Totally incompetent. They just sent my time-sensitive order out to the wrong address. The order clearly states shipping to Florida, but they've sent it out to my billing address in California--where I no longer live. What a waste of Fedex 3-day. Extremely upset; it's been a long time since an online retailer made this kind of mistake.

As soon as we were notified that there was a problem with the FedEx delivery (Feb 20), we credited all shipping charges in full. The delivery error was corrected and the package was delivered on time.
After this review was posted, we contacted the customer and received an email response stating, "I received my package last Friday, on schedule. I think Fed Ex was able to correct the problem." |

I ordered Thursday, Dec 4th and paid for 2nd day premium shipping ... My order was not sent until Monday .. amazingly after I emailed them ( and got no response ) .. My order arrived today ( Dec. 10th ).. I only assumed my order would be shipped on Friday the 5th .. no delivery on weekends .. and I'd get it Monday, Dec. 8th ... Didn't work ... I was ripped off for the premium shipping ... I could have taken the standard shipping and got it within 5 or 6 days ... I don't have a gripe about the product or the shipping agent ... just Thomas Distributing and their policies.

Ordered Imedion batteries. Great price, but over 6% of the batteries arrived dead (unusable), and will have to be returned.

I bought a charger, batteries and tripod/ digital camera kit from them... Just to say that the price is great and fast shipping, BUT I did input on the site GCNE10 for a 10% discount, it worked at first, but on my VISA they just gave me 5% discount... I called them and they told me they NEVER HAD 10% discount and it is because the site is in a transition! You can't just give me half the discount after my online invoice confirms 10%!!!! The 10% discount code the customer used is not valid. The discount code was maliciously posted on other websites, and we have a disclaimer posted on the home page of our website. As a courtesy due to this system flaw, we did give a 5% discount which is usually reserved for returning customers who have legitimately issued coupons. Refund in full was also offered to this customer. |

No purchase made because the site presents totally inaccurate information about countries they ship to.
Website is totally cluttered, and badly designed, so finding a specific product takes more time that it should.
Update (Jul 28th): Thanks to Thomas Distributing for answering. It is sad that the wrongdoing of some Brazilians led the store to cancel shippping to Brazil.
However, there is a page that still shows Brazil as one of the countries the store ships to, and it was based on that information that I decided to buy merchandise from them here in Brazil, and not in the US, where I was living until the end of June.

As of today (July 28th, 19:13 UTC), the page still lists Brazil as one of the countries the store ships to.

Unfortunately, we have had to discontinue shipping to Brazil due to incidents of fraud as well as refusals to pay Customs and Duty fees. We regret that this customer was disappointed; however, Brazil is not listed on our current web pages and has not been for some time. |

Showed item is in stock even when it was not. Although I was informed about this the day the order was submitted, subsequent questions were ignored, without answer. Shipped item 10 days late without contacting me if I want a shipping upgrade. When I called to upgrade shipping, I was lied to that the order had already been shipped, while it had only been billed (meaning that the label had been printed). The phone customer service was prompt, although unhelpful. The web site is unimpressive. Overall, far from the 9.80+ mark. I would say this is 8.50-9 company.

We regret that there was a backordered item. Fortunately, this is not common. The customer was notified immediately and no further emails were received. All emails are answered within 24 hours unless they are received on the weekend in which case they are answered the following business day. This order had been shipped when the customer was told that it was. Tracking showed it as only being billed because the package had not been scanned by the shipping agent at the hub. |

After researching MAHA batteries and chargers, I read reviews on this company that were posted here on RR. Their price was reasonable and the merchant had a good reputation, so I ordered.
Everything seemed to go smoothly, but I never received any emailed confirmation. So after a few hours I called them, and was told their systems were down for a required software update, and they couldn't even access my order. Well, this left me a little uneasy... After two days they apparently got their system together, and I got a confirmation that my order shipped. It arrived pretty quickly once shipped.
Unpacking my order, I found one of my new batteries was defective. I called Thomas, they said "we'll replace it". Two days later I had the replacement - no problem.
Bottom line - I'm happy, I think they did well by me. Two phone calls to a merchant is unusual for me, but both times they were quite decent on the phone. The early web site glitch was "unfortunate" - a note on the site might have been helpful. My problem was resolved quickly with no hassle, and they sent so many battery holders in my order I don't know what to do with them all...

I bought an Accupower battery charger from Thomas Distributing. It arrived promptly, but something was wrong with the AC charger.
I tried contacting the USA manufacturer rep directly to get a replacement part, but it took several weeks for them to ship one out (and they never answered the phone). That didn't work and I decided to contact Thomas Distributing.
Definitely should have done this before! Thomas Distributing promptly responded to my request, shipped out a replacement charger, and took care of shipping my defective unit.
I've bought from them before, and will continue to do so! :-)

Ordered 20 AA NiMh batteries and a battery charger. Recieved 8 AA batteries and the charger within a week. Filed a ticket about the missing 12 AA batteries and got those in the mail the following week. Good customer support for missing items. Would definately order again. I ordered on sunday and got my package on Friday. Not too bad being where they are and that I ordered 3-5 day shipping. I do have a complaint though:
I filled out a specific form to choose a different billing and shipping address. I wanted to charge the order to my visa which uses my home address for a billing address. However, I wanted the order shipped to where I work because there's usually no one at home during the day while I'm at work.
The email they sent me after placing the order clearly showed they would be sending to my work address and billing to my home address.
HOWEVER, when I got the email confirmation from UPS, it showed my home address city in the "shipping to" field instead of the city where I work.
Sure enough, the order was shipping to the wrong address. It was shipping to my home instead of work. Lucky for me someone was there to sign for it (very unusual but it worked out ok).
I'm not that mad because it got there, but I think it's a pretty simple task to send to a different address than the billing addres, especially when you have a specific form to fill out when specifying this. Makes me kind of wonder about the competency of the company and it's workforce...

WOW!! i ordered Galaxy of Games from here and it arrived quick! and it was NEW and Unopened and in perfect condition O.O and the game first came out about 13 years ago lol. But yea i was soooo happy when i got it cus it was my favorite game when i was younger :D The game was a lil high priced for an old PC game but it was soooo worth it! :] I will definatly buy the other galaxy of games CD's later on when i get extra money cus this sites buying experience was Great! :]

It's a pleasure to write an excellent review for Thomas Distributing. This is my third order. My second one didn't reflect the website advertised discounted shipping correctly. A short email and my 3 bucks was cheerfully refunded with a nice email from a real human being.
I love spending money with this company. Best name products and at sale prices. And they offer discounts on shipping on some items. Good, comprehensive website.
When I need batteries I don't shop any place else. They are just a pleasure to buy from for every reason you can imagine. All mail order companies should be this good! Thanks Thomas!!

I have ordered three different chargers and lots of rechargeable batteries from Thomas Distributing in the past few years. Their products, prices and customer service are top-notch; that's why I'm a repeat customer. Out of the dozens of batteries I've purchased, I had one AA that was DOA. They went out of their way (and above and beyond what was necessary) to fix the tiny problem.
I wish all mail/web-order companies were as good as Thomas.

Decided to check out Thomas Distributing after seeing favorable comments on CandlePowerForums. Sure glad I did! I ordered a charger & an asst. of batteries from them. Everything was received in good condition with no problems at all. Very quick shipping! Placed my order Tuesday morning & my package was on my doorstep Thursday morning. Wow! The website was easy to navigate & checkout was a breeze. I will definitely go back to them for all my rechargeable battery needs. If you haven't purchased from Thomas Distributing, check them out - you won't be sorry! Highly recommended!
