New Egg is by far the best on line electronics store on the net. I have built my last 3 computers with their components, and overall they have the best prices, greatest variety, fastest shipping, and best customer service anywhere. In addition, I have ordered other various electronic devices and never had a problem with a return if needed. As an example, i recently ordered a hard drive and 3 days later it went on sale. One call, and their customer service representative credited me the difference...now that's great customer service. Their shipping is extremely fast and I have actually placed orders on Monday morning and had them at my door on Tuesday afternoon with regular shipping. New Egg rocks!
After I received my memory, I noticed that one of the modules was defective. I bought the memory with a rebate so I was worried I wouldn't be able to redeem it since special was over.
Cooper Jia seemed to go the extra mile to not only pay for the return shipping but also help make sure I received the rebate.
Newegg has been the place I go to for my computing needs. They generally have the best deals. The often have fantastic deals. They always have fast shipping and excellent service after the sale.
Maverick and the NewEgg team rock! I fully made a mistake on my end with my credit card company and did not provide the proper billing information. STILL, after three frustrating attempts (MY FAULT), NewEgg made sure I received all of the discounts and I feel like a real winner. I will be ordering more gear soon as I like the way they do business.
Items arrived well ahead of estimated delivery date and in perfect condition. Prices were great except that Newegg's location requires me to pay tax. Nevertheless, the tax hit is worth the great service.
Also made some inquiries by phone and was happy with answers made by competent call center person.
Newegg had the best price on a DSLR battery grip the day before I placed my order. I put the item in my "cart", went back to the website today to complete the order but there was a glitch in my computer that would not allow me to access the cart. I called customer service - after a couple of attempts to rectify the problem failed,the rep suggested I try another computer. This worked but indicated a $20 price increase (overnight). Without a great deal of fussing, I was given a $20 credit, allowing me to purchase the item at the price I expected. And the item was on its way to me the same day. Eggcellent service for sure.
I had purchased a PALiT NE/880TSXT302 GeForce 8800GT SONIC 1GB graphics card not know the brand and should have stuck with my brand name PNY... the card craped out just at my 30 days...I wanted a refund, but was told by the C/S agent that my 30 days was up...:( I said ok ill take another, but to my suprise they did a refund anyway to make me happy...NewEgg rocks and I will always use them...thx NewEgg for great customer service...If your going to try a off brand expect a off brand quality...Happy Shopping
I had ordered a new keyboard and new speakers. They were shipped out to me within 5 days of my order (over labor day weekend). The speakers were missing an audio cable that hooked it up to the computer and I was really hoping I didn't have to RMA the whole thing for just a stupid cable.
I called up Newegg support and they agreed to ship out a cable for me to use FREE OF CHARGE. This was very suprising and made my day.
I recently purchased a gigabyte motherboard from newegg when my old one fried. A $10 discount on the product (which I believe was effective because of labor day) had just been removed so I called to ask if they could honor that. They were very helpful. They honored the previous discount and in addition gave me free shipping because it was my first order. I am very pleased and impressed, and would recommend them to anyone.
I have a similar story to tell as Dannis before me. I accidentally ordered an extra pair of headphones from Newegg (I wanted three but ordered 4 instead). When I called Newegg’s customer service, I expected them to give me troubles for what was definitely my mistake. Instead, they promptly refunded my money for the extra pair, and actually told me to keep the extra pair (s&h would cost more, they said). The whole process was quick, efficient, polite and accommodating. I was amazed and grateful.
Newegg has an amazingly easy to use website and excellent product selection, but they also have the best customer support of any reseller I've dealt with. They will gladly accommodate you however possible, ranging from providing accurate answers to waiving certain fees in peculiar situations. I have been using Newegg for several years now, and I forsee myself continuing to do so.
In all the years I have been ordering from New Egg, this is the first time I have had to return a product for refund. The fault is mine not New Eggs, I ordered a power supply to small for my system. RMA was fas and easy but label would not print. Called cust support talked to Tommy Bruno who was great!! He e-mailed me the label prob solved. I made a purchase from newegg for new parts for my computer. They shipped the products out immediately and I had them later that week with only about 9$ in shipping charges. What a steal. I bought a new processor, motherboard, heatsink, power supply, and memory. Unfortunately due to MY OWN MISTAKE, I ordered a heat sink that did not fit my motherboard/processor combo. Newegg refunded me the money, and let me keep the heat sink!!! What service. I promptly ordered the right one and should have it later this week. Newegg rocks!
