I ordered a video card and it arrived on time. Installed it according to directions and it did not work correctly. I tried several different ways and still did not work. I hated the thought of calling and getting hassled. Didn't happen. Very polite and understanding and took care of the problem immediately and in an English I understood. Thanks Newegg!
I am blown away! At last a company that knows what customer service means. The short story is that I had ordered some ram with a mail in rebate. I didn't get it into the computer until a couple of days before the rebate had to be mailed and found I had a bad module. I called Newegg and explained my problem. Bad module and no time to return it and get another delivered before the rebate had to be postmarked. Imagine my surprise when customer service said what they could do for me. It was exactly what I was going to ask them to do. They authorized a full refund right down to the shipping back and told me I could reorder the same memory because there was a new rebate that would give me time to send it in. I will always start my shopping at Newegg from now on!
Cathryn Yan Rocks! I purchased two hard drives that went on sale the following day. Even though I was not eligible for the special she made an exception and discounted the drives. This is why I continue to purchase all my computer needs from Newegg.
Shopped around for motherboards/CPU/RAM for about a week when i was finally ready to purchase newegg.com was always competitively priced with other companies. If it comes down to a couple bucks price difference I go customer service for my decision and newegg.com is proven it's loyalty the consumer! BTW check out eggxpert.com
As always, Newegg is great. I've had occasional problems with products I've ordered, but never a problem with Newegg in taking care of me when those problems have happened. They will continue to get my business for as long as they are around and I'm building computers.

My first purchase of what will become an exclusive buyer/seller relationship! All I have to say is WWWOOOWWW! I purchased an Canon EOS Rebel XSI from them on Friday, with free 3-5 business day shipping, including an 8GB SD Card (free). During the billing verification process, they incurred an error due to my bank having an old phone number I hadn't updated. Newegg emailed me within the hour, per their instructions I updated the phone number w/my bank via telephone & called Newegg back. Within minutes they'd verified everything, and then apologized for the delay - WHICH WAS MY FAULT ALONE - and gave me 2nd Day Air shipping at no cost! The package arrived this morning and included in the box was an SD Card reader!! I cannot say enough about their quality of Customer Service. My wife & I are truly impressed - no, "blown away" would be better - by their high level of professionalism & courtesy. I am priviledged to have been served so well by an outstanding group as this.
I have ordered many times from Newegg and they have always been the first site I go to when placing an order - until now.
I had a horrible experience with their RMA department. After receiving my order from them, I went to put my new system together. I was pretty dissapointed to find out that the WD 640 GB HD I got was DOA though - but these things happen, right? When I contacted newegg, their representative (Martin) was nice, and promised me to cross ship the replacement with overnight service. I was delighted. I quickly ran out to UPS and shipped my dead HD using the UPS slip they gave me and notified Martin, who said he will notify the RMA department to ship my HD.
3 days pass - I get an email from the RMA department notifying me that they received my HD. 7 more days pass, and still no package (I was out of town and couldn't check earlier). I was furious! I contact newegg again, and they give me no explanation as to what happened. Just that they contacted the RMA department to send it out to me ASAP. It should be here in 1-2 days...
So now, what was promised to be a overnight RMA is turning out to be almost 2 weeks. 2 weeks! I am supremely disappointing in Newegg and will now be looking elsewhere when I build my next system.
User beware - you apparently need to keep on top of the RMA and bug them to make sure they send out your replacement.
Update - Dianne contacted me soon after I posted and dug into the issue. One day later, I had my new HD, as well as some incentives to come try newegg again. Overall, I am impressed with the level of customer service Dianne provided, but I wish I didn't have to post a negative review in order to get it. Because of her efforts, I will give newegg another chance, cautiously. I will keep this review up until my next order, when I will revisit this.

When you think of the kinds of things that get people excited, online electronics resellers are rarely what comes to mind. Newegg.com is the grand exception. I regularly visit this site for great product reviews, and on almost every product page, at least one person has voluntarily saluted Newegg for their incredible customer service, great prices, and fast shipping. I can't possibly think of a way Newegg could improve its service (short of opening a warehouse five minutes from my house ;-) Newegg, you truly rock.
As always, was a pleasure doing business with Newegg.com. For my latest build, I submitted my order right before the "rush order" time cutoff, with the hope to get my parts before the weekend. In my haste, I typed in the wrong expiration date for my Credit Card. So payment failed. After calling Newegg, I was able to straighten it out and they were still able to accomidate my rush order, even after the specified time. Newegg is the best, and my #1 place for computer parts.
I've shopped at several online vendors over the years, but I prefer to shop at Newegg. They carry a wide variety of electronics, and a good selection in every category. Their prices are usually among the lowest advertised. Their website has a lot of technical information on items listed there, as well as user reviews, both positive and negative, on most things. Shipping has always been quick, with no hassle. On the odd occasion that I have had problems with defective merchandise, Newegg staff has been very professional and courteous while resolving my problems.
In short, I couldn't ask for anything more from an online vendor. Newegg has gotten the bulk of my online business for the past few years, and certainly will continue to do so.
I am a very satisfied customer, and would heartily recommend Newegg to anyone looking for electronics at a great price.
I purchased two itesm to upgrade my home computer. The items were delivered quickly with updated tracking. Unfortunately, we had a problem with one of the items compatability with my computer. ONE call to customer service and everything was taken care of! I love this site and reccomend it to anyone!!
This is the first time that I have had a tiny problem with NewEgg. They totally screwed the shipping. I figured the system was totally automated, except on package didn't have the main address line, and the other package didn't go out until 2 days later. So the first package only arrived because I had to call up UPS and tell them the correct package. Then the second package arrived a day late as well.
So, I 'chatted' with NewEgg Customer Support and after describing my situation I was given a full refund of the shipping. So they really came through for me in the end!

Update: Newegg finally came thru like a champ. I did have to wait for a month to resolve this but it was well worth it since I got the motherboard basically for free. I'm back to Newegg, buying my computer stuff and other. I'm so glad to see the old Newegg back to what it has always been in the past,fast cheap and courteous to customers. Thx Dianne!
I have purchase from Newegg.com for years and never any problems at all. However, seems that lately Newegg has slipped way too many times. I have had three problematic orders from Newegg out of the last 4. The one I'm reviewing here is a Foxconn motherboard. I purchased it on a 6am to 6pm sale. Out the door I paid 53.61. The order did not go thru. The next day I received an email informing me that the order had not been process. To make a long story short, I have been communicating with Newegg by phone and by email to no avail. They will offer a discount but the total price out the door never matches the advertised price. In frustration I wrote a letter to Newegg headquarters and today 08/26/2008 over a month later from the day of the sale, I received a response from them. They offered me a discount on the Motherboard but still!! It comes out to more than the total I paid out the door during the sale. In one conversation with their rude sales person I was basically accused of wanting to cheat on taxes. I have given up dealing with them, I filed a complain with the BBB today 08/26/2008. All I ever wanted was for them to honor their original advertised price, not a penny more or less! Is not my fault their server, admitted by their sales person, made an error.
