My son had purchased some parts from Newegg.com to build a computer. He ended up having to send some parts back that had been received damaged. I was concerned that he would have to pay the shipping fees and restocking fees. I placed a call to Newegg customer support and spoke with Regina Martinez. Ms. Martinez was not only very proffesional but without hesitation she sent UPS shipping labels and waived the restocking fee. It is very nice to have this kind of customer service for a change!! Ms. Martinez thank you and keep up the good work.
EDIT(8/29/2008). After speaking with Dianne, a customer service rep, I'm even more of a Newegg fan than ever before. Newegg contacted me and checked up on the order that I had received, and offered me a discount on my next order. They even bumped up shipping so it would get out quickly despite the holiday weekend. Needless to say, I'll be ordering from them again.

Ordered the parts for a new PC. Ended up getting a call from Newegg wanting a conference call with me and my bank to verify my new address, because otherwise the bank "wouldn't clear the transaction". (I had moved recently). I called my bank to ask why they were requesting this, they stated this was not the case and that the charge had been cleared earlier that day. I called Newegg back, and got a more experienced CS rep who quickly clarified that really they just needed ME to verify my new address, and got he whole mess sorted out, and my order was shipped the next morning. All in all more trouble that I have had with prior experiences with Newegg, but the rep did say it was likely due to a new CS rep in training. However, it did make the overnight shipping take 2 days to process and then ship.

I placed an order for a new camera recently. Newegg offers combination deals when placing your order. One combination deal was an 8GB memory card for $9.99 with an instant $9.99 discount (free).
I forgot to check the box to add this combo to my order. I contacted Newegg customer service and they confirmed that I did not select the option but since I had a history of purchases with them, they sent me the card and absorbed the shipping and handling charges.
I consider that great customer service. I go to Newegg first when ordering electronics because they often offer free shipping and they always have great prices.
Newegg is wonderful to work with. I purchase all my parts there, and have had very few issues. Any issues I have ever had have been taken care of immediately. Customer service goes above and beyond, and you couldn't ask for better shipping times. Loyal Customer for life!
A friend recommended this site to me this last june. Though I trust me friend I looked the website up on a wiki to see why everything was so well priced. The site showed many awards and was accredited for their customer service.
I have orderd numerous items since June 08. I received the items VERY quickly. The products were as advertised and were not damaged or used.
I recently made a mistake in an order and contacted customer service. The received a very proper response quickly and the error was corrected.
I am very satisfied with my experience with newegg and I recommend them to EVERYONE. If you are gonna buy something online CHECK WITH THEM FIRST. I never have to check another site now ;)
My favorite thing about the site is that you can review many, non-bias reviews. This helped me in my first computer build and I am VERY happy with the outcome.

I've recently purchased many items from Newegg to build a new computer system. Newegg's prices are good and they shipped out the items quickly. My only complaint about Newegg is that their shipping rates are a little on the high side. Other than that, I recommend them highly.
Shawn F was a very helpful customer sales rep. I did not read the FINE print on returns and wanted to return my Garmin GPS unit. I was not satisfied with the unit. Shawn decided to instead of just telling me i would have to keep the merchadise to explain to his supervisor the situation. With Shawn explanation I was able to return the unit. My first experience was better than every experience with Mwave's customer service. Long story bought my new computer from Mwave and was clowned. Anyways great job Shawn and thanks again.
One of the Items I received was incorrect and malfunctioning, but Newegg eventually amended the issue and refunded the money. Excellent customer service (but sometimes you have to be persistent). Would buy from newegg again.

I have only been familiar with Newegg for a year or so but my experience with them is excellent. Their prices are hard to beat and shipping is always fast. I find the customer reviews extremely helpful before making my purchasing decisions. Their customer service is the best. On my last order the price dropped $10 after my purchase. I called Newegg later in the day and they credited my card with the difference. Thanks Newegg!! You Rock!!
Good all around company. Over the years I've built a couple computers ordering parts from Newegg. Recently I had some RAM go bad and they exchanged the chips just like that.
I have been shopping at NewEgg for over 4 years. They have a great website, and always have the most cutting edge tech at the best prices. I also use their website to keep up on what is the latest and greatest and find myself going to it almost every day. I live in a large city with numerous discount tech stores but NewEgg always beats the local prices. I have bought everything from laptops to minor computer components and am never concerned about doing it online instead of locally. The last laptop I bought came with a dead USB port and I had a replacement in 5 business days, also, the price dropped after I bought it and they credited the difference. The customer service is outstanding. I can only think of a few times when the rep was less than satisfactory, but, anyone can have a bad day.
I can honestly say that the only consistent problem that I have is something not in their control, shipping!!! My last purchase was one of these problems. I bought some RAM that offered free shipping and it was taking forever to arrive and after talking to a rep, Cristina L., she had another one shipped to me overnight at no cost.
Maybe I'm just unlucky because in the customer product reviews (which is a great feature on the website) there are often comments about fast shipping. If it is a large purchase I choose FedEx since I have never had a problem using them. If it is a small item I generally go with whatever shipping is the cheapest and I guess you get what you pay for.
But as I said before, NewEgg can't control it when it leaves their warehouse so I can't fault them. Their prices are so good that I can put up with the occasional shipping problem.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and colleagues and do so often.
These guys are awesome. I've been with them for a very very long time. I think I did one RMA way back. Never really had to talk to them until I had an issue with my credit card. It wasn't their fault, I had to go back to my credit card to see what's wrong and had newegg re-process my order. They did it three times, and each time I talked to them, they were friendly. Also, during the third time, they even upgrade my shipping to two days for free. hahah that was cool!!
