I ordered a new printer from NewEgg but the charge was rejected. A call to their customer service fixed the problem quickly. Gilbert Marquez figured out I had made a mistake on my card info. Great prices, great shipping rates, and great service, too!

Newegg.com is a GREAT Online Retailer!!! Through my Whole Shopping Experience and the Follow Up Tech/Customer Support, was really a pleasant experience.
They went out of their way to satisfy my product purchase!!!!
I have shopped Newegg several times beginning in 2002 and will state once more (Their Prices and Support Services are the BEST I've Ran into).
Check them out before you purchase somewhere else!!

Well, this is my 3rd order with NewEgg, far more than my 3rd interaction -- I like keeping track of everything EVERY step of the way; PLUS, I'm really pretty nervous & skeptical of this whole "buying things via the internet" deal. When I buy locally, I don't deal with shipping, waiting, & I can talk to people directly, right away when I have to fix or change something (returns, exchanges, price questions, etc.). Plus, my access to the 'net has been spotty for a bit more than a year, since my old computer died :) .
So that hopefully gives some context for my review.
This is my 1st review because: It's the 1st time after an order that I haven't felt too busy with other things to sit down & write up a review, & After some consistent experiences, I feel more qualified to write a meaningful review, & inclined to recommend NewEgg.
My experiences with New Egg so far have been very, very fine.
I 1st used them because my friend & tech adviser recommended them; & because prices are pretty consistently better than elsewhere I've looked for many items, & the CS is as good as friend told me. I really use & enjoy their customer product rating system as well, & learn more about the products by reading a range of reviews than from tech specs alone.
Even when problems pop up -- & they always do, for every business, eventually given enough time, even if problems are the fault of someone else in their chain -- the thing to note is not the fact a problem occurred (as long as it isn't LOTS or OFTEN), but how the business deals with problems that do crop up. I had a problem with my 1st order with NewEgg, & they handled it excellently. More in a bit.
I LOVE: They send LOTS! of feedback throughout any process! In particular, I get copies of the order & invoice, as well as constant updates on shipping status of my order or its various parts. I always know where things are, & which parts are coming together or apart for various reasons (such as different source locations, or delays for individual parts). The letters have links back to the NewEgg site & pages where I can get updated status, shipping info, billing info, & more. They always have your customer number & your order, for handy reference as needed. It's pretty slick, satisfying my information jones well. Same updates for RMAs.
Additionally, I've gotten e-mail follow-up after phoning Customer Service [CS]. Sometimes a generic sort of "We're glad to have helped you, thanks for doing business with us," sort of letter; sometimes reassuring & informational follow-up specific to the topics of calls I've made.
While ordering must be online, CS folks gladly answer questions. They've so far always been friendly & informative. They admitted when they didn't have info the 1st moment it was requested; & they researched to find the right answer, & confirmed with other sources to make sure it was right. They've been patient & clear with me in explaining processes & how we're going to do something.
My 1st order, Feb '08: lots of parts to build a whole "PC" computer system, around $500.00 worth of equipment. I had to exchange the motherboard & the PC case, because both had problems on delivery. NewEgg never questioned me, & the RMA process was a fair breeze! They e-mail the means to make & print the UPS return shipping label. I stuck it on the box & shipped back at their expense. They notified me of receipt, & again when they opened the box to verify contents, & ... : again, great consistent status updates every step!
Another fine example of dealing with a problem well, & one beyond their control at that: Since the RMA'ed parts were bad, they offered free overnight shipping on the replacements, to minimize my overall wait & thank me for the business.
Then it turned out the motherboard was out-of-stock. Ah well, it can happen, but darn, bad timing & luck! But given the situation overall, they offered the free overnight shipping for my next order with both a motherboard & case, & gave me instructions how to get it.
As it turned out on MY end, I had to wait until October, for a tech adviser to tell me what kind of mother board to get now, & I chose a different case at the same time. I ordered them & a USB/hard-drive adapter cable on 10/08, & called in the next morning about the shipping. They comped shipping for the whole order*, even after 8 months! The notes were in their system, & the CS guy didn't even pause :) . I EXPECTED them to honor their offer but ... That was nice, & reassuring to this guy (see 1st paragraph about me ordering online).
*(In retrospect, I wish I'd remembered I also want to buy a USB/Parallel_port adapter; it would have been shipped free, too :) . But I was too excited about FINALLY ordering & having a new PC, so I forgot it. Well, it's not unfair to pay shipping on something unrelated to the 1st problem anyway, & I'll definitely order it from NewEgg.)
My 2nd order was 2 USB drives -- no hitches w/ it, or my 3rd order so far! NewEgg EARNS my business!

I have been ordering products from New Egg Since 2001 and have been very satisfied with their business which is why I continue to shop there. I have also encouraged many others to shop with New Egg for their computer products.

Newegg has the best customer service out there. Had a problem with my order, but it was taken care of within 10 minutes of me contacting them.

I have ordered many products from Newegg.com and I've never had any problems with any of the products they send. I highly recommend using Newegg.com for all of your online purchases.
Purchased 2 2GB sticks of RAM for my Latitude D630 and its awesome!

I ordered all new parts for a quad core system - cpu, mobo, case, power supply, ram, harddrive, cpu cooler, IR remote control, etc. As always, it was a smooth transaction with newegg. I ordered at night, and it was processed and shipped immediately next day. I also came across a $10 coupon code the next day that would have applied to my order, and newegg customer service happily applied it retroactively. Newegg is probably my favorite online retailer for any type of product.

Newegg is the greatest find ever! I now buy almost everything technology-related from them, both for myself and for my business. Great prices, low-cost (often free) shipping, and phenomenal customer service. Eggcellent!

I bought a striker II formula Mobo to build my dream gaming right, but i was surprised that it came broken (from asus not newegg), I sent the mobo back and it to 10 days for it to arrive to newegg thats a bit long to live without a computer... still that's not Newegg's fault. I plan to buy from newegg from now on as it seems that every time i buy in the "business district" here in florida i get ripped off in horrible ways by people who sell you broken things without any warranty.

This was a return visit to Newegg and I ordered the wrong memory. I made a call to their 800 number and was taken care of IMMEDIATELY! No pressure to buy just a refund and kindness...WOW.
I would rate this company a perfect 10.

I have ordered from Newegg many times, and have had very few problems. Recently I placed an order that was shipped to the wrong location (UPS' fault, not Newegg's). Newegg offered to cancel that shipment and re-send the same order via UPS Overnight and offer a credit for the trouble. I've had to call several times to get the credit applied, but the new order was shipped overnight as promised. Out of over 10 orders placed with Newegg, this is the only time I've had any sort of an issue, and I feel that they have taken care of me as a customer.

This is the second time I ordered something from Newegg and the item arrived the next day. Both times I selected the cheapest or free shipping method and still received the item the next day. I will definitely buy from them again.
