Buy.com is really at the top of their game right now; offering products at competitive prices, free shipping on most items, and having coupons to provide even more savings. I have recently been finding myself buying many items from Buy.com, not only items for my business PCs but also Playstation games & accessories, and also books at prices less than Amazon. Every order has arrived quickly and is exactly the items ordered. Hopefully Buy.com can maintain this level of price and service unlike so many companies that after a few years fall by the wayside (like CDW).  

I've dealt with buy.com now for about a year. There selection of computer components isn't the greatest, but what they do have, prices are good, shipping is cheap, service is good and fast. Never had 1 problem with them as of yet. Will continue to do business with buy.com

Bought Canon s750, best deal available THIS time. FedEx ground ship worked well. Notification very good, wish they would put the link to FedEx track in the e-mail.

I have done a significant amount of business with Buy.com and had been extremely pleased with their selection, prices, speed of shipping, and customer service.  
 
However, I purchased a USB 2.0 hard drive from them that was advertised to include a PCI USB 2.0 adapter card. Upon receiving the item and finding no card, I contacted them. The answer given to me was that the mention of a PCI adapter was a requirement, not a feature. However, the line in question was clearly under the "Features" heading on the product page. In fact, this particular product had no "Requirements" section at all! They refused to send me the PCI card as advertised. This has soured me on Buy.com for the forseeable future, and I advise everyone to check their advertising very closely and inquire about any supposed produce features.

They ship very fast.Every time I order on the weekends I get my item(s) on a Tuesday or a little later that week. I wish their prices were more competative.

Still the king for retail products and selection.

Great experience. Bought it one day, had UPS ground shipping, it came the next. good price, too.

After shopping around online, I bought an SD card for my palmtop on Sunday, was in my hands Thursday night.  
 
Though usually not the case, buy.com was a few dollars cheaper than everywhere else I could find online, and the free shipping was quite nice.  
 
My one complaint is that I would prefer it if they emailed you the UPS tracking number rather than make you go to their website to get it.

Ordered two pieces of Linksys wireless networking equipment, 10/23 AM. Great prices, free ground shipping. I got a ship confirmation e-mail 10/24 AM, and THE PACKAGE ARRIVED THAT AFTERNOON. AWESOME! The "free shipping" offer applied to ground shipping with 7-10 day predicted time, but total time from order to delivery was about 30 hours.  
 
I've been doing business with buy.com since they opened, and have never had a bad experience. They always ship immediately, and have always equalled or beaten predicted shipping times.  
 
My only nit to pick is that sometimes the "comparison" price (i.e. the price they quote as street/retail, to which they compare their price to tell you how much you save) is inflated. If you go by actual price and ignore the "You save $xx.xx" stuff they still have some of the best prices around on a lot of stuff.

I placed an order for 2 DVD's, and received an immediate order confirmation indicating that both items were in stock and would be sent to me within 24 hours. Here it is a week later, and no DVD's. My online account shows that the funds were not taken out for these items. I emailed in twice, and called them once, asking to please process my order. Nobody could explain to me WHY my order was not being processed. Finally, after even more inactivity, I cancelled the order and took my business elsewhere.  
 
I suggest you take your business elsewhere as well.

I have been ordering from buy.com for quite some time and always recieve my products quickly. Though thier prices aren't always very competative.

ship time was great! ordered CF card and reader at 2pm, shipped by 7pm and arrived next day! good job!

I ordered a Zaurus handheld, and a wireless CF card and SD memory card to go with it. Turns out that Sandisk changed the write latency on their 128 MB SD cards making it hit and miss with the Zaurus. I went to the website, hit "return", I instantlly had a prepaid return shipping label and had a credit within 10 days of mailing the package.  
Good experience all around.
