ordered pump and some other item's on 1/17/07 at mid day recieved conformation email for order. I checked order status at the site and it said the order was verified. I waited until the following week to checked status of my order there was no change sent email for delivery status and got no reply. I don't use a free email account. After 10 days with order going no where I called there costumer service phone # and canceled my order. When I called all I got was the voice mail. I will not do buisness with them again my order was over $100.

I'm never buying from these guys again..placed an order..received email confirmation..credit card was charged..1 week later received email saying item back ordered!! Went to site and the item is still for sale with no indication "out of stock" This is the second time they screwed me..wont happen again!!

I sent an RMA nearly a month ago, and have not yet recieved my part. I have sent them numerous E-mails throughout the past few weeks, and have left them a voicemail, and have yet to hear back from them.

I ordered Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound from CoolTechnica and recieved Arctic Silver Ceramique. I've left 3 unreturned messages asking for the AS5. I've sent a email that went unanswered.  
Please do not do buy from CoolTechnica.

We shipped him an AS5 once he notified us via USPS on 11-1-04 (USPS Label Number: 0103 8555 7493 1357). His last e-mail received on 11-02-04 was also responded and we didnt receive any further e-mails from him.  
 
If he left a voice message on November 14th or 15th, unfortunately we wouldn't know, because of a problem with our voice mailbox system we didn't receive any voice messages on those days. This problem is posted on our home page under the News section, and we publicly apologized from our customers for any inconveniences this may have caused them.  
 
We stand by our customers' satisfaction and we are sending him another AS5 to show our good will.

I ordered a TC-4 waterblock from www.cooltechnica.com on 2/26/04 because they had the lowest price I could find and they were in New York, the same state where I live. Well, after the high shipping charges and sales tax, I wound up paying $42 for a $25 block ... no big deal I guess.  
 
A week after my order, I emailed customer support to find out why I had not received my order nor a tracking number and got the following response:

I then did not hear from them again for a few days, so I sent a couple more emails to which I received no replies. Then today, finally I received an email saying that my order had been shipped and gave me the tracking number.  
 
Well ... here are the details on the shipment:

So, the bottom line is this ... He waited a week to ship the package at all. He charged me sales tax because I live in NY, yet shipped the product from Canada. I searched the whole website and I could not find anywhere that it said products even shipped form Canada. And I won't receive the product until Mar. 11th, which is 2 full weeks from when I placed my order.  
 
Next time I'll be ordering from D-tek directly or from somewhere else. I am very disappointed and I highly suggest against ordering anything from this company.

Whether the block was shipped from Canada, California or Timbuktu, it still was shipped a full week after I ordered it! If I pay New york sales tax to a New York company, I expect to receive a product from ... NEW YORK *gasp*! Instead I receive a product shipped a week later from across the country where I could have easily ordered it myself and avoided the sales tax, delay and high shipping cost.  
 
Bruce only offered to refund my shipping or a free refund IF I changed my review here. And I have not received any "full shipping refund for my inconveniences" either. Great business practice to bribe people into getting good reviews huh?

This customer's order was shipped directly from D-Tek (drop shipped) and it was shipped from California not from Canada.  
"US BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED"  
= UNITED STATES BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED!  
"ONTARIO, CA, US ORIGIN SCAN"  
=ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES ORIGIN SCAN!  
Cooltechnica is a US company, and so is DTek, and his water block was NOT shipped from Canada!  
 
We didn't have any TC-4 blocks left in stock, so we requested drop shipment from the manufacturer (D-Tek) as we informed him on March 3rd, in order to prevent any delays in shipping. Unfortunately we didn't have any control over shipping, since it was handled by DTek.  
 
With that being said, as a company that values its customer's relations, Cooltechnica took full responsibility for the delay and offered the customer two options:  
1. full refund including shipping charges  
2. shipping refund and keep the block if he liked it.  
The customer stated money was not an object, and refused our offers. At any rate, Cooltechnica issued a full refund on the shipping charges for the customer's inconvenience that was caused by no fault of our company.  
 
EDITED ON 03/16/2004: It was shipped 5 business days after he placed his order, and he was informed that his order was coming directly from D-Tek. Yet he did NOT object to it, nor he asked from us to cancel his order if it's shipped from any state other than New York. Again, we are required by law to collect taxes in Nevada, and New York, no matter where the packages are shipped from.  
A full shipping refund for the amount of $5.82 was credited on 03/13/04, after he stated that he's not going to change the mistakes in his comment on 03/10/04. It may take up to 3 business days for refunds to show up on credit card or bank statements.

