I placed an order for a Belkin UPS on July 30 2008 AD.  
Item arrived badly damaged. I sent emails to customer service for replacement. I received contradictory replies. Eventually, Fedex picks up the damaged item after about 10 days.  
 
Since then I never heard from them. They charged my card and they avoid replying to my emails – they delete emails without even reading them.  
 
Bunch of crooks. I'll report them for internet fraud.  
 
AVOID THEM, AVOID BEING SCAMMED!

I was very pleased with the checkout process and the website layout, it was really easy to shop. I also received my product quickly!!

Great place to do businees. Order was shipped free and reached me in 3 days. Could track the order right along. Very professional online service and offered the best deal I came across after an in-depth search.

I received my items exactly as ordered and quickly. My problems with this vendor is their communication with customers.  
 
I placed an order on Friday, Aug. 1 and only received an order confirmation shortly thereafter. I checked later in the day to discover that my item had shipped, but could not find a tracking number.  
 
Since I knew that this order required a signature, I wanted my tracking information letting me know when I needed to be home to sign for this item. When I hadn't heard anything by Monday, I called Techonweb and they could only tell me that I would receive my tracking number in 24-48 hours. Keep in mind, that when I called it had already been 3 days.  
 
It wasn't until early Tuesday morning that I checked on their website to discover my tracking number which informed me that my package would be delivered that very day. The tracking information also revealed that the item did not ship until Monday, although my invoice indicated a Friday shipment.  
 
If I would have been at work, this delivery would not have been possible. I did receive the tracking email later that morning and received my package later in the day.  
 
Although Techonweb seems to be very reliable, I wish they would improve their communication with their customers by providing more timely tracking information.

Techonweb has the WORST customer service I have ever had the misfortune to encounter in on-line shopping! These are the type of companies that give internet buying a bad name. Their return policy is almost non-existent and they cannot even spell "customer Service", let alone practice it. If you are planning to buy from them, ensure that you select the correct product beacuse they leave you NO room for mistakes, do not care about customer satisfaction and could care less about their customers once a sale has been made!!! No returns or exchanges are possible so read the fine print on their web site very carefully!! BEWARE!! I will NEVER buy from them again even if they were the last company on earth!!!

I ordered a voyager 855/R HDSET from Techonweb.com. When I received the item, it did not work. I called them up and was told that I would have to send the item back to them and I would have to pay for the shipping to them. If I would send it back the same way, it would cost me $25.00. I asked them why I would have to pay the shipping for an item that they sent to me defective....I was told that is just the way it is. This would make the item now MORE expensive than buying it at the store. Shame on me I guess for trying to save a few dollars. I ended up calling the manufacture directly and they gladly said they would send me a replacement. Once I received the replacement, it would include a POSTAGE PAID label and to send them the broken one. Word to the wise....deal with the manufacture directly. This company was horrible.

27 May 2008 ordered Antec P190 computer case and specified payment by personal check. Item in stock.  
 
02 Jun 2008 my check cleared the bank. Went to web site to check order status. "Temp out". No problem, still collecting components for new build.  
 
20 Jun 2008 sent e-mail to Techonweb. I was getting a little concerned as various other site had dropped Antec P190 from inventory. Antec site did not list case as discontinued, but I was beginning to wonder. Received prompt reply from Chris saying ETA of case 09 Jul 2008.  
 
27 Jun 2008 cancelled order.  
 
16 Jul 2008 e-mailed Chris at Techonweb asking as to when I might expect refund, and as an aside, Antec case no longer listed on their site.  
 
18 Jul 2008 having not received reply (OK, Chris might be on vacation) sent another e-mail with same question to customer care department.  
 
18 Jul 2008 received e-mail from Chris saying he was not aware of my cancellation but that the check would be in the mail shortly.  
 
22 Jul 2008 received refund check as promised.

bought and paid for product using paypal at 4pm  
monday, product was delivered before noon the next day using fedex ground, was using product less than 20hrs after paying for it, AWESOME

Item was received in a few days. No problems with the product. The only issue I had with them is related to their acceptance of credit cards. I always use Single use credit cards when purchasing online (B.O.A. Shopsafe, Discover deskshop). When you place an order, they do a pre-approval of the card. When they get ready to ship the order, they charge the card for the full amount. The problem is that their pre-approval uses a different merchant name/ID than the actual sale. The pre-approval name used said PAYPAL, the actual order used Tech on Web. Not sure why the different merchant names, but the rep that called to tell me "your credit card is no good" wasn't exactly polite when I asked if they might have used a different merchant name for the pre-auth. I would have let it go, but they sent me a link asking me to do a review of them, and never bothered to call me to discuss what happened during the order process as I had requested.

I had originally thought this was an Asus eee PC 4G, not the 4G Surf because the description was not obvious enough (ASUS COMPUTER INTL - EEE 4G PUR WHT NB 7W-512MB 4GB FL WLS LNX SRF). As you can see there is an SRF at the end to indicate Surf. Even though it does not have a webcam or the longer lasting battery, it is still a good deal. The keyboard is smaller than other laptops, and the screen is tiny, but I still like it for its compact size and nice performance. I can easily carry this around anywhere and have it when I need it. It can even be connected to external monitor/keyboard/mouse. The pre-installed Linux has a user-friendly interface and some useful applications. I would like to see more programs available from the install menu in the future. All in all, it is a cute, cheap, and handy PC.  
The package was shipped out very quickly and arrived around the next day.

This was my second time ordering desktop memory from TechOnWeb. Each time, I have been impressed with the quality of product, the speed and quality of shipping, and the price (especially with rebated offered directly from HP).  
 
Will definitely shop with them again.
