Ordered at 7:00AM, Tues,04/14/2009, Phenom II 940 CPU and, a Gigabyte am/3/2/+2 Mobo. Shopping and Selection was clear,easy, and the price was right.
Will serve up the meat and potatoes on my next report *after* my order is delivered. Makes no sense to deliver 'kudos' before shipment arrives since this is my 1st Directron purchase...Later

All of my computer parts came expediently, packaged well, and most importantly in good working order.
Excellent prices and quality products.
I will definitely order from Directron.com again.

**UPDATE** I received a call from Marcos, a customer service rep from Directron, this afternoon. After a brief, very polite conversation, they offered to refund my shipping and a portion of the order for the delay. Turns out that the item was a special order not in stock, and they could not drop ship it because I had requested USPS shipping to a PO Box. He conceded that they could/should have called or emailed about the delay with options to fix it using a physical address for drop shipping. Even though this did not happen, their quick response and attempt to rectify the situation after the fact was an excellent example of customer service. While this, my first experience with them, hasn't been a great one, I certainly will give them consideration when shopping in the future, as, due to their service and desire to make things right after the fact, I feel I just was an unlucky rare bad occurrence.

I placed an order on Sunday, selecting 2-3 Day USPS Priority shipping so that I would have my package Wednesday or Thursday, counting on it being shipped Monday. Even if it had been shipped Tuesday, I would have had it by end of week, as I needed. However, THEY DID NOT SHIP UNTIL THURSDAY - 4 DAYS AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER!! It was a simple order of 2 sticks of memory. So now I will not be able to complete my system build this weekend because of their unacceptable processing time. Purchased an atrix Mid Tower computer case Model CSCI-A9006-C43, w/smart Temperature Monitoring system display. The unit arrived with all the screws missing from the back of the display, after I installed all my computer hardware inside the case only to find that the display unit was dead. It is a good 'piece of junk' I am returning the item for a full refund.
UPDATE: I received a call from Marcos in customer service at Directron, he stated that Directron wants their customers to be satisfied, and Directron will be refuning me the full purchase price and the $18.14 shipping. Marcos had attempted to contact me before I sent the unit back, but he was unable to contact me at that time. A big thank you to Marcos and directron for great service. This is my second purchase from Directron, the first was a winter special pc and it was even a better value than it first appeared. Every part was name brand and they shipped all the original packaging for the individual items. I've already recommended them to my friends and coworkers. All of them have similar comments. Thanks for the prompt service and great value.

This was my first purchase with Directron, Wont be my last, I had a little problem ordering, I wanted to use two credit cards, site only setup for one but that got worked out by calling customer service.
Any way My computer was delivered on time and undamaged, Directron did a great job on packaging the computer and UPS done a great job of getting it to me on time and undamaged.
I had Directron build me a barebone computer, and paid for the assembly "best 27 dollars I have spent yet". The barebone was complete nothing was loose computer started right up once I hook it up and attached the power cord.
I ordered an addition fan for my case, it was also installed, I am a very happy customer. I got the computer I always wanted, took a year for me to save enough money to buy it, so I was a bit worried that I might get ripped off.
I found Directron through google looking for barebone systems, I am typing this on my new system, I don't know what else to write, just letting everyone know this is a great company.
My experience with Directron and with UPS was wonderful on my purchase and delivery.

This was my first order from Directron - a reseller with which I had not been familiar. Found them through a Web search for best prices on the items I wanted. They shipped promptly and products were received in good condition when expected. Their packaging was especially good - frequently low-priced sellers skimp on this and products arrive damaged.
Their Web site could stand some improvement: it is too easy to confuse billing and shipping addresses (they seem to be aware of this). I made this mistake and e-mailed a correction. They did not respond though they had apparently made the correction. I had to phone to verify and the person on the phone was less than cordial. But all turned out OK.
I would definitely shop them again.

Great service once again from Directron. I mistakenly input my billing zip code as my shipping zip code (typed without thinking), and Directron called shortly thereafter to correct it. It was fixed, and my package still shipped out the same day.

I order supplies for a public library and found Directron.Com while I was searching for a place to purchase flash drives. They have the BEST prices, products, customer service is excellent and delivery is QUICK QUICK QUICK! We refuse to buy from anyone else!!! We are very happy with DIRECTRON.COM!

This stuff was to be new and looked
like it came from a 20yr old swap meet.
It would not pass for new and not only
that I was suppose to get a 3 percent
discount which they never applied.
They sell Used Stuff at this store
and you cant trust if yours is going
to be new or switched with used stuff
so they can make a better buck.
there shipping is high also.

Sometimes we make mistakes when ordering. It's great to be able to return it without a hassle. I ordered a CPU from Directron, and before it arrived, I discovered that it would not work in my ASUS barbone system. Got a RMA number in a few minutes, and shipped the unopened box back.