Made the order then i got an emailed response "unverified address" which isnt a problem considering i just moved so i requested it get shipped to a differnt address. The response i got was billing address wasnt correct either. No problem, i request that the bill go the same place as the package. The last email i recieved from them was on 1-26-2004. since then ive sent at least 4 more emails asking if that address worked, are they going to ship, and if not how about my 78 dollars back. When i look at there site it says the order is pending.

This person placed an order using an "Unverified" paypal account, a hotmail e-mail address, and neither his billing nor shipping addresses could be verifed. According to the UPS address verification page the billing addres provided does not even exist.  
 
Since his paypal account is unverified, there's no way we can know if this person even resides in the USA. It's every online businesses responsibility to take the necessary steps to prevent suspicious activities.  
 
We contacted this person explaining him that we can not process his order unless he gets his paypal account verified, and provides valid addresses. This time he asked us to ship to an entirely different address, but still did not get his paypal account verified. We contacted him again, and kindly asked him to get his paypal account verified, otherwise we can not process his order.  
 
Since this person failed to meet our security measures, we cancelled his order, and refunded his money back via paypal.

These guys are horrible. They sent the wrong product. Then, finally got the right product to me. They also sent me a ups label to send the wrong item back. Now they are claiming they don't have the product and say that they are going to charge the card purchased on for the product. Take my advise find the product you are looking for some place else.

Customer contacted us and claimed that he received the wrong product on June 3, 2003. He said he needed the item urgently and asked from us to send the “right product” ASAP. We took this claim seriously and sent him another product on June 3, 2003 (the very same day) via FedEx Standard Overnight free of charge (FedEx Tracking #:790799020243). So basically he received the “right product” the very next day (finally?). We also created his RMA and sent him a UPS label (UPS tracking#: 1Z419YY69042870793) electronically on June 3, 2003, so that he can send the RMA back to us without paying any shipping charges. Today is July 11, 2003 and has been over a month and we never received the product back.  
When we contacted the customer we were told that, he dropped the package to a UPS location.  
We contacted UPS right away and they told us that they never received this package and it’s not in their system.  
UPS Tracking page also clearly shows that UPS has never received this package.

Cooltechnica, the first time I've ever had to lookup the Better Business Bureau on the internet.  
 
They sold me a DangerDen Blue Acrylic Reservoir. Unfortunately the thing turned out to be really badly glued, which I think is unusual for DangerDen products. Anyway, Cooltechnica refuses to take it back. They have a 100% NO RETURNS policy.

The last two times I have ordered from them, it has taken forever to ship. This most recent order that I placed on 9/25 did not ship until today, 10/3 and only after I e-mailed them asking where it was. All of the items were in stock and I never received any sort of notice that shipping was delayed or why it too over a week to ship my stuff.

Cooltechnica was a great store to work with, affordable shipping options to Canada, and was really, a pleasant shopping experiance.

Order was confirmed, processed, and notified for shipping by the 18th of Feb. E-mailed company on March 1st for non-reciept of order... shipping company had nothing more then notification. Promptly replied and said they would look into it. Received no follow up mail, even after inquiring... but tracking for shipment showed pick-up and enroute.  
 
I'll give partial credit for using their non-standard shipping (I used USPS instead of UPS, due to some issues with UPS's quality of shipping as of late).  
 
Items came well packaged, and with no damage when received, 2 days after my inquiry.

While I was extremely satisfied with the length of time it took for the package to arrive (ordered monday at midnight, received thursday), I did not receive what was described on their website.  
 
I ordered 1 WW USMA bracket and 2 black nylon wye connectors. Not only did I receive white wye's instead, but the USMA bracket, which is advertised with a mirror finish, has many scratches over it; they are quite noticable. I am beginning to think that this bracket has been previously owned.  
 
I emailed cooltechnica 3 days ago requesting replacement, but I have not received a reply.  
 
EDIT: I never received a reply. I was also billed twice on my bank statement. This is rediculous. Be careful if you shop here.  
 
EDIT 2: I was not aware that the email address was bouncing back for you - this has never happened before. Anyway, I will attempt to contact you via darkenreaper57@gmail.com. I also left a message via the phone number provided on the website.  
 
EDIT 3: Well, I must say that cooltechnica has some excellent customer service. It has restored my faith in the company. I will probably order from them again. I have revised my review.

We replied to his e-mails on a timely manner but they kept bouncing back from his server. We also sent him RMA instructions via e-mail, but it bounced back from his server too.
