I placed my order with confidence, only to be very unsatisfied. I received my shipment, (Well, the wrong shipment!) I have tried contacting them about it, and all I get from them, is that they want me to go out of my way to get their screwed up item back to them. They could care less about making things right.
If I ran a company, and screwed up like this, I would make sure I sent the replacement (IE: The correct item!) item overnight free of charge to my customer.
It is one thing to screw up, (We all do it from time to time!) however dragging ones feet, and not owning up to it, is just unacceptable.
The item I ordered is the Logitech Z5500 5.1 set of speakers, I received the Z2300. Which is about 1/2 the size, price and weight. I don't know how someone could mistake a box 1/2 the size as another. The damn Subwoofer wouldn't fit in this small box.
I will never do business with this company again, and recommend that no one else does either. There are to many great companies to allow these shotty ones to thrive on our dollar. This review was modified by its author, mlucas3, on

Ordering was pretty easy, the delivery came promptly, but the speakers do not work. The left speaker and sub-woofer seem to work okay, but the right speaker does not produce sound and has an intermittent crackling sound. Pretty disappointed about it, actually.
Update: Techonweb is exceptionally difficult when it comes to returns. As stated above, the product does not work, and in order to return it, I must pay for return shipping (not re-imbursed), and must pay the difference between what it cost when I bought it originally and what it costs now (only a few dollars, but still - I bought it for $34, it is now $36 and I have to pay shipping of $10). In the end, if I allow them to fix the problem, I have paid $57 for a $34 speaker system. Not a very good deal, and an awful customer service experience. Stay away from ordering from them if you expect any level of customer service. I agree with mdcarlyle (below) who said that customer service was unfriendly about it. STAY AWAY FROM TECHONWEB!!!!!!!!!
I ordered an expensive (and heavy) monitor from them: what they shipped was an apparently repackaged defective unit.
It has been an absolute horrow show of obstructionism on their part to get it returned and have the purchase credited back to my account.
They try their best to just stick you with it and will never reply to an email, leave you hanging on HOLD when you call, and send you to a dead-end mailbox when you actually try to speak to a person.
They refused to even answer my emails or phone messages that they arrange for a replacement with a functional unit, would not credit my account once I had paid $100.00 to ship it back, and when you finally get some fraudulent answer on your machine a couple of weeks later, they always have an excuse for why nothing has been done. Obviously a sham outfit, soon to change names and reappear as someone else---you know the type.
They received the defective unit last month and still have not credited my credit card---this morning was just another excuse and as of right now I'm out over $550.00.
Do yourself a favor an pay a few dolars more fora new unit from a reputable vendor. Sorry for the rant, but shabby companies take all the fun out of the trasaction.

Returning a defective item has been nothing but headaches. They claimed the package was damaged by UPS when they received it. UPS had been there 2 times trying to pickup the damaged package for inspection but it was unavailable. It's been over a month since the package was returned and the damage claim I filed with UPS has still not been able to resolve because of the delays Techonweb has caused. Will NEVER buy from this company again. DO NOT buy from this company unless you don't plan on returning the item for whatever reasons.

Ordered it on Tuesday, was at Fedex depot on Thursday. Would have had it on Friday but I was anxious and went to pick it up.
This place is great. Cheap prices, fast shipping--what more could you ask?

I ordered a set of Logitech Z-5500 5.1digital audio speakers. My experience with this retailer was wonderful. They had the best price I could find. I had a question about their shipping so I called customer service. After quickly and accurately (and politely) answering my question, the representative didn't just hang up on me because he had answered my question. We actually just talked for about 10 minutes or so! It turns out that the representative already owned the same set of speakers so we talked about those. Then it turned out that he also owned a mac so we talked about that too! All in all, the service and support was amazing, they actually care about their customers and the customers' satisfaction. I'll be back the next time I need to buy some electronics!

I ordered a laptop on 12/27. It was supposed to be in stock. A week later I received an email saying that the product was now in stock and would I confirm the purchase. I confirmed. I then received an email saying the product was out of stock, so I called and was told it would be in stock on 1/14. I called again on 1/17 and was told the product was discontinued. I guess they were never going to tell me that the order was never going to be filled. They won't get any more business from me.

After doing extensive research on the web.....
Ordered the ATI Radeon 850XT Platinum video card and the Plextor PX-716A DVD Drive. Order was shipped within 24 hours and products were received on time. Prices are very competative, shipping costs are a bit high. Would like to see free shipping from this vendor.

I don't usually waste the time filling out these surveys, but I was very impressed with
the service I received and thought maybe this time I would share my experience.
This is a good company to deal with.
I am very satisfied with my purchase.
The price was the lowest I found on the web from a reputable company.
It was shipped out quickly and without any problems.
I am going to buy from TECHONWEB again, and I would highly recommend them.

Very good price. Found the site through CNET. Easy to buy, know the tax, S & H cost, and what I am buying. In Stock or not, is instantly notified. Highly recommended marchant.

Shipping...is...freaking...fast!
Bought a Samsung Syncmaster 997DF 19" CRT off them, because they had the lowest shipped price for a brand new one. I paid for UPS ground, and placed my order on the 27th of December. I received my confirmation email, and two days later (the 29th), UPS shows up at my door with my monitor. Wow. Not only was the transaction smooth as butter and my monitor worked great, but the shipping speed was jaw dropping. If this is how TechonWeb.com normally does business, they are then possibly THE BEST e-tailer out there.

They also have free 2nd day air and prices are better.

I have really bad experience with this company on Christmas shopping.
I placed my order to buy Canon I250 printer $40 + shipping on Dec 16. The reason I shopped there was because they sell the item in very low price and as advertised. Before I placed the order online, the site told me they have stocks on hand.
When I place my order with ground shipping because I was thinking if the company took my order promptly on next day and shipped it out, I can get my printer. However, the order was shipped out until Dec 22. I talked to the sales and they said couple things to me
(1) According to the website, we can ship the order in 10 business day on all the ground shipping.
(2) The order was shipped couple days later even they have in stock because the Indiana which closed to East border have in stock, so they route the order to Indiana warehouse.
(3) I should not refuse the package because their warehouse is too large and not ablilty to track the order until RMA was issued in which I have to pay 3% restocking penality and return shipping.
In my opinion, Techonweb may save you couple buck, but I recommend someone to shop somewhere else to promptly order response.
