stock? Just call them and ask! Real great service and best prices for US warranty items. Definitely will buy again.

DO NOT use this site!! I ordered a Canon 5D mark II w/ the New York package ($1,899.00) and a Canon Vixia HG 21 Camcorder ($479.00) and overnight shipping (219.98) on Dec. 20th. I printed the receipt at the end of the transaction, then I called them the following day to confirm that the online order was received and that the products would be shipped that day.
I waited 27 minutes on hold and then the person who answered told me that the model (5D mark II)I ordered was a plastic version (Canon only makes one version- Mag/alloy) and that I had to spend $4.500.00 for the body only if I wanted the real one. I told him that I only wanted what they sold me and that I had a receipt for. He then yelled at me saying I can't afford this camera and that he was cancelling my order and then he hung up. I tried to talk to the manager but was rerouted to the same person and he repeated that I can't afford this camera and stated that he was the one that ran the store and that I would never get anyone else to talk to but him. HIS NAME IS SEAN, so he claims.
I never received any products from them BUT the following week someone contacted my bank claiming they were me and used the same info collected by this site to get account #'s and then called back to try to clear the accounts out.
Could just be coincidence.
The bank caught on and contacted me. I had to close accounts and cancel credit cards.
This is a SCAM SITE!! DO NOT USE!!
They cannot deliver anything at the advertised price!! And they choose not to resolve any issues at all! This review was modified by its author, Bamsden2, on

I placed my order they send me an email to call and confirm it I called they told me the camera come without the battery which is not written in the listing but I said it's OK then they put my order in a backorder state for 6-8 weeks.. So ?I cancelled it..
I called the person who said he is the manager.. and he was very tough and impolite person..
So don't buy from this store.

Tried to purchase a FujiFilm FinePix Z20fd digital camera for their low price of $99.99+shipping. Not thinking, I bought the camera before logging on to RESELLERRATINGS.com, which was a big mistake. After reading all of the negative reviews I made a quick call to cancel my order and purchase from somewhere else. The operator was very rude when answering the phone and actually hung up after saying "Hello, What do you need?". After calling back I politely told the man I wished to cancel my order and he asked me "Why?", like I'm obliged to tell him why I'm canceling. I am just thankful he actually canceled my order, as I had read about them not canceling people's orders and continually charging their card. Overall, my first and last experience with Ontimedigital.com was pretty much awful.

have you ever seen reviews for shopdigitaldirect or soniccameras or ontimedigital? these sites will NEVER get you the product at the price mentioned. i ordered a sony HD-HDD camcorder from OTD on saturday, it was never shipped, when i called today, they were simply impolite enough to hang-up just saying "not in stock" or "what is your order number? let me check." trust me, sometimes they even did hang-up without saying a single word! same experience with the other two. looks like scam sites! STAY AWAY!
now, i am worried whether they are going to charge my credit card recklessly. i will keep an eye on my card from now on, if i see any charge, i will dispute, if i see multiple charges, i will change my credit card number. i already reported my card company today about this SCAM!!!
bottomline: if it is too good to be true, it is! This review was modified by its author, mukhi, on

My previous total of $500 some how now was becoming $750 or so . I explained to the man i was a visual person was getting to confused and need to go home and write the numbers down... i then did my research, maps are already on all garmin units. Most of the reviews say the same thing I am going to say. To cut to the chase, if you order from them and do not order batteries or extended warranty or any of their other add-ons, they will charge your credit card but your item will go on permanent backorder. And you will eventually get tired of their rude and obnoxious behavior, no returned emails, and no status updates and you will cancel your order. They need to put out of business, and the sooner the better.

Here is another review to confirm this is seller is operating a classic bait-and-switch scam. I placed an order for a Garmin GPS unit that was offered for an amazingly good price. The next day I got an email asking me to call to confirm my order. I called the number provided, and the clerk first informed me that the unit I ordered did not ship with a battery. I was a bit stumped at first. My girlfriend has a similar Garmin GPS and the battery is not even user accesible, it is built into the case. You'd like void your warranty opening the case yourself. I informed the person I spoke to of this, and he then changed his story to say the battery was included but the GPS did not come with any maps. This is silly too, because if go on the Garmin website they have what they call a "nuMaps Guarantee". Any new owner can download the most updated maps for free within their first 60 days of using the GPS. I didn't bother to explain that to the clerk, but asked to cancel my order. The clerk agreed to cancel it, but now I am going to be watching my credit card statement carefully to be sure this company doesn't make any unauthorized charges.
Stay away from On Time Digital!

As soon as order was placed I received an email 3 days later asking to confirm the order. I called during the posted hour and was told the store was closed. Finally got in touch with them on sunday once I forceully entered an extension. Then it began, would you like a warranty? Do you want the 1 hour 2 hour or 3 hour battery. Said no thank you to everything and asked when the camera would be shipped and if it was in stock. Said the camera was in stock and would get here in 3-5 days. Checked today and saw the order was now "backordered" I am canceling and going to a more reputable source.

I bought a Garmin 880 from their website.. which was for $416 atleast 200$ less than what is available anywhere else.. I got an email asking me to call them back to confirm the order.. The guy was like.. do you want a warranty? I was like I have a couple of questions and he says.. sorry I will have to cancel your order.. I asked what year maps does it have 2009? and he said it doesnt come with any maps.. I was shocked and then he asked me if I would buy it in $699.. I said I need it in the price I bought it for and then he wanted to give it in $600. I told him he couldnt change the price on me.. and his answer was - "I can do anything dude..".. and hung up..
I called again was transferred to him again and he said the product you ordered is not in stock.. then he was like if you want to pay 700$ we can ship it to you with 2009 maps.. and when I said they should honor the price they sold on their website.. the guy made an obscene comment.. I said I would have to report this to consumer court and his answer was "Wooooo I am scared.. Bye" .. and he hung up..
I had my wife call as a new customer.. they kept transferring her 3 times and then hung up.. and tried calling again and it quickly changed the message to our office is currently closed..
Its a huge SCAM.. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ONTIMEDIGITAL.COM

Do NOT buy from ontime digital!!!!
They are pulling the classic bait and switch and upsell scam!!!
Ontime digital is obviously operating from a script. After placing my order for a digital camera, I receive an email several days later to confirm the order.
When they have you on the phone, they begin the scam. They tell you that the camera can only operate with nickel metal hydtare batteries - which is not true. They offer to sell you the battereies and charger for $79 which is a completely ridiculous price. You of course balk and then they try and hook you in by negotiating the price of the batteries. I was infuriated by such deceptive sales techniques so at this point I demanded that the order be cancelled but "Joe Grant" said that the order is already in the system and cannot be cancelled. He was an extremely rude and vulgar character. I called the credit card company and told them to accept no charges on this card. However, it was too late and the charge was aproved and th item is on its way. I will have to now dispute the charge.
