The motherboard was defective, and Newegg was super great in the RMA process. I will continue to purchase from Newegg because of their great customer service.
I really like this website, and I think once you get to know all of the features they have you can really get the complete experience shopping online, for lack of a better word. I got free shipping, and their customer support was really neat. Instead of complicated links that go on forever that lead to e-mails that could take days to get a response, they have live chat so you can speak with a representative. It was quick and I retrieved all my information with a please and a thank you. I'll probably buy any computer parts in the future from this site.
I had unfairly judged Newegg in my earlier review. I have since had further dealings with Newegg and have been extremely impressed with the high quality customer service I have received. I feel confident recommending Newegg to friends and family.

It's very rare that I have to return something I order as I research price and features in great detail. I experienced some power related issues on my home UPS which led me to believe that my system board had been damaged. After testing the board plugged into a standard surge stip my problems went away. Unfortunetly I had already ordered a replacement board since I was experiencing locks at the Bios screen and spent several weeks troubleshooting. My UPS completely died 2 days after ordering the replacement part and NewEgg proved that they have top notch service for their customers by waiving the restocking fee for me. I highly recomend NewEgg for price and above all their service in addition to the great product reviews from customers you get on the items your intrested in.
My most recent purchase from Newegg was a laptop which had a damaged screen upon arrival, however Newegg refuses to repair it or exchange it with a working unit or give me refund.
I did RMA this laptop but they sent the same unit back to me after 1 month of holding it, stating that there was nothing wrong with it. Naturally I refused the second delivery (RMA return) of this broken product and opened a charge dispute with my credit card company. The CC company reversed the charges however now after 3 months the CC company says they will charge me for this laptop because I refused accepting the 2nd delivery, even though I don't even have this product and Newegg has it as I write this. I guess the CC company is as crooked as Newegg itself.
Of course I will never buy from Newegg again. But I am writing this review to caution anyone who is thinking of buying from Newegg and to not be fooled by all these glorified reviews.

I noticed a discrepancy between an item on the 36 daily deals page compared to the price that was actually charged when I put the item in my cart. I chatted with Serina and she promised me that she would credit the difference if I was to send her an e-mail with the order number. I have yet to see the final order or the credit but given that I have shopped at NewEgg for well over a decade, I have no reason to believe they will not keep their word. I have nothing but praise for the high level of customer service from NewEgg. They have always gone out of their way to please me after recognizing me as a long time valued customer.
The only thing that puzzles me about them is when they ship a computer case without ensuring that the box is substantial enough for the abuse that it gets going cross-country. I haved received numerous shipping-damaged cases from them and even though they have always paid the return shipping or made other concessions that cost me, other than lost time, 0 additional dollars out of my pocket. It seems they have not learned the value of a bit more package protection when shipping these items.
Simply the best reseller on the Internet. I had the first issue after shopping at Newegg for over five years... 1 item was missing from my order. I called their Customer Sevice department and the representative was very couteous and helpful. He overnighted a replacement item (Windows 7 Home Premium)and my faith is restored in Newegg.

I've been using newegg.com throughout the years, and have never been disappointed. Cheap, in many cases, bottom cheapest, prices do not often come together with great customer service, but I am happy to report newegg is a very nice exception.
Newegg is by far the best company to buy computer parts from. They will honor the manufacturer's rebate if yours doesn't come through, I don't know any other company that does that.
Best company ever, enough said.
I misread the product description while ordering a set of 2x 2GB G.Skill DDR3-1600 Ripjaws and thought they were 16000MHz. I received the RAM today and contacted Newegg to see what my options were to switch to the other set and Laisa, the CSR I spoke with through Live Chat, was very helpful in assisting me. She helped create an RMA for me and issue a shipping label to expedite the return process faster. This is my first experience with returning or exchanging an item with Newegg and I am very impressed with the help I received. Thanks Newegg.
Newegg is really a fantastic company. Their shipping is incredibly fast (even with the cheapest option), the products are covered if they arrive in poor condition (though I've never received anything that way), and they have impeccable customer service. Even if you go pricematching and Newegg's a little higher, it's still worth going with them.
