Just placed an order for my 4th desktop computer with this company.
1st two computers were shipped to me in Hawaii, worked great for 4 years, commercial movers moved me, and both computers did not work. 1 had bad power supply (I replaced, computer works great) other had bad motherboard. Tried new motherboard from NEWEGG, it was bad, NEWEGG refunded me completely but wasted 4 weeks with non-working computer so bought another computer from PCUSA in July 2007 and no problems so far.
Granted I could put together a computer from parts and save maybe $25 to $50, but just not worth the hassle if parts do not work.
BTW, I am purchasing my 4th computer because the computer I built from scratch in 1998 still works fine but can't handle newer games.

ordered a comp from this company after a horrible experience with another online computer reseller (mpcomp.com) and they have been totally awesome. My package was shipped 5 days after i placed the order as promised, i was sent an email telling me that i would receieve a tracking number within 24 hours which i did and my package arrived on schedual via UPS. was a totally easy , cheap, trustworthy company which was a total relief, i know online ordering is shaky especially when you are spending computer size money, anyways have no worries, pcusa.com is legit and i vouch for them.

I ordered one of thier AMD "you pick parts we build and test" systems. It arrived at my house 8 days later (wow) and booted up without a hitch, I installed WinXp and everything is chugging along nicely.
The case is better looking than I expected.
The optical mouse is a POS but what do you want for $5
I would do business with these guys again.

Ordered barebones AMD.
- very, very cheap....$268 shipped for fully assembled Athlon XP 2700+ w/ CPU fan, PCCHIPS MB, 128 MB DDR2700 (333 MHz), Case w/ fan and 300W supply.
- processed quickly and delivered promptly...was also sent an e-mail with UPS tracking info...well, shipping was $36+, so i better have gotten one.
- arrived in good condition.
- there was a "warrenty void if removed" sticker on the case....dunno why as i had to open up the case to install HDD and other peripheral devices. might be a problem later......
- after installing everything else i wanted, the computer seems to work fine. at least twice as fast as my older AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz computer.
- case looked better than expected...especially for price...also, there are a LOT more bays than expected..very good...i could put at least 6 HDD if i wanted to.
- however, power supply not as good as expected...certainly, not as good as antec. i wasn't able to power as many HDD as i wanted.
- also, the CPU is advertised as 333 MHz FSB..however, it seems that the PCCHIPS MB is limited to 200 MHz FSB...and what's worse is that the computer will only work if the FBS is set at 166 MHz FSB.
i will be giving PCUSA a call about that soon.
i will also update if there's something wrong with the computer later.

I've order several systems from PCUSA (PC Source). All the systems were just as I ordered them and they worked perfectly. If I ever need a complete budget system again, PCUSA is where I will go.

I purchased a PC from PCUSA, and have yet to encounter any problems with it. They offered competitive prices and I recieved a good pc! The day it was suppossed to ship, I recieved it! Shipping itself, though, was very expensive. I would definetly order from there again!

System was shipped as promised on their website (within 3 weekdays). I am really impressed with how much I got for my money. Product quality and assembly are top notch. I would definitely shop with PC USA again.
I was a little hesitant in ordering from a site without SSL encryption, but I still think it was worth it. This review was modified by its author, hexamer, on

Greatest available. Great prooducts, from the low end to the high end. take great pride in their work. We've bought 8 computers from them. I especially like the way they knock off the price if you pay by check in person. By the way, they DO have a toll-free number: 1-866-goPCUSA. The nutball below must not know that 866 is toll-free.

As a business owner I am very impressed with the customer service and timely manner that PC Source has achieved. I ordered a system for a client on monday, by friday afternoon it was sitting on my bench. The system far exceeded my expectations. It was built and functioned perfectly. I've been in this business a long time and have never found a company that takes the pride in their product like PC Source does. Keep up the great work guys. I guarentee PC Source my entire client base as long as they continue producing a world class product.I really enjoyed doing buisness with PC Source. They take professionalism to a new height in the computer industry. This review was modified by its author, Dreamweaver, on

I ordered a complete AMD system from them, I called later that day to arrange pickup in atlanta soon. They scared me and told me that they didn't have the motherboard I choose and they were running out of the processor I ordered. Somehow by the end of the conversation I had upgraded to a better motherboard at cost and got the same processor. Drove down to ATL next day after I ordered it and picked up a new computer. Worked great.

This was my first attempt at building a computer.
I purchase a CPU/MoBO/Fan/Case/PowerSupply Combo.
They installed all the above. I opened box read instructions as I went to open case the VOID IF REMOVED sticker was on the side. This was scary I still need to install Video, HDD, etc... Opened case installed 2 sticks of 256meg RDRam and everything else needed. I found that they didn't plug in the Aux power, so I did. Turned it on and no video. Trouble shot for a while the next moring I called and they told me they don't offer Help. "The CPU was working when it left here. You must have done something to it. I trust my techs. before I trust customer" Making me think I just wasted $500.00 dollars. After 3 days of calling and trying 3 video cards, They had me fill out the RMA and 3 more days I got the RMA Approval and spent another $15.00 to ship it back to them. They told me it was my RDRam and they shipped it back. This was my mistake the Ram was not 100% identical. Not just the PC800 or the 256 megs each, But they where not physicialy IDENTICAL. Now everything works fine and they paid to ship the CPU back to me.
If you are doing this for the first time maybe you should deal with someone in your home town.
PCUSA --NOT FOR NOVICES
Poor Tech Support

I had a fairly positive experience when I first bought from PCUSA, even though they sent a better and more expensive CPU fan instead of the one I really ordered. However, after 8 months the fan became noisy, so I recently tried to contact PCUSA as to how to use their 1-yr. warranty. First of all, out of the MANY questions I answered via email, they only answered a couple, and very slow about answering. Tried phone but waited FOREVER so I gave up. Secondly, I would have to ship back the defective fan, be without my computer for who knows how long, and if I FORGET to specify on an RMA form that I want the fan I ACTUALLY ordered, I will get charged extra because they will ship the more expensive fan to me, since that's the one I sent back to them. It's not my fault they shipped the wrong one to begin with! Normally it would only cost a few dollars to ship fan back to them, and I would save by using the warranty, but I think I'm better off getting a new part at a local retail store for around $15! If you think what you're ordering might fail, beware, especially if you can't live without the part for awhile!

Accidentally shipped me a higher priced/better valued CPU fan for same price as the one I actually ordered, though I'm not complaining! Also, I ordered a motherboard, CPU, and fan and I think to save shipping costs and space, they installed the CPU and fan directly on the motherboard for me. Since I've never installed a CPU before, I really liked that. Not 100% satisfied that they don't have a 1-800 number or they don't have security on their website for ordering, but I suppose that keeps costs down. At least they have email. Overall, I'm satisified because the products work, were very reasonably priced, and shipping was in a timely manner.
