Ordered 5 items around noon on Monday. They called to confirm the address later that day. All products arrived in excellent condition by Tuesday afternoon (UPS ground). I am very impressed with their speed, acuracy, quality, and prices. I will definitely be refering my friends and will shop from them again.
Haven't hooked up the new parts yet, but hope I won't need to use their return policy!
update... Computer is running great with all of the new parts. Didn't need to return anything. In fact, I have already ordered and received more prodcts from them!

On the whole is and has been a good place to shop for those "Gaming Goodies." I often come here and have done so for some of my wanted parts over the last 10 months for the final build of 2 New Screamers... And they call you if need be which is a nice touch. Personal Service is a great sign of a committed company who wants your business and is willing to make that call. When not doing so may mean lack of repeat sales and general customer satisfaction. But they are too close to Rosenberg for my liking...LOL... You need to be from Texas to get that...
Perfect deal. They were a little high on the item I wanted but it was OOS at the other reputable sites I frequently use but supply and demand in the way of business.
I ordered an AMD 5050e specifically because I wanted a 45W dual core of at least 2.5G stock for use as a PVR.
I placed my order and found Paypall was a very nice option. It was easier than pulling out my CC and sending it over the "Net one more time and all I needed to do was remember my PW. Super slick purchase.
The item was shipped quickly and arrived via UP in great condition. Overall I am very happy they had what I needed and able to get it out ASAP.
I have not had to use their RMA so I cannot say how they would do on returns. Hopefully I won't need to find out.
I want to add that several years ago I bought an MSI board from them. They called me the following day to say they were OOS and apologized. One of the guys - can't remember his name- helped me find another board with a few extra features and he let me have it at the same price.
I was very pleased to know they would call me during the day and put a live person on the phone with me to resolve the issue. I would rate them an A+ from my limited experience.
I needed a certain revision # of a Gigabyte mobd. I asked 3 vendors of they could ID the revision before purchase. Amazon said they couldn't do it. Mwave didn't respond to my email.
Directron checked & verified that they had what I wanted. I also purchased a HD & DVD burner from them.
Their low prices as well as personal service has made me a continuing customer.
This is a great site that made it easy to find what I needed. The values are crazy, so I ended up buying another item. Very happy; would definitely visit again; will definitely recommend.
Products are always 1st class. My complaint is service. Their check in service does not always yeild 1st come 1st served.
Today I was there 9 minutes after they opened, I was the only person in the store. I signed in and waited. Two others came in, one signed in and one went straight to the counter where he was waited on! WTF..why even sign in?
I waited 2 people and 15 miutes later to get 1 ram bar!

This merchants service far below satisfactory.
1) After ordering an item from them on May 15 I received a telephone call on May 16th stating the order was 'on hold' and I needed to register my ship to with the credit card issuer.AT no time during the order process was I informed that this would be the case.
2) rather than do this I called them on May 16th and cancelled the order
3) The customer service rep I spoke with said I would receive an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation, which I did not receive
4) I had to call AGAIN on may 18th and spoke with a representative who told me the ORDER WASN'T CANCELLED. I then told him to cancel the order AGAIN and received an e-mail confirmation
5) On the 20th of May, I noted the 'HELD ORDER' had been charged to my credit card.
%)If you do not see the problem with situation then go ahead and order from these turkeys, you get what you deserve
This stuff was to be new and looked
like it came from a 20yr old swap meet.
It would not pass for new and not only
that I was suppose to get a 3 percent
discount which they never applied.
They sell Used Stuff at this store
and you cant trust if yours is going
to be new or switched with used stuff
so they can make a better buck.
there shipping is high also.

Usually when I order online, I have the order sent to my work address due to the fact that that is where I am at. Normally, the company never calls about the discrepancy in addressed. Directron did! Within 2 minutes of placing my order, a man called me and asked if I indeed ordered because of the address discrepancy. That really impressed me.
As far as pricing, I got my item almost $100 less than any other competitors site. I will definitely order from them again.
Placed my order this morning at 8:30am and by 3:00pm got confirmation with tracking number it was shipped out.
Fast service best price and availability what more could I ask for. This is my 7th order and all have gone smooth as silk. Directron gets another A+.

Excellent store to get all your pc parts at very low prices!!! They beat all the local area prices when it came to memory, wireless cards, and even refurbished pc systems complete with OS and monitor!!! Excellent place!! Will defintely be coming back for all my future pc purcheses!
I purchased a custom built system from this company for over $1500. I was told that system would be tested before it was shipped. When the system arrived I could not do something as simple as load windows xp on it. After spending over 20 hrs on the phone with the support department of the several of the manufacturer's of parts in the sytem, I was told directly by the motherboard manufacturer that I need to send the system back to the vendor. That they obviously did not test the sytem.
After delivering it back to the company they claim that there is nothing wrong with the system when I have pictures and documented support sessions that prove that it is. They tried to make me pay a 20% restocking fee. Currently I have disputed the charges with my bank and am trying to warn people who read these reviews to think carefully about any interaction with this company.
After having spoken with Marco from Directron, and taken agreement of refunding of the transport charges and Canadian taking out of bond, I modify my review. I am very satisfied with the agreement and thanks Marco from Directron.
