Ordering from crucial is about as easy as it gets, and this time they proved that they actually know how to behave on the phone as well. After ordering RAM for a laptop model by mistake (it was our fault), they credited the account immediately, and while we did need to pay for return shipping, the RAM stick that we wanted was shipped out that day and arrived the next - less than 24 hours later, at no additional charge. Highly recommended.

I have ordered many sticks of memory from Crucial over the years, both for my personal use, and for building computers for others. They have always been top-notch. In all this time I have never had a stick fail, ever, until the other day. My main gaming computer started acting a bit goofy, I tried drivers, changed some minor hardware, etc. Nothing fixed the problem. I was attempting to find the actual problem, then during a reboot, I get the beeb---beeb---beeb, oh no, memory error. I reached in and felt the memory, one stick was very hot. I pulled it, rebooted, and all the "goofy" problems disappeared. I ran a few more tests with different machines to insure this stick was really bad...it had never happened with a Crucial stick before. I contacted Crucial, someone answered in what must have been under 30 seconds, but I am not sure as I was in shock at this point. I briefly talked to a very knowledgable and friendly tech, and explained my situation. He asked me a couple of questions about the behavior of this stick of memory. I related the steps I had gone through to determine if this stick was bad. The tech actually laughed and said, "It looks like my work here is done, I will patch you through to someone who will get your information and get you a new one immediatly." I held for a few moments and another pleasant and knowledgable person came on the line, with all information ready to go. Issued me an RMA and asked if I wanted to cross-ship, or wait until they receive my bad memory. I said I wasn't in a hurry and they could send it when they had my old memory in hand. I promptly sent it via USPS, and within 5 or 6 days my new stick arrived in the mail.
This is one first-rate company and I will not buy memory from anyone else at any price. They are not the cheapest, and I even must pay tax on the memory, but their prompt and free shipping, along with excellent customer service, and an outstanding product, will keep me buying from Crucial for years to come.
PS I give my customers no choice in a couple of areas, one is the memory I will put in machines I build. (I build custom gaming rigs and business computers on a word-of-mouth basis, I have to have the best parts.)

Well I had ordered some Ram directly from Crucial and one stick from a company, that charged me more and just ordered it from crucial and had crucial ship it to me in the company's name. Well this stick and another one died on me, well actually burnt up as I was putting them into a computer. I was put on tech support and waited an astonishing, I timed it, 13 seconds. 13 seconds to actually talk to someone, that has to be a record. The amazing thing was they addressed me by name without me telling anyone any information whatsoever, that was freaky, but they just use caller id on my phone number. Already had all of my info pulled up for me and issued an RMA number right on the spot, the woman sent out new Ram over the phone without me even having to ship it back to them before they ship it to me. I returned the sticks later the next next day and when I got back from UPS, my new Ram was waiting for me and ready to be used. Awesome service, will definitley order from them again.

I purchased a 256MB PC133 CAS2 SDRAM module from Crucial. The ordering process went on like a breeze - no problems at all. Within few minutes, received a order confirmation. The next working day, received shipping information. The memory stick worked like a charm. I would recommend others to buy memory from crucial. Ofcourse, I'll buy from them in future.

Crucial came highly recommended on the Dell|Talk customer forums. While their prices aren't the best, it's worth the extra $$ to use their website, experience their excellent service and shipping standards, and be able to return the memory if it doesn't work...100% guaranteed!! I order two memory sticks and both arrived within 2-3 days, were well packaged, and undamaged. Both are working great!! You should buy your memory (and videocards now, too!) from these folks...NOW!!!

The memory I ordered from Crucial arrived promptly, was packaged excellently and worked without problem.
I particularly like the facility on their website to determine exactly which memory is compatible with your motherboard - very handy.
I was impressed with Crucial's service, and I'll be using them for memory products again.

Ordered memory over the net at 9:45 AM and the order was completed and notification sent out at 11:45 AM. Although I selected the 2 day (free) shipping, I was able to pick up the order at FedEx the next day at 3:00PM, on a Saturday. No wonder they have such great scores!!
